So my delivery didn't turn up yesterday and the app doesn't work properly neither does the tracking system. Can't get hold of anyone so decided to go to the police to report them for theft of my goods. I've also complained online and reported them to trading standards. I will go out my way to make sure these people suffer the consequences. Dont mess with loyal genuine customers. I've seen everyone suffering on their reviews thanks to these nasty people so taking it upon myself to get something done about it. Im also setting up a petition to get them shut down.

have waited until now to post this review as I was still under contract with XDP for a period of time after leaving there employment. This review is not posted by an aggrieved ex employee but by a concerned member of the public who wishes to bring to the attention of customers past and present the way XDP do business. I am not entirely sure how long this review will remain on this site. Rest assured that if it is removed then this review will appear on other sites to bring the general public up to speed on how XDP treat customers and there goods whilst they are in XDP's possession. XDP as they state on there website "www,xdp.co.uk" one of the largest independently owned parcel delivery networks in the United Kingdom, they manually sort parcels at all there franchise and corporate depots nationwide. At the hub based in Birmingham is where all goods are sent on a nightly basis to be manually sorted and transported back to corresponding depots the following morning for delivery. Although there are a few depots that are well managed and well run there are numerous depots that are badly run with even worse staff and dodgy working practices. In my time there I have witnessed parcels being left in depots for days on end WITHOUT any attempts to deliver. Parcels being run over by fork trucks with absolutely no care taken on customers expensive goods and the way goods will be presented to customers at the door step. I have witnessed goods being left without the signature of the consignee and then drivers forging consignee signatures. Furthermore I have witnessed customers goods being thrown from one end of depots to the other, There have been lots of XDP's customers who have left due to poor service that has been received and huge amounts of damage to their goods. XDP do not care about the end user or there customers all there interest in is making money. XDP employee highly suspicious individuals one whom I will not name on here, although I will state is the Regional Manager for Scotland has recently been liberated from the Scottish Prison Service for Tachograph offences (these offences can be searched online) this individual is now back in the employment of XDP in his old role. Subcontractors, current employees have been employed by XDP without any security clearance checks and allowed to handle customers goods and in some cases steal those goods too. XDP do employ a private security company to investigate theft however they are not in the least professional and I would seriously question there methods. Criminal actions do not just relate to workers within some of there depots, a director found himself arrested when he got in to a vehicle at the companies head office, who wilfully reversed one of his vehicles into a travellers caravan who had parked his vehicle at the back of the companies HQ. I could go on but do not want to sound bitter. This is a truthful account on the way XDP do business and I thank you for taking the time to read this. Finally I would like to add that XDP will certainly attempt to have this review removed. All of the information that I have published is true and this information is what I would wilfully repeat in court under oath if needed.

This company is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!! Rude delivery driver!! If you are unable to deliver to flats due to you not being able to enter the building you should state this FIRST! I now have a HEAVY delivery downstairs that I am unable to carry because of a back injury. I will definitely be checking the delivery company prior to ordering packages and if it's this joke of a company I will definitely NOT be ordering.

I was wondering where the buck stops when things go wrong at XDP. I am one of the Directors of Kedel Limited in Burnley. We started using XDP for shipments to domestic customers 9 years ago in June 2011. In that time we have seen breakages, lost packages and delayed deliveries galore. We have packages broken that had fragile stickers all over them, but still somehow managed to end up with boot prints on the packaging. We can of course claim back the cost price of the goods provided we do a bunch of paperwork to make a claim along with images. After all that we often just get pennies in compensation. This does not cover the cost of lost business, reputation and cancelled orders, nor indeed the time it takes to deal with all these issues. It seems to me something is going terribly wrong at XDP which needs management attention. We had a shipment to one customer recently that was broken on arrival. We shipped out a replacement. XDP managed to break that too, so now I am having to get in my car and make the delivery myself. In fact another one was broken today. I would dearly love to have a conversation with David Jagger or their Chairman Louis John to see if they have a solution that will allow us to continue using XDP for our deliveries, because we are desperately looking for alternative means of delivery.

I received my 3h period for delivery on Thursday between 3:47-6:47 I have been waiting until 8pm and I didn't even received a call or email telling me there was not going to deliver my item. Friday after sending 6 emails with no answer I decided to call the company with the same luck NO ANSWER!!!! finally fitness superstore got in touch with them and I received an email telling me my delivery will arrive on Saturday "free of charge" I said to them: can you please tell me a time as I don't want to be waiting all day again? They couldn't tell me a specific hour. On Saturday I have been waiting until 4pm and again nothing( no emails, calls advising me there where not going to deliver) now it's Monday and again no email or anything telling when is my delivery going to be at my house. Please advise for future customers! The customer services from XPD are disgusting.

