“After a month of no updates but my parcel was waiting at my local depot, I requested an update and spoke to a James Preston at loss and damages, my question was completely ignored and I got this response;
" Dear Tom,
I’m really sorry to hear about your lost parcel, though I am afraid, as your parcel has not received a scan in the last 10 days, your chosen carrier Hermes has already considered this item as lost. "
I never chose Hermes as a carrier, and purchased £250 worth of insurance. And also I was told that all they could do is £15 CREDIT.
Easily one of the worst courier services i wish I never used. Please do not use these carriers if your item is limited or precious cause they do not care about your items, service, money or time. But at least they are "really sorry".

“Taken two months to try and resolve a damaged parcel, still no resolution but have received an invoice for another £120.00 for what I’m not sure!? Poor service, poor communication as only prompted when chasing. Avoid like the plague.”
“Extremely disappointed. I sent a very expensive Juergen Gorg print which I had put art tape across the glass and fragile tape, then wrapped the print in 10 meters of bubble wrap very well taped and then put the print in a picture box and covered it in masses of ‘fragile’ tape. So you be the judge of whether or not I had packed it well enough? It arrived damaged. I know I had done the very best job packing it for shipment and it took 1/2 hour to do this. The exterior had a big hole where something had impacted and caused stress on the glass. The recipient has sent me serval images.
I’m now being told that pictures are excluded from compensation. This is just rubbish because who are they to say I didn’t pack it sufficiently when i did. I spent £10.25 on a box, Bobble wrap and ‘fragile’ tape as well as paying £10 for the courier.
It is obvious the damage happened during transit and this was caused by neglect and the delivery courier totally disregarding the blatant ‘fragile’ tape. It’s like they wanted it to arrive damaged
I’m being told I can get a £15 to dorms on future deliveries but this is a cop out.
If there had been a zero rating that is what I would have given.

“Very upset in the rough handling in transit by the carrier (ParcelForce) which resulted in the contents of my parcel being delivered damaged. ParcelHero investigated my claim and refused it, stating that it had inadequate packaging which I totally disagree with. The contents were wrapped well and the box was designed to transport that type of item. Loads of tape was used to secure it but you can only do so much to protect a package before it is entrusted to the carrier.”

“Good price, good communication about collection which was made according to the time slot allocated. Printing labels and collection notes was simple and the collection driver was polite and efficient. I was notified when the delivery was made. All in all a simple, straightforward procedure which I would happily use in future.”
