“Do not book anything with alpharooms holiday cancelled last July tried emailing . phone no one will answer how they can take people's moneyl what a scam”

“Alpha rooms and teletext owned by the same company Truly Holdings, They are still taking bookings and taking money, but not responding to phone calls, emails asking for my money back from 2000. They said a credit note will last for 12 months and if you didn’t book in this time you had to wait until the year was up and the you could have a refund, the holiday was booked for April 2000 , it will be 1st June tomorrow, I have phoned numerous times and they just fob you off with lies, I have filled in claim Form , but to no avail, Not even a response, Please don’t loose your money by booking with Alpha rooms or teletext, They are still advertising and taking bookings and money, I personally wouldn’t be surprised if they claimed bankruptcy,”

“A complete an utter shambles of an agency. Do not book anything with this company.!! I booked and paid for a holiday in February 2020 for April 2020 with them which was cancelled due to covid. They said I had to wait till last day in April 2021 for refund. Now they have completed stopped answering calls. May 25th 2021. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY”

“Request a charge back from your bank, I did and within 48 hours I received a full refund. Alpha rooms woeful customer service. Waiting 14 months for a refund from alpha.”

“AVOID AVOID AVOID i wouldn't even give Alpha rooms 1 star. Waiting for a refund since may 2020. No reply to written complaints, When you call and finally get through after nearly and hour they say they are putting you on hold and then hang up. DISGRACEFUL. Have sought legal advise”

“Still waiting on a refund since May 2020. can not get through to these at all iv spent many hours on the phone and iv sent emails still no answer from them. I'm Irish so i dont know what else to do?? but this is pure robbery!!!!!!!!!!”

“Cannot get refund since last May for cancelled holiday for which initially a voucher was supplied and now cannot get my cash refund. Have sent numerous emails and messages through their website without success and have tried telephoning. Do not know where to go from here as I am an Irish Customer and the law varies from Ireland to England. I am 70 years old and cannot afford to be without this money but this company do not seem to care. Will never deal with them again, but I need this money back now.”

“When you book a room with free cancellation you expect your money back but they are asking 30% cost , even you have 6 months to trip...”

“I like many other customers have been let down by this company. I waited patiently for the refund date after being issued with a year long voucher. They haven't even responded to my emails. To the set refund email and any other emails sent to active emails. I've used this company several times before. However I will never use them again. If you'd been robbed by someone for the amount this company have taken from you they'd be arrested! Why are big companies protected! It's just shocking!???”

“One star would have been a 0 star only they didn't have any. Same as everyone else they don't returns my emails&phone calls,still waiting for my refund, they said I would get refund and of March we are just getting fobbed off never again will I use this company again. I think its disgraceful the way we get treated we save our money for holidays and then for them to rob us they take the money and has to be paid in full otherwise the would cancel but don't give back so very angry”

“A year and a half and still no refund for our pandemic holiday that was cancelled. Phone line always says they will ring you back with department for refund within 48 hours and this never happens your back to square one. Joke of a company do not use ripping people off of money they need during these times.”

“SCAM ARTISTS!!! FRAUD!! BEWARE!!!- they pretend to be a law firm Michael J Carbill in New York and tell the seller that all expenses will be paid for their Timeshare, there are no upfront fees. They make a high offer on your Time Share to entice you, then when the fake transfer is suppose to be made they demand the buyer to pay the transfer fee upfront, ours was $2,400. They demand you pay to have the Timeshare transferred and deny they ever told you there were NO UPFRONT FEES. The name of the company to pay was not to the Timeshare company. I called the timeshare company and they told us that no such person works for their company and they do not demand the seller pay the transfer fee upfront, anyone can pay the transfer fees, as long as it is paid. ALL FRAUDULENT!!!The documents received did not come from the Timeshare company, the name of the person to be paid was not of the When I called Alpharooms, all of a sudden their attitude changed and they made excuses or lie after lie to cover their story and got rude and tried to demean me and my spouse. The idiots never got our money, dont let them get yours. I am reporting them to the Fraud Department! This has to end.”

“I have given 1 star as you dont get he option to give zero. STAY AWAY FROM ALPHA ROOMS. I have been trying to phone for months with no answer. In addition i have sent numerous messages and to date had no response. I will never use this company and would recommend anyone else STAYS AWAY FROM THEM”

“Alpha Rooms a joke. Do not book with them. They cancelled my accommodation in April 2020 due to covid. I was told I could not get a refund until April 2021. Now they will not answer any e mails and it's impossible to contact them. If you phone them and are lucky to speak to someone who can speak English. They promise everything just to get you off the phone. Customer service is shocking. I have never ever dealt with such a company. They are a disgrace.”

“Absolute disaster.. So frustrating when not one person I spoke to in their CS could help in any way with refund. I have been chasing for over 12 months now. Flight company confirmed that they refunded the money but still nothing.. I am done chasing now and I am going to seek legal action. No other route to take at this stage. I will never book with them again.”

“I am in the same situation as most people on this site. We have been trying to get our refund from Alpharooms for over 12 months,but just been lied to, or ignored, so decided that the only option left was to contact our bank 'Santander' and take out a section 75, but to my surprise and horror Santander said that they could not issue an s75 because Alpharooms had not refused to pay the refund. So what the hell are we supposed to do?. If this is the case none of us has any chance of getting our money back without taking them to court.”

“Same as everyone else with the no refund. Suppose to go away April 2020 and cancelled due to Covid and still awaiting a refund for hotel. Keep getting fobbed off by staff at the Indian call centre time after time. Just started sec75 with my credit card company as fed up dealing with these clowns! Every single person tells you something different every time. These staff members are clearly being told to lie to us by their seniors and are happy to sit there and do it. Alpha rooms have no intentions of paying anyone back at all. Everyone this has happened to should report this matter to police online as a theft as that's what I will be doing after this review. Anyone rading thats not booked with these clowns be warned!”
