Scam, they said they will cover your boiler breakdown, but they don't, as the small print says. please check out the small print with them. IF Your boiler has been declared beyond economic repair (BER),they don't cover. they don't tell you this when you sign up with them.Please be aware, don't pay them like a fool. Check the small print. Don't let them take your money and assuming your boiler is protected. Aa I have been with them for the last 3 years, paying£17.99 a month for boiler and heating system cover. Call out £45 each time you claim. When I made an claim, they use the excuse of beyond economics repair BER, and refused to repair my 11 years old Worcester Bosch boiler. As they said the fan is cost too much to replace. They said my boiler only worth £250. The fan cost more than the boiler. Left me and family in the cold. Really Awful company 247. They voided my policy and cancelled my boiler and heating cover, and put me to basic home cover for £8.99 a month, what's the point to have cover from them. Date of experience: 10 December 2024

24/7 an absolute rip off. I kept paying monthly direct debit and paid excess fee £95 twice for one event when I had a drainage blocked last month. They send out engineers(cowboys) whom more likely to view and write reports only rather than to complete the task and finally I was told those blocks are not included in the policy, same as all other reviewer's experience in this page. I had to call out plumbers from Checkatrade and job is done after 10 days of 24/7 saga. Surprisingly, this 24/7 is leading all the major comparison sites for boiler and drainage cover, not sure how. Please stay away from 24/7, hassle is not worthy!!!!! A pure SCAM !!!!!!!!!

AWFUL COMPANY!!! stay well away from them, all the bad reviews are true. They don't have their own team of engineers, they rely on third party contractors, as a result they take an average of two days before they send an engineer. They give you one appoinment but engineer does not turn up on that day. I had a blocked toilette and they managed to break the rest pipe, and then i was told collapse pipes are not included in the policy, i told them their contractor did it, and they washed off their hands. Ah....all this happen on a Friday, engineer came late, 4:30pm, and left my family and i without washing facilities for the entire weekend. They told me they will investigate the contractor but they dont, they lie and dont care about the customer. Please do not use them.

5 days for Boiler check on failure, then told uneconomical repair.Tried selling me new Boiler. WHY ? When present 12y Vaillant working fine, may need repairs in future, but can pay for any replacement parts rather 3.3k For new Boiler !! REPAIR RATHER THAN REPLACE!!

How can you have a rating of 4.6 when the service is so appalling? I made a complaint on 27/11 and I did not receive a call back till today. When I rang them today they lied about everything. Only when I put my foot down that I got someone to take me seriously. They are quick to take the excess but very slow to provide service and compensation

My experience with 24/7 Home Rescue has been the worst. They take your money, but when you request a repair, they claim it’s not covered by the contract. Even when I wanted to cancel my subscription, they tried to charge me unfairly. If you want to waste your money and get frustrated, this is the company for you.

Will do anything to sell a boiler! Sales person wasn't transparent about call-out fees when I was sold a boiler and how that impacts my current policy. 247 Staywarm, who are a sister company of 247 Home Rescue, have told me that I don't need to pay for call-out charges, but this is not true! He wasn't clear about the difference between the warranty and the plan I'm paying for. I can't escalate to the Financial ombudsman service since 247 Staywarm who sold me the boiler isn't regulated by them.

Dreadful service - 2 non visits - van broken down and cannot find the property (strange everyone else can). Tried to phone again today to rearrange- 3 time of trying again to be to.d promised someone will come back to you within the hour this time - surprise time now up and no one can called back -Shahim promised that my call was urgent and a new date would be sorted. I am still waiting and clearly this company is a waste of time.

This is the worse ever rescue company coming from British Gas who were pretty good. I had unfortunate dealings with them on multiple occasions and my summary of the company is - BARELY ANYTHING is covered in the terms. Like for plumbing, draining the system is not covered. Most central heating jobs require a draining system which means we have to pay £135, for toilets replacing some part would mean moving the toilet for which they charge £140 (and no they won't agree to us moving rh toilet ourselves too) - They use engineers who don't know much about what they are doing. Multiple occasions their engineers conflicted the previous one. - Customer service doesn't follow instructions - to resolve something would require many many calls as teams don't talk and engineer don't follow up. - engineers due to lack of knowledge will make things worse and then blame it on you. - engineers will find a way to make sure it's not covered. They fixed one thing but messed another and blame my system. - engineer would blame previous engineer from the same company for wrong quote and for ordering wrong parts My boiler had a pressure issue which meant changing expansion vessel. I got that changed by paying for draining which wasn't covered. The engineer did something that my boiler keeps cutting off. Another different engineer came and said that I need a complete boiler strip off which is ridiculous as everything was fine before the engineer did the works. Overall disappointed with them and will not renew my contract. AVOID

