“Given a two hour slot on the day of delivery and e-mailed with over 3 hours notice to say I wouldn't be in and could I arrange another day or alternative arrangements. This was ignored and instead the item was delivered to an address which is over 170 doors away from mine. The item in question was a heavy item in 2 boxes and with this appalling service I feel like I've basically done the delivery myself as if it is at this address I'm going to have to drive to it and shift it myself! Lots of emails exchanged and was assured they would go back to the address they had delivered at and re-deliver it to my building, but as yet, no confirmation of this actually happening. The item was signed for by someone else so I would not have a leg to stand on if for some reason it went missing or was damaged. Rubbish service.”
“Just like many others on this website, I received appalling so called service from XDP. On the first day, we were given a two hour time slot for our delivery. I left work early and arranged for someone to collect my daughter from nursery so that I could be in for the delivery (it was a dining table and chairs so did not want to miss it). Similar story to most people on this page-it did not arrive. I called the phone number on the website and was told they could not get hold of my local depot but someone would call me back... No one did. The next day the tracking information stated that we were getting the delivery that morning. Again, I waited in (missed my daughters gymnastics class) and nothing arrived. I was in the queue on the phone for an hour and no one answered my call, so I eventually gave up. The next working day I phoned them and was told the delivery driver could not find the house so was unable to deliver. This company had both mine and my husbands mobile numbers and did not bother to contact us to ask for directions (I had even emailed them the day of delivery to say they might need to call if they cannot find the house as it is is a new build). There is also a sales office as you drive into the estate which is manned and would have been happy to direct. The lady on the phone rearranged the delivery for the Friday (4 days later when I said I would be home). The next day my husband had a phone call from the delivery driver saying he was on our estate and couldn't find the house and that the delivery was "the worst delivery of his life" this meant my husband had to leave work early to meet him on a day which wasn't the arranged day. To top it all off we received our phone bill and have been charged £45.00 for all of the calls we had made to XDP to try and locate our package. This charge would have been avoided had they just called me back as promised. I have emailed 3 times asking for contact details for the Head office and no response. Absolutely terrible company who refuse to communicate with customers leaving you no option but to call the expensive number yourself. I will not be purchasing anything from any company that uses this courier.”
“Worst delivery service I've ever dealt with! No ownership for issue and very shug shoulder responses. I've been given 4 delivery dates now and had to arrange to be at home each time. Even now they can't confirm 100% I will get the delivery on the date they state yet they say in their email if you aren't in the receive collection there will be an extra charge.
I hope I NEVER have to deal with them again after this.”
“Useless and not fit for purpose. However, they have a very good, if inaccurate, tracking system.
Total inability/unwillingness to respond to emails.
I understand that delivery can go wrong but when it does it is incumbent on the courier company to put it right as soon as possible and KEEP THE CUSTOMER INFORMED. XDP fail miserably in this regard.
I am still waiting for a response from their Stockbridge depot despite having sent 2 emails. In addition during a call I made to their 7p/minute telephone number, I was assured that the driver would be contacted and would call me directly with a delivery time. So far NO RESPONSE.
My overall attitude to this shower is DO NOT USE.
There should be a no star option for this outfit.

“Avoid this company. Sent a text with Estimated delivery slot of 2.37pm - 4.37pm. I took time off to wait in. Bed never arrived during this time. I went online to track it, no information. So I called to be told its only an estimated time but would be there by 7pm they were busy on Fridays! We waited and waited and after 7.45pm I called again. The office was closed! No one had even bothered to tell us it wasn't coming. We missed our trip to cinema and when I emailed to complain. The reply was 1 line sorry for the inconvenience. Pick another day for delivery! Clearly no customer care with this company!”

The driver came for collection and only to inform that his vehicle does not have space for any more item and that he will reschedule for the next day but nobody turned up. Its 3rd day today and still waiting for them. Reading older reviews I think they should be stopped from trading.”

“Terrible attitude of drivers. Rude and threatening. After asking if I could check for damage before he left, he shoved a torn scrap of paper with the words "driver will not wait". So as requested by the company I was getting a delivery from wrote on the paper driver will not wait to check for damage. I was given a load of abuse and told anymore delivers to this address will not make it or will be damaged. Absolutely appalling.”

“No show delivery twice now - although driver lied that attempt was made. Difficult to contact depot - engaged or doesn’t answer phone. Give you drivers mobile who doesn’t bother to answer or respond to messages.
Business model appears to be provide the cheapest courier and survive on a volume of consignments they can’t actually fulfill!
Simply put if you use XDP as your logistics partner I won’t put my business through you.”
“I had 2 parcels collected to be returned to The Range... (ZDBWKT007500). The courier failed to turn up twice and on attempt number 3 have scanned one of my parcels but the second (a 7foot parcel) has gone astray....I was promised a call back from their escalation team last Wednesday (23rd) and still waiting. They were to send a two man collection due to the size and weight but a guy turned up at 7.30pm on his own with his girlfriend in his van. Darlington Depo. Seriously considering reporting this as a theft to the police as I can’t even speak to my local depo as nobody ever answers the call... The Range have made investigation (apparently) and maintain only one parcel has been validated. Parcel of that size do not go missing! Please do not use them!”

I have received an email that my parcel has to be delivered between 17 - 18 of January. I had a call from XDP on Friday afternoon and they ask me whether it is ok if they will deliver a parcel to me the next day (Saturday). I have been waiting the whole day and nobody come. Nobody informed me they are not going to come on Saturday. The parcel didn't come on Monday as well. I made a call to XDP customer service and they guaranteed it will be delivered the next day. Now we have nearly a week from the day the parcel had to be delivered and still have not received anything. I can still see that my Parcel is at the depot when using the reference number. Avoid this company if you want to have your products to be delivered on time or even if you want to see your product at all.”
“Awful service should have delivered on Saturday. Waited in all day nothing. Emailed them and they cannot give you a time frame when they can deliver so took a day off work & rearranged. Confirmed with them the date via email, I was then contacted by the company I ordered the bed through that they were delivering today (Wednesday) between 2.24- 4.24 emailed xdp who again confirmed that they would deliver Friday. At 10pm on Wednesday I get a phone call to say they are 10 mins away, after getting me out of bed the driver couldn’t find my address no one has had a problem before, sat nav takes you to the front door. The packaging was ripped open on one of the boxes with part of the items bent. Needless to say very unhappy. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”
