Dreadful company. My holiday got cancelled in view of the corona virus and they refuse to give me my money back. They expect you to rebook with inflated prices and will not reduce their fees. They expect more money to rebook and end of the day who knows whether we can travel within the next 12 months as we may still be on lockdown. Again they will have the benefit of more money from us. Customer service is poor. I’m due to go away tomorrow and only today I got a response to my message a week ago. They never answer their phones. I will never use them again.

Due to coronavirus I tried to rearrange holiday but they wanted £80 more for the same holiday next year and £35 administration. As I was within 90 days I cancelled but my low deposit £20 Was raised to £125 in total! How can this be right never will I book Hoseasons again lost my custom forever.

Sadly this long running company with a previously good rating will send itself under by trying to stay afloat by retaining everyones money and inflating the prices to rebook. They will find peoples loyalty will disappear after such poor treatment and return visitors will not return. People would rather lose their money than line Hoseasons pockets once this crisis has passed. Good luck Hoseasons, you'll be on your own

Hoseasons trying to rip people off, insisting they pay in full for holidays or lose deposits, months in advance, when they are aware it is unlikely that sites will be open owing to coronavirus, sending threatening e-mails yet not giving customers opportunity to contact them. My advice is boycott these money-grabbers.

Had a really good deal with hoseasons for a week cabin with hot tub at Isle of Wight. Despite our holiday cut short (but we took the risk in going) Absolutely chuffed with hoseasons customer service. Went to Isle of Wight on the 21st March but got told to go back home 3 days later. But after 40 mins on hold got told we'd get 166 out of 291 of our holiday refunded deducting the cost of 2 nights that we was there. Really pleased with the service would be a loyal customer and book with them again.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Another family being refused a refund following to the COVID-19 restrictions on travel. To book the same holiday next year is £300 more! Which is not as high as the increase other people are facing! How is this justified? The credit is valid 12 months from when your holiday was meant to take place, this doesn’t even consider how long the COVID-19 restrictions are to be in place for, so how can the clock be ticking against using the credit when you physically can’t book before June?! Their whole attitude is disgusting from start to finish and they are exploiting their innocent customers.

I'm one of thousands of Hoseasons customers robbed of their hard earned money. My booking is also in the period at risk of coronavirus, but I have been told i will lose 50% of my £989 holiday if I cancel. But I'm not cancelling - I cannot get there due to the unnecessary travel involved, my cottage is fully booked now until October. I have booked numerous cottages for over 16 years, but I won't book another one if I am going to worry about being ripped off. Hoseasons / Cottages.com - you are damaging your clients future business more than the Coronavirus will ever do. Because you haven't just lost thousands of customers, but each of them will warn friends / family not to trust you with their money.

Hoseasons will not give my money back ,offered an alternative date which I cannot do as we cannot get the same time off again together. The response to this was half you group go on one break and the other go on another date. LAUGHABLE.In their terms and conditions number 27 section B3 article D they state you can receive a refund if THEY cancel you booking which is of course what has happened.The lady who took my call even admitted that Virus or no Virus they can cancel your holiday and keep your money if they feel like it.You may think i'm taking that out of context but that is what i was told.Everyone in the same situation as me please don't give up ,they hope you will in which case they win .I realise this is not their fault but they need to show compassion to their hard working customers that may only get one holiday every couple of years and REFUND us all ASAP.

Disgusting when there's a crisis they shut and keep your money saying re-book. Will not be able to afford it when they increase their prices to profit further from this awful situation!@Hoseasons

Disgusted a refund is not being offered. We have not cancelled our holiday, they have. Every other caravan park company are offering refunds but Hoseasons are not. Just expect you to book another holiday next year which costs £500 more for the same holiday. Will not be using them again. No-one should be profiting from this terrible situation.

Hang your head in shame hoseseasons for not given your customers a refund due to the closure of site as a result of Covid-19. My family can not afford an additional £1000 to visit at a later date. Terrible service and will be remembered.

Hoseasons closed the park due to COVID - 19. I asked for refund as couldn't book any future dates with them (as i don't have a crystal ball) and automatically told that they cannot offer refunds, before checking I had bought the cancellation insurance policy!! Robbing company, please use your head and DO NOT BOOK WITH HOSEASONS - very poor customer service with no compassion for its customers.

Holiday cancelled due to covid19, not a issue, however the issue is the fact they will not offer a refund even though I have explained I am only here visiting and once the borders open up I will leaving so therefore cannot rebook a new date as I will not be returning in the next 12 months, oh yeah and prob pay more money for new dates if the holiday is more expensive. So basically money down the drain. I would of thought in these strange times they would be more open to listen to people's predicaments rather than just keep their money.

Terrible terrible customer service. They cancel the holiday and then offer to move it but it could cost more than the initial holiday. Cannot just re book whenever as my wife is a key worker and has to book outside of term time etc. so its looks likely we are going to lose the money and this is money that my wife's father left after he lost his fight with cancer last year to take our kids away as a gift from him. My wife is in bits over this so thank you hoseasons for being a considerate, kind and understanding company (just in case Harry you don't get it this is sarcastic).

Hoseasons won’t refund even though I haven’t cancelled they closed the forest lodge . Ive spoken to my insurance Barclays travel pack run by Aviva but they say get a refund from hoseasons or try your credit card under section 75 which they won’t do . Plus you need evidence . Hoseasons have to say they’ve cancelled your holiday - they don’t !! Credit card won’t provide written confirmation of no section 75 cover they say it’s on the website so no written proof to give insurance so they can process the claim . Come on hoseasons this is morally wrong . Give us a refund or face the wrath of the British people we have long memories.

Surely what Hoseasons is doing must be illegal, we have all purchased holidays which cannot be provided, the only thing that customers want is a full refund, if Hoseasons were offering a refund I am sure after the current situation has passed many customers would rebook but as it stands nobody will book with Hoseasons ever again and they will go under. Come on Hoseasons do the right thing and give customers their hard earned money back!

Why are you just replying the same answer that you can't give a refund. Had replies from Harry, George and Tom stop adding a new name to the responses next it will be Susan, Joanne and Eric just deal with it the correct way and apply the refund