Very bad company scammers engineer come for Bolier service he fail my boiler he said pipe leak they didnt fix my pipe rather then they quote me change boiler I call locall engineer he give me quote 250 include pass certificate still wait for manager I'll take them court I have worst experience this insurance highly not recommend

24/7 don't have there own engineers They made me pay £100 cancellation fee to leave them when the error was from there end. The 24/7 home rescue is run from abroad. All the agent answer the calls with a English name but they are from Pakistan They talk like a parrot 🦜 and they pick and choose what they want to do. They blantly lie to save there backs They say something and do something else. Please if u dont don't hassle.stay away from this country.

Please stay away from this company. This company doesn't have their own boiler engineers. They out source the jobs to third party plumber’s who are not fully qualified. The 3rd party plumbers put incorrect information on the report so they customer can hire them and charge them ridiculous amount. Please stay away from this company. There call centre is not in uk and it's very hard to understand the agents. British gas may charge more but at least they send there own engineers and they provide full information. 24/7 boiler home rescue needs to be closed down.

Totally incompetent. Had a plumber booked to do gas service on two separate days. On both occasions the engineer failed to turn up without having the courtesy of letting me know of his no show. Cannot give a zero star as the site won’t accept it. This company purports to be a 24/7 outfit. They are not. They don’t work in the evenings or weekends. They promise a service and fail to deliver. And kick off if you demand your money back. Don’t use them.

"Avoid 24/7 Home Rescue – Unreliable and Unhelpful" I am extremely disappointed with 24/7 Home Rescue and how they have handled my recent claim. Despite having a policy that clearly includes parts and labour, the company has been doing everything possible to avoid paying out on a valid claim. We have been without hot water for 6 days, making everyday tasks extremely difficult. Rather than helping us resolve this urgent issue, 24/7 Home Rescue has delayed the process and failed to provide any reasonable explanation. It feels like they are intentionally avoiding their responsibilities under the policy, leaving us frustrated and stressed. Communication has been poor throughout, and despite following all procedures and submitting all necessary paperwork, they continue to make excuses for not settling the claim. I would not recommend 24/7 Home Rescue to anyone looking for reliable home coverage. They do not act in good faith, and their focus seems to be on avoiding payouts rather than helping customers when they are in need.

Damaged our boiler, refused to take any responsibility and 'mended it' with tape. Complaints department show no empathy or care.

The most despicable Company I have ever dealt with.They tell lie after lie. Do not take a contract out with them under any circumstances. Trading standards should look into their behaviour and stop them trading.

This company is a complete rip off! I took out boiler insurance with them and during my annual boiler service they told me if my boiler broke down they would not be able to get parts for it so I should buy a new boiler. They scaremonger you into believing your boiler will break down during winter and they won't be able to fix it. I started the process of getting a new boiler and paid them a deposit. I then did some research and realised they were charging a lot more than other company's for a new boiler and the new boiler insurance was a 10 year direct debit which they did not tell me about. They also did not tell me that I was entitled to a £250 discount as I had a policy with them. I cancelled the new boiler but the company did not give me back my £700 deposit. I phoned them several times and they said the refund had been processed and it was my bank that was keeping the funds from me. It was all lies, no refund was processed so I opened a dispute with my bank and got my money back. All the people that work for this company are in on the scam and are just trying to sell products. Don't waste your money go with another company!

I had a one-year cover policy with 247 Home Rescue, that covered nothing. They were only interested in collecting monthly direct debits. 1st call out for a shower tap problem was declined. 2nd call out for kitchen drain blockage could not be fixed by an unskilled cowboy sent. I have to do this privately with a handyman. The annual boiler service request took the person sent three minutes only to dust the boiler with a brush. Thirdly, the call out for no hot water and heating again was misdiagnosed as a broken pump, so boiler replacement was recommended by another unskilled person sent by 247. I had to cancel my policy and called out the W/Bose engineer privately. The boiler was diagnosed as low pressure due to leakage hence no hot water and heating. The leaking spot was tightened and the boiler was repressurised. Heating and hot water are now restored. The engineer said nothing was wrong with the boiler. I WONDER THE NUMBER OF GOOD WORKING BOILERS 247 HOME RESCUE QUACK ENGINEERS HAVE CONDEMNED
