Another Micky Mouse company did not pick up parcel. Best way is to see who they use i.e. DPD and go straight to their site it is cheaper and you cut out the middleman(Mr Micky Mouse). Then if you have a problem you can deal with the organ grinder not his monkey. Other trick is always pay witth PayPal and get your money back quickl”
“Sent a parcel in September (Using the measurements on the side of the box)
A month later I received an invoice from ParcelHero demanding £130 as the item was oversized (It was only within the UK and originally £50), the only way they would allow me to dispute would be to send them photos of the parcel, which of course is not possible for me to do as I've sent the parcel!
My measurement is 145cm in length, they insist it's 148cm which is obscured, it's cardboard, it could easily be distorted to take those measurements.
I have asked them for proof of this measurement (They've requested an image from me, so i've simply requested the same)
I've been talking to them for several months back and forth and they're very evasive when I request proof. The same for how they arrive at the figure. They even tried telling me they are charging more because of christmas...In september?
Now if my parcel was incorrectly sized, then I will of course pay the fee, but I cannot help but feel i'm being extorted here. They can just charge any value, and provide no proof that I owe this?
I'm refusing to pay this invoice until they can provide me with proof that I owe it, regardless of their terms and conditions you cannot charge a customer without holding proof that your customer has been in receipt of the goods/ service for which the charge is for.
My advice is to not use parcelHero in the first place, but if you do, use paypal, and after purchase, immediately remove their ability to take future payments from your account (Something they will do, without warning or request)”
“what a find, do a bit of ebaying and often lose out on postage as I havent got it quite right. tried this for the first time as i had a heavy parcel and got a great price, got it picked up from my door and it was delivered in time. Fab service”
