this is the first time i have been with 1st Central. Arranging the insurance was easy. Competitive cost to me. Lets see how it goes this year. When the renewaL IS DUE WILL BE THE BIG TSET

When I had a telephone conversation with one of your advisers, she was absolutely fantastic. ..Sorted everything I needed and did offer extra but I didn't require the other services. Thank you :)

I am a repeat Customer. I had a renewal price which as they said in letter was better than new customers. But when I went on comparison sites I had quotes from them dramatically different. When I phoned them after explaining the price difference they could not give me price on site. After lots of me trying to explain to polite but not too bright staff I had to cancel automatic renewal with them to then get the cheaper "new customer" price via comparison site. Got passed through 3 different members of staff just to do it cheaper online through someone else. Incompetent

After paying over £800 for my insurance I would consider my self a valued customer. Calling 3 times to have the names on the policy corrected at over 45 mins each time was an absolute JOKE. I asked for confirmation of whether the policy covered me third party however this took the advisor 22 minutes and kept me on hold. Useless staff and useless company, no wonder you are cheap you don't spend money on training

New quote is not the lowest I cab receive therefore will use a new insurance company if they can not match my new quote.

very pleased with 1st central never come across them before ,no pressure to take up optional xtras always a bonus,,,beat my current insurer by a considerable amount.

I had an accident in my car, and this resulted in the car been written off. Since the accident I have experienced very bad customer service. I have had to call on a number off occasion to find out what was happened with the claim. I then was told I was offered a payout, which I excepted. I was then told from this amount excess and the remainder of the years insurance would be deducted, I was pleased with this and waited for the cheque. This took longer than expected even though after a several calls was told the cheque was on its way. I finally received the cheque. 2 months later I purchased a new car. I contacted them to change the details on my policy as I was still insured with them. On my call I was told I had to pay over £100 outstanding balance. When I explained there was no outstanding balance as my insurance was paid up in full they would not let me insure the new car until I agreed to pay this and set up a direct debit each month over £100 I called customer service to try and sort this mistake out and was advised to call the claims department as this is something they need to sort out. I called the claims department to be told they don't deal with this side of things and I need to call customer services. After many many calls about £200 in calls witch I will be looking to claim back. I am still no further forward to hawing this sorted out. I have cancelled my direct debit as I do not need to be paying a monthly amount as I am paid up until the end of my insurance policy runs out. I have never experienced as much bad customer services as I have at 1stcentral. I will never recommend this company to any of my friends and family. Stay away from them.

Renewal quote for a similar car is a lot more expensive, will not use again.

I have opened this insurance policy to help my daughter learn to drive, the package you have given me is great! :D It is a little early however to ask how you are doing as a company, as we are only two days in with you.

Easy to deal with and the online portal makes it simple to check on your policy details. The staff over the phone were friendly & efficient when I needed to make an amendment to the reg when setting up the policy. Overall a great company to deal with so far.
