“I have been using the 24/7 HomeRescues service for several years. In the past, there were often problems each year, most commonly with annual service appointments not being attended without notice. The customer call centre, which seemed to be based overseas, often appeared poorly trained and unfamiliar with British service standards and customer expectations. This year, however, the experience has been surprisingly positive. The service seems to have improved significantly. The customer support now appears to be handled locally, and the response time has been much quicker. It feels as though there may have been a change in management or service approach, and at least over the phone the improvement has been very noticeable. I would particularly like to thank the engineer, Mohammed, who attended my repair job last Monday and again today. He provided an honest and reliable service throughout. Mohammed is a very polite gentleman and carries out his work with great care. For example, he wore shoe covers while inside the property and cleaned up thoroughly after completing the work. He is not overly talkative but remains focused on the task at hand. Most importantly, he successfully resolved the boiler issue and paired the thermostat with the receiver. I truly appreciate his effort and professionalism.”

“Had an engineer today. I would like to say how impressed I was with the engineer H. Rashid. He was very efficient, very polite and friendly. Completed the job successfully and fully tested all the water to make sure all was working before he left. Also before leaving checked I was happy with work done and showed me a video of work he had done in the loft. I was kept informed on arrival time, given a three hour slot. So though happy with the engineer and outcome, I was not so happy when I rang late Sunday night as having a leak, water pouring from upstairs to the downstairs bathroom. I thought it was 24/7 but apparently it's not, though I did speak to a person, who at one point suggested my 12 year old Grandson could help me turn the water off. I explained I could not turn the water off.He suggested I rang an emergency plumber! that's what I thought I was doing. Unbelievably at the end of the conversation he asked if I could answer a short survey! I was a bit busy emptying buckets that were rapidly filling up. Outcome I had to phone the emergency plumber, who luckily was working 24/7, he turned water off and told me what the problem was. Unfortunately he did not have the part. So eventually on Tuesday the engineer arrived. So well done to H.Rashid the engineer. I hope the company appreciates him and gets to see this review.”

“Lee, the engineer who attended was very friendly and efficient. Although he does not normally work in our area, we would be very happy if any future work required was done by him. Although we originally were unhappy that first appointment was cancelled by 24/7 the service carried out a few days later exceeded expectations because Lee was so good.”
