Dreadful service. Bathroom sprung a leak, i rang expecting an emergency call out service to be told to take photos and send them in via email, I did, was told to expect a call between 8-10am next day! No call by half ten so ring again to be told the tech team need to see pictures! As this was a weekend I was told there was no one available til Monday! Absolutely ridiculous service. Cancelled with immediate effect.this is not 24/7 home rescue! Left me with a flooded bathroom! Thanks a lot! Do not use. I do not recommend at all.

They are awful, I paid for a year service. I called in the winter for a boiler check and heating service and they said I have to do after 9 months so in the winter. I would stay clear from them. I also have a leak in the house, apparently it needs to be a visible leak. They will not come to check where the leak comes from so dont see how they are home rescue. They cover my drainage and plumbing and heaing. But can not check if it is one of them causing the leak as they need to see it. I will never renew with them again.

I have just paid to end my contract with 24/7 it would take to long to say why but they are the worst lot of cowboys I have ever come across DO NOT USE THEM

Cowboys…thieves….STEER CLEAR!! Waited 4 weeks for an engineer for my boiler then told they won’t repair it. They’ve got some clauses in the fine print to get out of it. Do yourselves a favour and go with someone reputable

It's now 1st June 2024 I been without hot water nearly 3 weeks and I've just received a phone call asking me to wait till the 6th June 2024 for the parts to arrive. I'm frustrated because I've been stressing an F28/29 code that keeps appearing on the boiler but for some reason the engineer cannot sort the problem out. When taking the policy out the agent reassure you that the engineer carry the parts with them in their van but this is not true they don't have parts they always have to order and by the time they get to you it takes 4 days+. Vulnerable people like myself have no other choice but to suffer like this. I have been neglected don't know how long I will have to cope with this.

It's now 24th May 2024 8.45am and since the 6th May 2024 I've had problems trying to resolve my boiler issues with this company, explainingto them I am a vulnerable lady with health issues and I am reallystrugglingwithout hot water. Since the 22nd I've been waiting for an engineer to come and fix my boiler, I took the whole day of work and waited for an engineer to turn around and say to me they can't fix it on the same day and they will have to come another day. After ringing the office I was asked to wait another 2 to 3 days before an engineer could get to me, this was now leaving me without hot water again for so long. I was now getting frustrating, after speaking to the manger they decided to book an engineer for the next day which was the 23rd May. I had to book another full day of work as they weren't sure what time the engineer would be able to get to me. After the engineer attended he managed to get the hot water running for about 8 hours and guess what? The boiler is totally broken now, with no LCD displaying or turning on. I've rung the office this morning 24th May and I have to wait for as long as 4 or 5 hours for a call back, where now my anxiety is kicking in because it's a bank holiday weekend and if they don't sort the problem out for me today I will and a worsen position than before, because before the hot water would work alongside the central heatings but now I would not have neither central heatings working and hot water. It's now 1.50pm after waiting 5 hours I have rung back myself I have been told they can't get an engineer out to me till Sunday 26th May and am I happy with them to book the appointment? Obviously not as now I'm without hot water completely for another few days.

Company that is dishonest; do not give them money. Bad client support.They stole all of my investment money, but all of the money they had stolen was returned to me after I protested to S I M O N C H. C O M

This company is scum.. had boiler and heating breakdown cover .. made a claim due to boiler losing pressure engineer came told us its heat exchanger needs replacing which could cost around £500 .got email from office that they have cancelled my policy and I am no longer covered Got the boiler repair by private gas engineer next day it only cost £80

Utterly appalling - Scammers! Utterly appalling - avoid at all costs! CO2 alarm went off so we called our local Gas Network. Engineer shut off gas and advised we get a boiler check done. Called at 3pm and was told to expect a call back 'very soon'. Called again just after 4pm and was asked to send engineers report and that, once received, soemone would call back 'almost immediately'. Called again around 6pm to be told the report was being reviewed but an engineer would 'certainly be with us that evening' We then endured an awful and cold Scottish night with young children. i called on the way to work around 6am to be fobbed off with the same excuses. I was then told as it was 'an overseas call centre' they had no authority to do anything. This operative couldnt tell me the out of hours hours but advised that my query the day before came 'out of hours'......remember I called at 3pm, 4pm and 6pm? I was 'promised' a call back at 9am. I received a call (again on a very bad line from overseas) after 9am to be advised that it was not covered by my policy and it would be £95 plus labour! I have read the T&CS and it clearly states 'Boiler Emergency'. The SGN engingeer has advised we get the boiler checked in case it has a fault but a boiler policy doesn't cover that? They said its a 'risk' but if I pay almost £100 plus a few hundred labour that risk apparently doesn't apply? I asked a more senior person to call me back and never got a response. I shall be contacting the Obudsman and urge you to PLEASE avoid this outfit if you have any sense! *They have since contacted me to discuss the situation and it';s went from bad to worse - standard 'copy and paste' emails as responses. I cant beleive companies like this can exist in this day and age. Utter scam! Don't take the gamble Date of experience: 09 April 2024

This company is a con and very unreliable, unprofessional and will take your money. Please don’t trust them, once you are signed up to a contract their service is poor and they falsely report issues and always say the work is the not covered under the policy and will make you pay a high excess payment on top of your monthly direct debit. Please be warned about the company don’t sign up to a contract with them and if you are already with them I recommend choosing another company that is more professional and trustworthy.

