“Started holiday yesterday for 10 nights been out for day then tried to get into my room key wasn't working went to reception to be told that my hotel had been cancelled by alpha rooms no help what so ever got charged for last night then left stranded in a foreign country with no where to stay alpha rooms was no help on the phone just kept saying they will hang up if I carry on shouting why wouldn't I be shouting I was fuming do not use this joke of a company I will be taking them to court totally ruined holiday”

“Arrived at my hotel 2 days ago to be told it was cancelled 2 days previously. Absolutely no notice given to me. Still waiting for my call back on what I should do. Phone line, email, chat all just say the same, if they get back to you at all, that is it is being looked in to. No offer to find me another hotel or re-book the one I had booked!”

“I booked a holiday with alpha rooms in January 16th 2020 to stay at hotel in Athens in October 2020. The hotel in question had to close due to covid and even though they informed Alpharooms, the money was still taken from my account! Alpharooms, failed to tell me of the hotel closure and it was by pure chance that I was following the hotel on FB! Like everyone else, I was promised a refund, then told I had to wait 12 months before I could claim it, and was issued with a credit note until that time, even though I said I did not want one. Its now past 12 months and alpha rooms are now saying I have to wait again for a refund and and in the meantime have issued me with another credit note until December 2023!!! Such a joke! They are never going to refund me. They owe me £639. Im livid. They do not respond to emails, they are useless in customer support, I even wrote to the managing director and he didn't reply. They say they are a member of ABTA but if you search the company, they clearly aren't. Im at a loss. HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY GOT A REFUND.???”

“Stole my money from me and won't give it back to me . Customer service is non existent as nobody answers the phone .only way you can get to talk to someone is to pretend you want to make a new booking and they then tell you that they can't help you and they will "transfer " you . stay well away , you have been warned”

“Still waiting for refund since May 2020,alpharooms mostly ignore calls and email and when they do answer its nothing but lies,they have treated thousands of customers disgustingly, will never use them again”

“Myself and my friend (pensioners) travelled to Turkey, in August 21, we paid Alpharooms for transfer from Izmir airport to our hotel. We waited for over an hour for our transfere to arrive, it never arrived. We had to pay a taxi 35 euro to get us there. Once we were there we phoned and they lied told us that someone was there. We phoned the transport company who had never heard of us. We phoned Alpharooms again and the assured us the return transfere back to the airport would pick us up, it never arrived, this time we had to pay 50 euro for a taxi. When we arrived home I spent 3 days on the phone complaining and looking to be reimbursed. They told I would be reimbursed, I don’t hold much hope for our refund. I will never book with this company again which I consider extremely immoral and unreliable. BEWARE”

“I would give 0 stars if I could. They charge a hidden admin fee of £4.95 every time they make a payment (they actually don't show this when paying but have it hidden with their terms and conditions). If you paid a deposit, they'll charge you another £4.95 admin fee for the automated payment they intend to collect too! They also advertise a price for a holiday and after booking they then call you back to say they cannot honor that price and either you pay more or they will cancel and send a refund soon (no date given). But if you try to cancel the hotel, they charge you £30 per person!!”

“Do not book with this company booked hotel in Benidorm for party of 8 when we arrived at the hotel there was no booking when contacted alpha rooms they were not one bit helpful spent most of day on phone with them gettin g fobbed of in the end they offered us no help at all. Hotel was paid in full to alpha several month before and they said there supplier cancelled they had plenty of time to inform us but no. Had to go a search for a hotel ourself. If this was a family with young children it would have been a nightmare BEWARE not a reliable company”

“Cancelled holiday over a year ago still waiting on refund never again would use them or recommend to anyone.Very quick to take the money from you account but after sending over 15 requests for my money back they still haven't received refund.”

“The worst booking agent I’ve ever used, they have oversold me a product - for some background - I had a standard apartment and they said if I pay £204 more I can upgrade; which I did. I have then arrived at the resort to find that they never upgraded me. I have rang them 6 times to try and get sorted but they refused to help, I’ve told them to check the recorded calls - in which the agent agreed that I had actually paid to upgrade but because the booking confirmation isn’t right, there’s nothing they can do. I went through to complaints to try and get the issue resolved - they told me they’d get it sorted and call me back - in which 3 days later I haven’t received the call (after being told it would be 24hrs later) so now I’m not in the room I have been charged for - the hotel were amazing - they said all we need is an email from alpha rooms and we can sort everything out, Alpha rooms have flat out refused to do this!! They also cost £300 more than going to the hotel direct as well!!”

“No refund issued, different response every time I call them. Worst company I have ever dealt with will never use again. Just one big on going battle and they never send me an email confirmation as I request each time for the new goal post of when I should receive my refund”

“UPDATE TO MY LAST REVIEW! Spoke with Mike its gonne take another 8 weeks for my refund even though a year ago flights were refunded, the accounts department has to approve my refund and I have been told this since April, Its no September, How are people getting there money back?”

“I booked a hotel in June 2019 for Bulgaria May 2020 which was canceled due to covid so I accepted vouchers and rebooked for next May 2021 that also was canceled now those vouchers are expired since May 30th and they won't cash refund me they still insist on giving vouchers which I don't want I strongly advise never book with alpharooms they are gangsters they won't even Anseer the phone”

“I booked to go to Rhodes got confirmation email for flights and accommodation paid 900 pounds then got a email saying I was being managed now by teletext Holidays who.are alpharooms who say I have accommodation only since found out alpharooms have had money back from ryanair for flights but not refunding me shysters”
