“I booked and paid for a holiday a year and a half ago for June 2020. Still waiting for a refund as it was cancelled due to Covid. Was meant to be refunded a year after departure date which was 6th June. Can't get a reply as to when I will receive it if ever. I know people are going through small claims court to get it back. Shocking customer service”

“Coming up 2 years waiting on a refund. I received an 1 email after Today after have been emailing them since March and , this was one response I got after calls and emails again since March .. how they think this is anyway reasonable .. as soon as this becomes possible .. I’m pretty sure I paid you and you should give the money back.. please read below .. anyone who is thinking about using this company maybe think again.. customer service is far beyond disgraceful.. “ Greetings of the day!! Please be assured we do accept you are due a refund and are very sorry you are still waiting for this. Please rest assured you will be refunded as soon as this becomes possible. “Booked a hotel through this company which was cancelled due to COVID waited over 18 months for my refund, made lots of phone calls & emails. No one is interested please DO NOT use this company. Finally my last straw was to take out a small claim against this company which cost me £80 but was worth every penny, as I was refunded in FULL, do as I did and don’t delay.”

“I fully agree with all the comments regarding this shister or a company - struggle to answer phone calls and eventually get cut off / same generic reply and never reply to emailed responses .. would give less than 1 star if I could - strange how others have commented on duplicated bookings which are unable to be cancelled”

“Do not book with this company. I book a hotel stay beginning of July 2021 they took the money twice from my account and I am still waiting for a refund. I have had to call them 4 times to try get this sorted, was first told I would take 15 working days for a refund which in its self is shocking. 3 weeks later still no money, I was told they would look into it and call me back within 48 hours, that didn't happen! Just spoken to them today to be told the refund will be processed Monday and will receive the money in 10 day! So 5 weeks to wait for over £1000 which they took in error, disgusting! Every time I call it takes over an hour to give me answers and I don't trust what I'm being told anymore, starting to wonder if I will ever get my refund. I will never book with this company again and am warning others not to either. Look on trust pilot so many people still waiting for their refunds. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!”

“I saw a post who said they claimed their refund through the small claims court. Can you advise how to do this. Like everyone have been waiting for a refund since last year. Told to wait until 31st may nothing since. No replies to my emails. When I get through on the phone after 50 mins I’m told that they will ring me in a few days. I don’t get a call and I’m then advised that a refund should issue soon. Just if someone could give idea how to proceed to small claims court online I would process it.”

“I waited 15 months for a refund due to holiday being cancelled because of covid. I completed a small claims court form online and got my money back within 4 weeks. Cost me £50 for court which Alpharooms won't refund but at least I got my holiday money back. Would never book a holiday with them again.”

“Please help I booked 4 nights hotel with alfarooms I paid in full but alfarooms are saying I haven't I have rang phoned 100s of time emailed and are still saying I owe £370 which I wrong as I have paid in full the bank is saying I have to wait until the date of travel isn't until September I have to wait what can I do please help”

“AVOID I booked a hotel with this company and when I got there they had no booking confirmation. I contacted alpha rooms and they said there was nothing g they could do. I had to pay again at reception. I have been a emailing alpha rooms constantly with little reply only to make excuses to get rid of me Before blocking my email address The company is a joke !!!”

“Personally I would give no stars to this company. Call centres based in India and will not give refunds. Do not use this company. No uk telephone numbers No Covid refunds. You have to wait more than 12 months then they change the rules. Beware”

“Very poor and will not book with this company again Me and a few others friends booked with alpharooms but unfortunately are flight got cancelled and we got are money back for the flight. Alpharoom did not… after filling out the cancellation form twice they still tried to take the outstanding money out and will not give us are money back we have already paid. Impossible to actually speak to anyone.”

“NO REFUND'S YET !!!!!!!!!!!!!! SMELLS LIKE A SCAM Nothing but Lies, Misinformation and Delay tactics... Having not one but two holidays cancelled due to the dreaded pandemic, we thought it would be straight forward to go through the refund procedure how wrong were we. Having phoned Alpharooms June 2020 last year we were told our money was SAFE and will receive refund very shortly Yeah right still waiting, called again several times different excuses all Misinformation and Delay tactics.. was told would be refunded in March 2021 just to call with my details more Lies.....asked to fill in a PRCN "Protected Refund Credit Note Form" Complete Delay tactics, next call will definitely refund will be given in June 2021 this is now a year later unbelievable you guessed it yet another lie. 30th June another call we were told were are number 19 in the Cue and will be refunded within a few days YET ANOTHER LIE !!! Phoned again Today 9th July 2021 after we confronted Alpharooms all previous conversations and that everything they told us can only be described as a MASSIVE SCAM, they admitted everything was a LIE says it all, the upside of this conversation is we will definitely be contacted within 10 days to process our refund watch this space....... BE WARNED DO NOT BOOK WITH ALPHAROOMS”

“If '0' stars would be an option this is what this mess should get. We booked our holidays last Feb to fly to Gran Canaria in May 2020. Holiday cancelled due to to Covid 19.When this all happened Alpharooms just switched off their phone lines! We were forced to accept the voucher for the accommodation, valid until 31st May 2021, after that date we were to be able to request a cash refund. All great...but... they do not pick up their phones, spend ages trying to get through, sent over 20 emails to 4 different email addresses, being completely ignored. STAY AWAY! this place is not worth your time and stress. They have been holding on to our money for over 14 months now and as of today we have not received any updates regarding dates of refunds. We gave them time to refund us until the end of this week. After that, we are taking the case to small claims court.”

“Waiting for refund now for over 1 year. Sent plenty of e-mails to customer service as it is useless trying to get anybody to answer the phone so gave up..Auto replies to e-mails promising a refund . They promised last year a full refund of credit note after 1 year. NOT TO BE BELIEVED SO FAR IF THEY PROVE ME WRONG AND GIVE A REFUND I WILL UPDATE IN THEIR FAVOUR.”

“Our trip to Malta was cancelled April 2020. Initially we were given a credit note, which they claimed would be converted to a cash refund if unused. Still no refund. No replies to the numerous emails. Disgraceful.”
