“Bike Shed Model EBS-2308
The name ‘easyshed’ is a misnomer and assembling the shed is about as far from easy as you can get. This has been the most difficult and frustrating item I have ever assembled and it is physically demanding.
Criticisms
Prior to purchase there is no information informing you that all parts are not pre-drilled, you will have to drill all the holes yourself. Parts include 197 screws and 59 pop rivets, which will require you drilling holes through several layers of metal. Physically demanding! If you don’t have a pop rivet gun you will have to buy one.
Tools listed as required included a step ladder, I don’t know why, and failed to list 4-5mm spacers and duct tape. Also essential and not listed is an impact driver for inserting the screws, or another power drill with a torque control, otherwise you will have blisters using a hand screwdriver.
The instructions listed all parts and part numbers, which should have been printed onto each part. Some parts had the number printed clearly, some had an unintelligible number and some had no number.
Front, back, sides and roof panel dimensions should match the corresponding U channels dimensions. They didn’t always resulting in struggling to get parts matched up prior to screwing together.
When fitting the internal door slide bolt the overhang dimension is wrong and then fitting the hasp is physically impossible till later in the assembly.
When assembled the doors sag and there is no way this can be prevented, so the door slide bolt and hasp previously fitted do not line up.
Positioning the roof hinges to the back top rail in the positions indicated in the diagram is not possible as these areas have protruding screw heads.
Assembly time took me into a 3rd day.
I cannot recommend anyone buying this product and if I could give it a zero rating I would.”

The worst shed I have ever seen. It's so tough to assemble. Instructions were completely vague! No sign, no marks. That is just terrible.”
“The term Easyshed is a misnomer, the opposite is really the case. The instructions are difficult to follow and because I am not a handy person I had someone from Airtasker come to put it all together and he had a lot of difficulty both in following the instructions and putting it all together, he spent many hours working on it before the job was completed, it entailed a lot of wrestling and forcing parts together. The end result was far from perfect despite many hours of hard work and great effort to put it all together, spanning over 3 whole days. I wish I never bought this shed. It was a big mistake which I very much regret.”

sheets were cut wrong size, its a real pain to try and get it straight. Its a lot of work to put together. A lot of wrestling and forcing parts together. Its a shame. I wish I never bought this shed. I took mine to the Tip I am that unhappy with it. It shouldn't have to be like this.”
“Most flimsy piece of [Content Removed]!! Purchased in October:( Frames bent and would not hold straight to put up. Had to go and buy extra top hat and had to build extra supports to support it. Build directions are awful and that is once we received the shed. Came damaged to start with and that was an effort and a half to fix.”
“I ordered a shed from this company on Saturday. Monday I receive an email stating my shed would be ready in 8 weeks, although the website states sheds are manufactured in 3-5 days and as for shipping allow up to 15 days. Not to tell a customer the 'real' time is unethical. I then tried to cancel my order, less than 24 hours after the order was placed and certainly well before my order was sent to be manufactured. Instead of cancelling my order and providing a refund (which I asked for, 9 times), I am bombarded with emails with different delivery dates, trying to bribe me with free gifts and just down right ignorance when it come to requesting a refund. I even went higher and emailed the CEO but no response. The time they have taken to agree to provide my refund, which they legally must do, is just wrong. They get you to write a great review when you order and then the trouble starts. Do not believe they have these great ratings because those reviews are before the trouble with this company starts.”
“Don't waste your money on Easy Shed.
My son purchased a 3x3 shed 3 months ago and it is still not built! Missing sheets, wrong sheets, poorly fitting sheets the list goes on and on. He now has to go to Fair Trading.
I bought a 3x3 Asbsco shed and it was built in a day by 2 people ..... cheaper & better, IMO.”
“Incorrect delivery information provided - not dispatched or delivered within advertised time frames. Waiting on shed delivery for weeks now, Easyshed don't return phone calls. They say courier is actually 10-14 business days from date of dispatch, which wasn't until 2 weeks until after we actually ordered - so potentially 5 weeks. But who knows when it will actually get here. Super frustrating as we can't progress our landscaping until it arrives - have trades waiting. Do not use these guys, not worth it.”

“This was a complete nightmare of a purchase and I am regretting it.
It is not easy to put up, extremely difficult.
Arrived without the concrete anchors and staff just told me to look in the box... I already did that... so again too much back and forth email with dismissive customer service support.
Importantly, I got a text from the delivery driver, poaching work from me to assemble the shed... Apparently he is not an employee of Easy Shed. I was quite upset and sent the texts to Easy Shed. They told me a different driver would be delivering my item, but no, that did not happen.
This company has compromised our safety in the situation where a delivery person was pressuring me into hiring him,a nd they were very dismissive about it.
I have no confidence in the company, and looking at the shed and how it is assembled right now, not much in the product. It's costing a lot more than I paid in addition now to sort it all out.
Extremely disappointed.”
“I am totally frustrated with this company… l paid for and ordered a shed on 27 th Oct here l am …30 th Dec after me calling them 4 times after the 2 week mark…and being told that my shed had been picked up but was still sitting at the depot… Dexter assured me that he would look into it and l never heard back …nothing was being done about it. So today l rang again and again after each of my calls.. same answer ‘it’s still in the depot and we don’t know why’… we’ll look into it….. nothing happens, l recieve no phone call… So again l ring each phone line there is no answer other than check out the website for the answers to your query or send an email!!!! I decide the only way to get through to a person was to make believe l was buying a new big shed… perhaps they will pick up for a new big sale!!!!!! Yes that is how it happened and right now l have been on the for 30 mins while l keep pushing them to investigate why my shed is still in the depot.”

