NO REFUND'S YET !!!!!!!!!!!!!! SMELLS LIKE A SCAM Nothing but Lies, Misinformation and Delay tactics... Having not one but two holidays cancelled due to the dreaded pandemic, we thought it would be straight forward to go through the refund procedure how wrong were we. Having phoned Alpharooms June 2020 last year we were told our money was SAFE and will receive refund very shortly Yeah right still waiting, called again several times different excuses all Misinformation and Delay tactics.. was told would be refunded in March 2021 just to call with my details more Lies.....asked to fill in a PRCN "Protected Refund Credit Note Form" Complete Delay tactics, next call will definitely refund will be given in June 2021 this is now a year later unbelievable you guessed it yet another lie. 30th June another call we were told were are number 19 in the Cue and will be refunded within a few days YET ANOTHER LIE !!! Phoned again Today 9th July 2021 after we confronted Alpharooms all previous conversations and that everything they told us can only be described as a MASSIVE SCAM, they admitted everything was a LIE says it all, the upside of this conversation is we will definitely be contacted within 10 days to process our refund watch this space....... BE WARNED DO NOT BOOK WITH ALPHAROOMS

If '0' stars would be an option this is what this mess should get. We booked our holidays last Feb to fly to Gran Canaria in May 2020. Holiday cancelled due to to Covid 19.When this all happened Alpharooms just switched off their phone lines! We were forced to accept the voucher for the accommodation, valid until 31st May 2021, after that date we were to be able to request a cash refund. All great...but... they do not pick up their phones, spend ages trying to get through, sent over 20 emails to 4 different email addresses, being completely ignored. STAY AWAY! this place is not worth your time and stress. They have been holding on to our money for over 14 months now and as of today we have not received any updates regarding dates of refunds. We gave them time to refund us until the end of this week. After that, we are taking the case to small claims court.

Waiting for refund now for over 1 year. Sent plenty of e-mails to customer service as it is useless trying to get anybody to answer the phone so gave up..Auto replies to e-mails promising a refund . They promised last year a full refund of credit note after 1 year. NOT TO BE BELIEVED SO FAR IF THEY PROVE ME WRONG AND GIVE A REFUND I WILL UPDATE IN THEIR FAVOUR.

Our trip to Malta was cancelled April 2020. Initially we were given a credit note, which they claimed would be converted to a cash refund if unused. Still no refund. No replies to the numerous emails. Disgraceful.

Dreadful company. I purposely chose to book an apartment with free cancellation up to 5 days before departure. When I realised that Portugal was going to go on the amber list, I emailed to cancel so many times I’ve lost count, and also phoned dozens of times with no response. In the end I had to cancel my credit card so they couldn’t take the money from my account and I have since had invoices for the final balance!! I have sent another three emails informing them that I have proof that I booked as with free cancellation but have had no response. Avoid like the plague

I paid my holiday in full on 23rd May When I arrived at hotel in Portugal on 6th of June I realised I had been scammed of over £3200. The credit card company I used to make they payment can’t get in contact with them. The Hotel tried ringing several times with no reply. I had an accommodation voucher showing paid in full but quickly realised the money was gone and booking was cancelled. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

Hate even giving 1 star Deserve nothing When could get through, lied too told I would receive refund and never received Was to travel in April 2020. Understandly CoVID affected this. It was flight and hotel deal. Owed nearly €2,000 No option given had to accept PRCN - Protected Credit Note until March 2021, despite Ryanair notifying me that they had refunded Alpharooms over €1300 back in August 2020. Things happen and COVID is unprecedented but other retailers and holiday firms reacted in an honest and open manner Yesterday 1 hour 20 mins waiting on phone to get through but no answer. Another email sent that wil not be responded too. Only option left Small Claims Court Never ever use them. Can not even say services as you would need to be able to access a service for it to be a service. Like CoVID keep your distance from them

The only way to get satisfaction from your complaint is to take this company to the Small Claims Court. Its easy and can be done on line. I got my refund, court costs and interest.

In the same boat as everyone on this site! I’ve been completely turned off booking a holiday through any group online ever again, from what I can see companies can take your money and don’t have to pay you back!!! They are getting away with it! I’m waiting 13 months for a refund, of course to reply to my emails!!! Alpharooms are gangsters!!!

Alpha rooms and teletext owned by the same company Truly Holdings, They are still taking bookings and taking money, but not responding to phone calls, emails asking for my money back from 2000. They said a credit note will last for 12 months and if you didn’t book in this time you had to wait until the year was up and the you could have a refund, the holiday was booked for April 2000 , it will be 1st June tomorrow, I have phoned numerous times and they just fob you off with lies, I have filled in claim Form , but to no avail, Not even a response, Please don’t loose your money by booking with Alpha rooms or teletext, They are still advertising and taking bookings and money, I personally wouldn’t be surprised if they claimed bankruptcy,

A complete an utter shambles of an agency. Do not book anything with this company.!! I booked and paid for a holiday in February 2020 for April 2020 with them which was cancelled due to covid. They said I had to wait till last day in April 2021 for refund. Now they have completed stopped answering calls. May 25th 2021. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

Request a charge back from your bank, I did and within 48 hours I received a full refund. Alpha rooms woeful customer service. Waiting 14 months for a refund from alpha.

AVOID AVOID AVOID i wouldn't even give Alpha rooms 1 star. Waiting for a refund since may 2020. No reply to written complaints, When you call and finally get through after nearly and hour they say they are putting you on hold and then hang up. DISGRACEFUL. Have sought legal advise

Still waiting on a refund since May 2020. can not get through to these at all iv spent many hours on the phone and iv sent emails still no answer from them. I'm Irish so i dont know what else to do?? but this is pure robbery!!!!!!!!!!

Cannot get refund since last May for cancelled holiday for which initially a voucher was supplied and now cannot get my cash refund. Have sent numerous emails and messages through their website without success and have tried telephoning. Do not know where to go from here as I am an Irish Customer and the law varies from Ireland to England. I am 70 years old and cannot afford to be without this money but this company do not seem to care. Will never deal with them again, but I need this money back now.

When you book a room with free cancellation you expect your money back but they are asking 30% cost , even you have 6 months to trip...