Never trust , crooks . they do not commit for the repair , once you submit a claim. charged me call out £75 and are un able to repair the boiler. I asked for a recall, chased up three times and they keep promising a call back by a Manager Anas, Irfan, Harris three names was given to me by Ahsan ( claim department). An official complaint for breach of service agreement on the way.

BEWARE DO NOT SIGHNUP WITH THIS COMPANY I had insurance with 24/7 with call out charge £75 , contacted customer care because my boiler was not working well and also for service, engineer visited the property and advised to replace the boiler because my boiler was beyond the economical repair, i contacted the company to find out the the repair cost instead of replacing the boiler, they said only £250 for towards the repair including parts and labor, i need to pay rest of the money against the repair, during the purchasing the policy i contacted customer care couple of times and discussed about the all charges, they said only call out charge needs to pay against the each claim they haven't mentioned about the repair cost limit(£250), i have provided my boiler make, model and approx. age limit before purchasing the policy still they didn't mentioned about the cost limit. more over, they offered me a quote to replace the boiler £1000 more costly than any other company for same model. please avoid this company.

To anybody reading this the more of us that complain to trading standards, action fraud, watchdog the better. They will not let you go. Even after you have cancelled and paid the cancellation fee they still try to take the policy fee. To the lady stuck in the ten year contract take them to the small claims court. You can make a claim via Money Claims if its under £10,000. You can file an application,you dont need a solicitor. The contract has unfair terms and the boiler they are offering is also unfair and of poor quality. I have no idea why they are allowed to operate, they have been on rip off britain and watchdog. They dont offer what they say,infact they do what they please but never for the customer. Dont get caught up with their lies. Do everything in writing. They lie over the phone. Everytime they have someone go in they learn by it then manipulate it by being more crafty. You have been warned.

Terrible company. Will come up with excuse why not to do the work you are paying for. Refusing to unblock our drain, wanting us to source another company to put cctv down there at our own expense, when there is no reason they can not unblock with the rods or jets. Our policy covers doors and they wouldn't fix our door either. It seems any excuse is used not to do the work. Cannot leave without paying yet more money for a cancellation fee. Complaint procedure getting me no where. Avoid like the plague, worst company I have ever dealt with.

Unbelievable we as vulnerable customers had a brand new boiler off them and due to their electrician causing so many problems without heating for 5 days and only offered £40 compensation. Plus returned a valve as already had a new one fitted week previously. And no refund for it. Appointments not kept . This was in January. And we are in our 80’s So now on top of all this bad treatment I asked to cancel my cover of £15.39. Per month To be told I had unknowingly signed a TEN YEAR contract In our 80’s and would have to pay £70 per year to cancel which left me to pay £630. A ten year contract for a service on central heating system to all I have spoken to is unbelievable. Comments would be appreciated. And as I see from other users do not go anywhere near 24/7 asked below how long to get a refund. Haven’t had a refund. Just expected to pay £630 for their incompetence. Due to their mistakes on fitting a £2600 boiler .

When arranging the routine annual maintenance the time frame for your appointment is 8am-6pm and they refuse to give you any further advice on arrival time and will not even narrow it down to for instance a morning or afternoon time band even on the day of the appointment This approach is very inconsiderate. I use them for my property portfolio and thinking of switching as not very customer-orientated.

DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS COMPANY. It's a shame to put a negative comment as the sign up process was simple and an appointment was arranged quickly for my boiler to be serviced. BUT... The engineer carried out the service on the boiler although when he left I noticed the boilers pressure was above 4 bar. Naturally I panicked and called the engineer who advised me to check if water we being supressed out of the pressure release pipe, which it was and was then advised to keep an eye on this over time and the pressure should start to drop. I checked a while later and the pressure was still at 3 bar but still dangerously high in my opinion. Early March I opened a new claim with 24/7 and made them aware of this issue but they would not send an engineer out until I paid the access of £75 being my boiler was 11 years and older (I was not aware of this at the time I signed up and like always this was hidden away and not clearly stated like other companies do) I was advised that if the engineer were at fault I would get the £75 refunded. A different engineer turned up the next day, who I might add was very good and fixed the issue by increasing air to the expansion tank. The service desk called me up followed by manager call to advised they would not refund my £75 as it’s not the engineer at fault and this is not a part of the service! For the past 10 years the expansion tank has always been topped up under the many services carried out by well-known company. I SHOULD NOT BE PENALISED FOR AN ENGINEER LEAVING MY BOILER UNSAFE !! *** STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY ***

Customer ‘service’ bad with little communication passed on, overseas team not ideal to speak to. They cancelled two boiler services day before each time after I’d waited ages for the appointments in the first place and taken time from work’. And then had to wait months for another appointment. I decided to cancel the policy, notified them, and cancelled my direct debit and the company continued to take further payments saying in an email they took the ‘liberty’ of reinstating it!!! Not good