I recently purchased an easy shed as an aviary to house my 14y/o parrot. Setup was very difficult and materials scratched easily. 2 days later the shed blew over and my parrot escaped. Winds were no more than 30km/h at this time.”

Parts of 3 different sheds turned up 4 weeks after they were meant to and all the communication, I had with easy shed was useless, they were rude and unhelpful.
After 12 months of trying to get it sorted and having no shed, I ended up taking all the odd pieces I was sent to the dump and went to bunnings and got a shed that was pretty much the same size for the same money. I lost money, I Know, but what else was I to do. I needed a shed and easyshed were useless. They had my money, and I had no shed. Please read all these reviews, the reviews on the easyshed website themselves i would not trust.”

The shed didn’t turn up on the advised delivery date and went missing for a week!
Then after opening the boxes to assemble the shed we found most of the sheets damaged.
Dents, splits and scratches on most sheets.
After contacting them to advise of this I was told by Easyshed that they knowingly send out damaged shed sheets as usually the capping will cover it, but it doesn’t!
I have been trying to organise a return and refund for over a week and after numerous calls and emails, still no one in management has bothered getting back to me.
Zero after sales support!
Save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere as this company is a complete rip-off.”
“For starters i bought this shed 12mths ago and never put it together. I guess i must have know something. I has been a nightmare nothing fits it is 65mm shorter than they state in in the useless instructions. They have hardly any tags on the parts no numbers on the panels at all, so it is up to you to workout which one goes were. Nothing is pre drilled no measurements in the instructions. 2 days and i am to where the front doors are to big to fit into the door jam. It looks like i may have to cut the panels down to make the door fit. I have never seen anything made this bad. I rang them and they had no one that works there that knows how to make the sheds up. So they gave me a number of a company that said they can make it up for $600 . and was not interested in helping me just wanted money to build it. This company is terrible STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Easy Shed hardly easy.”
“I usually don't give reviews but they are one of the worst company I have dealt with and I don't want other to have to go through the same experience. I wish I read the reviews before buying from them. I bought sheds from Bunnings in the past, at much cheaper price with great customer service. I went with them this time because they had a shed with the dimensions I wanted
Once they take your money, there is no customer service. When you manage to get through, it's someone from overseas who has no records of your purchase. I can't go in details as it will bring up too much anxiety. The shed I paid nearly $1000 for is still sitting in my veranda. Please avoid this company !”
“Easy Shed site offers "Free Delivery in metro area" Any suburb I type into their delivery tracker shows $99 delivery fee. They couldnt provide any suburb names that receive free delivery. Even the suburb they are located in charges for delivery. False advertising.”
“This is the absolute worst company to deal with. I won’t go into detail about the amount of trouble I had with them as I’d be here all day. I will simply say, the customer service is non existent, once they have your money you are left hanging. Don’t expect your shed to arrive when they say and pray they e packed all the parts required for assembly. The quality of the shed is average and difficult to assemble (just look on Airtasker for the number of people asking for help to assemble their Easy Shed.
If you are thinking of purchasing from them, DONT. Pay the extra money to another company. I wish I had.”
“I bought this from Easyshed website and engaged a builder to install it. Unfortunately, I engaged the builder after I had placed the order online. He warned me that in his experience, Easyshed will always forget some components. Lo and behold, they forgot a couple of critical components. It took them a fair bit of time and follow ups to organise replacements. They maintain little to no track record of previous issues, so every tme you call them, you have to go through the process of explaining the issue, urgency. This required the builder to come twice and he charged me extra monies to do so. Their delivery company is another piece of work. Agreed on a delivery date, I called a day in advance and they confirmed it is coming through. Next day, it does not show up - comes late.
Once installed - it blew away in a few weeks. This was installed for a house that I had put on the market to sell. The buyer insisted that I get a like for like replacement. Left with no option, I ordered it again, and this time, the delivery company called me in advance to tell me - they had damaged the delivery. I was on phone again with Easyshed, who said, you must take delivery and fill out the form to tell us which components have been damaged and they will organise replacements. I provided photos, which I understood were also provided to them by the delivery company, still refuse to replace anything until I take delivery and confirm all issues at one go. I asked them to organise disposal of the damaged pieces, which they flatly refused. I stopped talking to them, as it was causing me so much agony and stress. All with the settlement date approaching. I paid monies through the builder to get replacements organised myself and dispose off the old damaged shed and replace alternate parts. They had a 100% rate of a horrid experiences with me. I strongly recommend - stay away from them. I spent close to $5,000 with them for two garages, both - gave me grief. I write this review to warn people to stay away.
As an update - after posting the review I received a call from Easyshed. The caller attempted to understand the experience and offered $400 as compensation and suggested that I change my review. This I flatly refused. They tried to convince me that this not the experience that most people have with them. Regardless of what they feel about it, I bought two sheds from them and had poor experience both times. I am not even getting into the quality of their sheds and design, as I don't want to get into a technical issue on design - as I am not qualified enough for it. They also seemed to suggest it is not their policy to insist that customers shoulder the responsibility of disposal of damaged items. Policy or not, that is exactly what I was told. Frankly, the call just made me feel like an attempt to offer compensation because I wrote the review and they perhaps were willing to offer me compensation with a request that I amend my review (it was not a pre condition to compensation, but a suggestion of quid-pro-quo).”
