“For some reason your system has again changed the recipients address, to an incorrect area. Please co tact me before collecting or I am going to cancel.”
“Came across parcelhero by following a link on the returns page for a heavy item I needed to return. All seemed good and I chose a FedEx option with a drop of point given about 4 miles from me. Packed the parcel up, paid the fee and attached the downloaded returns label and lugged the hefty item into the given drop-off store only to be told nr the store holder that they only take incoming deliveries from FedEx and not outgoing and anyway my package would have been too big for them!
So off I go home to cancel my FedEx drop off and try again. What a waste of time and why give s location as s drop-off if it doesn’t take in packages - useless!bresorted to good old Parcelforce!”
“The booking online was quite easy and we printed off the labels with no problem.
But the problem was when we took it to the pickup place they didn’t recognise the barcode. We tried 3 times then as I was leaving the country I had to cancel the order, and pay a £6.00 cancellation fee. I’m not happy about that as I did everything correctly. I can’t upload the picture below which is the failed delivery notice as your website won’t accept it.”
“Parcelhero is easy to use. But UPS collection service is bad, the person who collects in our area is a lazy person who told us to send the parcel ourselves as he is busy. To cut long story short, when he arrived to collect, he wants us to bring the parcel down to meet him as he has a lot of things to do. So if you have any reasons that you're not able to move (injuries or older people), not a good option.”
“I was having difficulty finding a suitable carrier until I came across ParcelHero. The online process was straightforward, a courier arrived the next day to collect my three large parcels and they arrived the next day at the intended residential address all intact. Very pleased with the service and the cost was reasonable.”
“The pick up and delivery were fine but giving a window of 9am-5.30 was asking a lot of my mother in law to stay in my house all day. I thought that I’ll change the address to hers that’s a couple of streets away (2 mins after booking) but your system wouldn’t allow me. A bit old fashioned and pant’s really!”
“Provided the wrong trading times for the post office I had chosen to drop the parcel off. This wasted my time as it was closed despite it stating it was open.”
“I paid for my parcel to be collected from my house, but the person collecting never turned up. Had to take it the following day to a drop off shop. (A 17 mile round trip.) Not happy with this as I had paid for this service.
The parcel got to it's destination speedily, but the person delivering it left it in their "safe space" when they were in. They did not attempt to contact my customer at all.
Not the best of services I think.”
“parcel was returned to me 2 days later, because an old label from years ago was left on, and it went to that address instead, even though the brand new label was on the parcel”
“I was frustrated to find I could not get a bar code for printing later. I had to print at home. As our computer is ancient this was a lengthy process.
I did get an email to let me know delivery had taken place - which is very good.”
“It made me happy by allowing me to enter the relevant dimensions and weight of an awkward sized box, took me to Parcel Force; booked, paid, collected, and delivered promptly. The downside was the cost. Using Parcel Hero cost me £85.45 as opposed to the £67 it would have cost by booking it directly on the Parcel Force site. My mistake!”
“Happy with every aspect apart from the rude member of staff who spoke to my Mum when she was dropping the parcel at the shop. His customer service was non existent, he was unhelpful, rude and I would never select that store in future as an Evri partner. Otherwise, the price, the time and the delivery lady at who got my parcel back to me was all spot on.”
“The drop off point I selected for a Sunday drop off, no longer accepts parcels for parcel force, which caused me a problem, as I had to take time out of my busy schedule on Monday, to take it to a post office.”
“The incorrect address was given to me, so I spent two hours trying to find the relevant shop. Eventually was given the correct address. Otherwise not a bad experience.”
