With exclusive prints, finishing touches and quirky little extra details, Joules always turns heads and wins hearts.We started in 1980 at county shows selling country clothes. So outdoor living and British traditions are double stitched into the Joules brand. In 1999 we started the Joules own brand, and the pitter patter of our kids’ range arrived in Spring 2005, these days known as Little Joule.

“You buy from on line Joules site an item listed from Friends of Joules you dont see that companies condition of sale and when things go wrong joules send you a set of their conditions of sale stating it's nothing to do with them What a shabby company.”

“Brought wellies and they leak after 5 months. Joules are not interested in the issue. They are not wellies to be worn in the rain and mud! Very disappointed.”

“Sorry to say I have had a very bad experience with wellington of late. I have bought three pairs for family and every pair has spilt within 6 months and some with very little wear at all.”

“Jules jacket purchased. Good quality but I fell and broke a button and as there are no spare buttons given with the jacket I required a replacement which Jules could not give. I find this absolutely shocking as the jacket looks awful with a broken button which reflects on the business. Why could they not get a button or give me a contact number to acquire one???”

“Went into Horsham store today with my husband to pick up clothes ordered for him. Clothes were there and my husband decided to try them on to ensure all was well. Unfortunately, we had ordered one size too big for two of the items. We were very disappointed but Penny, who worked in the Horsham store, was just incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, and she managed to sort everything out for us. We were really happy with the outcome, but most of all with the fab service we received. Thank you.”

“Recent purchases from joules have not lived up to expectations with regard to quality; I have started to return more than I keep. Their price point has never been the cheapest but this felt ok as the quality and choice made the extra cost worthwhile, this seems to no longer be the case either. Disappointing, starting to entertain the idea of shopping eslewhere which is a shame; they used to be my 'go-to' on-line store of choice. Not any more.”

“Suppose I should have read these reviews before ordering from Joules. I bought two pairs of boots that ended up being too big so I asked to return. They sent shipping labels promptly which I was happy about. HOWEVER, it’s been over a month and my money was never refunded. They say it’s a bank problem but my bank assured me it is not. I have NEVER had any problems returning anything online so all fingers point to Joules. I’m out $186CAD.”

“Joules in Scotland first of all in Perth and in Stirling they do not sell anything at all in a size 20 that’s classed as to big. I am very upset at that and I think that’s really bad that people who are that size are made to feel bad. I know on line they sell that size and in the Edinburgh store which is the best store I have ever been to. I was made to feel bad today from Stirling and Perth because they don’t sell a size 20.”

“I thought I'd wait to finally complete my long-running refund from Joules, then write a review BUT I'M STILL WAITING. It's been a month: countless emails carrying photos and scans of receipts, and now phone calls to them just because I didn't want to give THEM my phone number. -- All for £11.95. They certainly like to keep the reins and run poor customers around in circles. I will never darken their doors again or order online.”

“Ordered a top as a present for my sisters birthday, The day I should have been collecting it from store, I received an email saying they were unable to fulfill my order. As a way of apology they offered free next day delivery on a replacement order if I contacted customer service. When I did this, customer service were having issues with payments so were unable to process my order. They suggested I called back the following day, which would then make my sisters birthday present two days late! Such a shame as I've always loved Joules clothing but this has definitely put me off shopping with them in future. Very disappointed customer and sister.”

“I bought a raincoat a year ago, but because of the fine summer didn't wear it much. It was clearly labelled breathable, but I found it wasn't when I wore it a couple of weeks ago, and arrived for a lunch date bathed in sweat. Joules sent me a free returns label and reimbursed the full cost (I had the receipt) despite the age of the jacket. Clearly it was mis-sold in the first place but I am impressed by their no quibble refund.”
