In these times of buying items online, do not buy from them. Ordered an office chair and 3 weeks after i haven't received it or even received an acknowledgement from them. I finally spoke to someone in customer services and i have been told to wait for another 48 hours with no resolution. DO NOT buy anything from this company. STAY AWAY FROM RYMAN

Awful service! Company lists items for sale that are not available, blaming their "trusted suppliers", and instead of resolving issues, customer services simply attempt to prolong holding on to the paid amount. Bought an office chair on 3rd of May and still not delivered. Being patient and thoughtful of CV-19 challenges, waited 10 days for a dispatch before escalating. Was asked to wait 4 more days. In 5 days chased again and was asked to give another 72 hrs. Gave them 96 hours before asking again and they stopped replying to emails. Requested a refund and still no response. Absolutely disappointed as mistakenly thought of Ryman being a trusted brand. Will never use Ryman again.

Order is late, and they seem impossible to contact with email bouncing back and online customer service chat saying your not connected all the time. Will try to get a refund and avoid in the future.

I ordered lots of really useful boxes, but only half were sent out and delivered. Although Ryman were at fault, I was made to complete a missing order form, which they lost. After 4 phone calls and a wait of 14 days, I was refunded because the items had never been in stock, hence why they were not sent initially. It took 14 days to credit me (£126), by which time the full amount was payable on my credit card, so I will have to pay and not get my money back for one month. To make matters worse, the items are not showing as out of stock on the website, so this fiasco can continue to happen to anyone who tries to order the same size of box. Ryman do not respond to their emails and online forms, they fob you off when you phone and despite asking, I have not received a written apology nor compensation. Needless to say I took my custom to a rival, who delivered the items in perfect condition in less than 24 hours for the same price. My advice is to avoid Ryman with a very long barge pole.

I ordered a printer on Jan 23 that was supposed to arrive in 3 days. After over a week I emailed and asked for an update and was told that on the website it said orders could take up to 15 days, no apology. After 15 days I emailed again and this time someone said they would look into it and get back to me. Didn’t hear anything so I rang on Feb 11 and was told that all they could do was email the supplier and that’s why there hadn’t been a response. The support staff can’t ring them? Very odd. So I complained and was told that my order had been escalated and I would hear from a manager. 48 hours later and I have not heard anything so now I have been on the phone for nearly 20 minutes while I wait for this order to be cancelled. I’m sure getting a refund will be equally painful. I will most definitely never order from Ryman again but will go to Printerland that has over 40 of the printer I want in stock and I can get a delivery in a couple of days. Very poor service Ryman.

I'm incredibly disappointed with Ryman. I was led to believe they were one of the better office equipment providers and ordered a filing cabinet on January 10th. This arrived on January 13th with a large dent in the side, so I requested a replacement. Ryman scheduled in the collection for Friday 17th so I took the day off work to make sure I was in for this. Nobody from Ryman showed up, despite me chasing it and being told via their online chat that it will be collected on Friday. It is now Monday 20th January. 10 days after my initial order and I still don't have a replacement and am still £44.99 out of pocket having taken, so far, 2 days off work for this. Talking to the online help again this morning, I'm being told that they can now collect tomorrow but a replacement will be issued on yet another day. This is a further 2 days off work that I can't afford to keep taking. Instead I've requested a refund. I've made a formal complaint to Ryman and will not be using this service again

Ordered a crayola table and chairs for my 3 yr old granddaughter for Xmas, it arrived in October but unfortunately I didn’t open it until Christmas, and then it wasn’t taken out of the pack to assemble it until the new year. Unfortunately a few panels were damaged, but due to the date of purchase Ryman’s were very unhelpful regarding exchanging or refunding the cost despite sending photos. . They would only offer a £5 gesture of goodwill. My fault I suppose for trusting that the quality would be ok. Very poor customer service Especially for Christmas gifts. Most companies extend the guarantee over the Christmas period, stay clear of Ryman online ordering.

Customer service and returns are an absolute disaster. Its taken me 3 month of back and forth and I am still waiting for a refund on a piece of tat filing cabinet they sold me. Their errors are too long to list, just DO NOT USE

Have always bought paper from Ryman as I can’t seem to find narrow ruled paper anywhere else. This time the price seems to have gone up massively and the quality down completely! It’s the worst paper I’ve ever used- so thin, rips instead of pulling from the binder, it’s just awful!! Paper is not something that could usually make me so angry but Jesus, I’ve just paid an extortionate price for something that literally infuriates me every time I use it!!

Terrible customer service! Ordered a number of items on Saturday 14th September. Arrival date scheduled for Tuesday 17th. By 8pm, no delivery. Tracked order with FedEx and said there was a problem and to call them. Office was closed so called following morning. Said package was damaged so they would get supervisor Caroline Colclough to call me back within 2 hrs. 3 hrs later still waiting. Called back was told I had to call Rymans to sort it out. Called Rymans at around 12:30pm on Wednesday 18th September. Spoke to Vicky who reassured me my order would DEFINITELY be received the following day. She would personally call Admin and make sure it went out as I was in time for next day delivery. She told me to look out for an email which should come through later that day. I felt reassured. But then, no email. So I now call back today and speak to James, to be told it will only be sent out today. ABSOLUTELY NO APOLOGY, NO COMPENSATION! It sounded like I had woken him up and he was irritated with me for doing so. So I requested for my order to be cancelled and he says he has to check first if the order has gone out before he can cancel it. So I ask what happens if it has already left. So he says it won't have left but he needs to check. So I ask why he needs to check if he knows the order has not yet gone out. He explains that's their procedure! Then he tells me the money will take up to 5 days to get back into my account! FUMING! these items are for my daughters school. She is only in year 1 so Rymans, you are missing out on ALL the rest of her educstional supplies! AND I am an Educational Consultant, just opened my own business and will be buying everything from anywhere else!! Your loss!

Just awful 'customer service'!!!!! The following were two separate occasions... STRIKE 1: Wrong products delivered STRIKE 2: Broken product inside parcel STRIKE 3: Poor quality control...badly finished product see photo below Phoned three times, emailed and live chatted..Promises given, still no satisfaction!! Asked to submit photographs of damaged and faulty goods three times now. Rymans needs to know people don't have time for this nonsense. Go to a competitor instead.

Given a delivery date in their purchase confirmation email, confirmed via a telephone call to their customer services. Didn't arrive on the stated delivery date and no follow up from Ryman. Had to chase them up and pursue 3rd party shipper to locate goods. Finally arrived 9 DAYS LATE. Don't trust their delivery dates. Wouldn't touch their online sales system again, not even with a barge pole. They were very good at offering corporate excuses and saying it wasn't their fault!
