The black super soft towel I bought for £8 is awful. I washed it before use and its shedding great big lumps of fibres. Its in the bin. Tho the staff at my local prinark are great

I recently went to Primark in Hanover, MD, and I was not pleased with the customer service on the floor. The employees were talking to each other instead of assisting me. I had to go to multiple people to find one coat. It was a very unpleasant experience and I will not be shopping there again.

Down market fashion stores .Service is more like a supermarket than a department store. Plenty of quest the tills . Caters for those wanting cheap and cheerful fashion and who don't care where it's produced , by whom or with what . Very popular with those on a tight budget and who don't do classic or favour quantity over quality . Not my cup of tea at all . It's definitely a marmite sort of shop - you either love it or hate it .

Is it possible for Primark to improve the quality of their clothing since all have increased in price some ladies clothing won't last a few washes before they start coming apart I'd rather shop some where else where the quality is better.

I am shocked by the way I had my experience I am a primark loyalist for 8 years to 9 years I have been in Edinburgh and Birmingham I also do Zara and Mark&Spencer but I am recovering from sickness and trying to get back to work but I am purchasing in Primark Hounslow and primark Richmond primark white city different demands in uniform so travel to any location its available recently I purchased somethings worth£40.25 or something from which I tried the leggings and which didn't fit so I bought something again and after 3days exchanged it yesterday when I tried the trousers 18 size wouldn't fit me so I had bought 20 size I went for work so I bought 2 size 20 2 size 18 I went to exchange it just now the tags are there because I threw the waste and accidentally my receipt anyway I told the lady that I lost my receipt the tags are there my card is there I purchased from Primark she told me I don't evidence you purchased it from the branch oh my god I was embarrassed with the situation they said bring the receipt for the evidence for the purchase my bank details I think its enough for my evidence and only one week to the purchase the supervisor and the staff made me feel so guilty for gaining weight and not getting my right size the time of the purchase and making a exchange with out receipt they said company doesn't save records of customers purchasing primark Hounslow losing its value

Got the items, then joined a long queue with 4 tills open. The queue got longer so they closed two of the tills!! A number of customers got fed up with the long wait so just decided not to wait any longer and left without buying anything. We waited circa 22 mins in the queue!!! Plenty of staff and what appeared to be "managers" around but no one went onto the tills. First time back in the store for over two years. We won't bother going again.

Exchange policy for lost reciept is ridiculous , exchanging an item unworn with tags for another item is no loss for primark . Except I won’t be buying from there again. So there s your loss. If they at least offered an email reciept as back up they would have a leg to stand on with their draconian refund policy .

Prices very deceiving … the price on tag is never the right one on the receipt. This needs to be looked into .. I compared the price on clothes and receipt and total came to $16.50 more on receipt!!

Just went to buy a shirt in Primark in Darlington. There were about 40 shirts on the display but everyone I picked was slim fit. In fact there were only about 5 regular fit shirts and the one I liked, I couldn't find my neck size. Primark used to have decent men,s clothing, but now almost everything is slim fit, presumably aimed at the younger members of society. I always used to shop in Primark but in future will buy my clothes elsewhere where they have a decent selection of regular fit clothes.

Went to Primark in Darlington to buy a shirt today. There were about 40 on the display, but every one I liked was slim fit. There were only about 5 regular fit shirts and the one I picked didn't have my neck size. Primark used to have an excellent variety of men's clothing but now almost everything is slim fit. Is this a change in marketing strategy? It seems that the majority of men's clothing is now aimed at the younger members of society. I always used to buy my clothes at Primark, but will shop elsewhere in future.

I recently purchased several sets of underwear, knickers to be exact. Style, shorts, I was sorry I did so.. Wearing them to work, not a good idea, I had to visit the loo on several occasions to pull them up, they seem to have 0% elasticity I'm them... Not convenient in the least. I understand that they did not cost as much as other retailers but not fit for purpose. Sizing seems to be a problem as well, I'm a standard size 12, the trousers i bought, well may fit if, I'm a 10 and that includes a pair with an elastic waste band. The only thing I am happy with us a bathroom mat..I will in future NOT be shopping at Primark.. I do not enjoy wasting my hard earned cash.

Not impressed with the service I received in Brighton today. I was told by a member of staff on the customer service team that I was unable to exchange without a receipt . Even though all the clothes had tags on and were unworn. When did this policy change . As previously this has been allowed. I was spokento quite rudely

Terrible Carrier bags. They rip in 0.2 seconds. Not worth buying anything as it will most likely drop out of the bag before you get home!

I had purchased some boots for work which were not suitable but unfortunately I misplaced the receipt. I did however have 5 transactions in the space of a month totalling to £250 on my internet banking mobile app. The customer service rep left me standing for 25 minutes whilst "a manger" tried to locate the transactions via dates on a computer system downstairs. I was on my tea break and ran over the allocated time for this so I asked for the manager to stop searching and come up and see me. She had to be called several times over the tanoy. She refused to refund me the money as she stated she couldn't find those transactions with my card number on any of those dates. I only have the one debit card, so it would not have been via any other payment, but she(the manager) wasn't interested and was very rude. I left the store and am now stuck with a pair of boots that are of NO use to me what so ever. This was very poor customer service form a manager whom I feel should have been more professional in the way she dealt with the matter, I was made to feel like I had stolen the boots. I will never go into this store again. it was the Crawley store in County Mall

I bought an underwear from Primark marble arch but it was the wrong size. I discovered this on my way to home then I went back witin an hour from my purchase time to exchange it. They treated me like if I stole it. I had a very bad experience there .