Bunch of incompetent liars. Our £600 furniture delivery through Aldi never arrived after several weeks. Neither we nor Aldi could ever get hold of them. I suspect there is some big-scale theft or fraud going on here.

Do not bother. Fake delivery attempt was made when I was at home waiting for them. They even posted a picture of my property... from google maps, from years ago. No contact with the company, allegedly sent emails were sent by XDP but never received. They have no business being in this industry. Avoid...like a plague.

They stated they emailed me, but they never, I have called them on their premium rate number and got cut off, their live chat on the app crashes, I have emailed and messaged them five times over the past week and a half, I have not received one bit of communication from them, totally unproffesional. My packages were in their warehouse for six days before moving out, and when one of the packages arrived, it was all bashed, and the rest of the packages are still missing.....its a bed FFS, you can't make up half a blinking bed.

They lie about delivering items and then get a signature saying HOME when infact they didn’t even attempt. A second parcel was sent by the retailer again by this cowboy company that again they lie say I was not home when I was not one but on two occasions. I took a day off work today as It said on tracking it will be attempted again but here I am again with nothing. I ask last time they said attempted should I not be in to leave it in the shed and they confirm but again they say they came and didn’t leave it …nothing makes sense. You cannot contact them online or by phone they are scammers. DO NOT USE This has taken 3 weeks of my life and still nothing

An absolute joke. Why any retailer uses these clowns is beyond me. They must be the cheapest option available on the market as there is no reason I can think of why anyone would willingly use this joke of a so called delivery service. My deliver was due on 13th May . I was given a 2 hour time slot but apparently they turned up 2 hours early, so I was not in. Instructions on our front door say to leave parcels at side of the house yet these clowns took a picture of our front door with this sign on it and said we weren’t in !!! I tried to rearrange delivery and got confirmation on their app but they did not turn up on the rearranged day. After 12 calls to the retailer delivery was meant to be on 20th May. Again XDP failed to deliver. I was given a 2 hour time slot in the morning and non one came. Somehow my tracking shows that the goods were delivered at 6.30pm that evening but when you click on the tracking the delivery location is not my house and nowhere near me. They even had the cheek to use the picture of the front door at my house taken the week previously to show in the tracking even though the photograph is time stamped and dated a week ago and it shows this on the image !!!! You can’t get in touch with XDP by phone easily and they don’t even answer once you get through. Live chat doesn’t work and they don’t respond to emails. I beg anyone who reads this , if your retailer says they use XDP then get them to use another courier or buy from someone who doesn’t use them.

They told the supplier they had lost my parcel for over a week. I cancelled the order. An hour later they delivered it, but told another supplier they had delivered their product. Total shambles, make Hermes look like geniuses. I will never buy from any company who use these people. Sellers should give a choice of delivery companies so we do not get messed around by these cowboys.

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered garden furniture from Aldi. Had text to say delivering Monday 19th July 12.29-2.29pm. Had an afternoon off work and no delivery. Got an email at 8.02pm to say they attempted delivery, but I have cctv and ring doorbell and no one came so they lied! I even waited all day Tuesday as Aldi c/service said it should be delivered Tuesday instead. It is now Wednesday and they still haven’t delivered! There is no contact number for them, no one on Live chat. Aldi have emailed them numerous times for me, but no response! The XDP app is terrible as there are no updates or confirmation of delivery times, yet that is the only way to contact them. So disappointed that Aldi use such a bad courier company!

Zero stars for this company we ordered a pizza oven from Aldi beginning of June. Had a message saying it was picked up by XDP it has been in their delivery depot for 10 days now and they still haven’t delivered it. Been on to Aldi Twice now and will be phoning again. You can’t phone XDP or have a web chat as they don’t answer. They are robbing us of our goods or holding them to ransom for some reason. Aldi need to stop using this company and honour their customers orders. I think a call to the tv station regarding this company might need looking into.

Would have given this company zero stars if I could. The bad reviews are there for a reason. They eventually admitted to losing our order after 4 weeks of trying to contact someone. It is impossible to speak with them as their live chat does not work and they do not answer the phone. Convenient don't you think. After much badgering from myself with the company I ordered from they have now said XPD have lost my order, which surprisingly enough is a very expensive item that basically is 80 kilos. How can such a big item be lost without trace? Looking back at reviews looks like they lose a lot of high price items. Now I wonder why. Would never use them again even if they paid me and will make sure I check before buying online that they are not the delivery firm. The owners should be ashamed to have their names as directors of this so called delivery company.

The worst delivery company, just horrible. Companies like Fitness Superstore, the company I bought from choose this delivery company, only to ruin their reputation and loose customers like myself. I'm still waiting for my order, I will have to request a Refund, since I know now I'll never receive it. I will report this company to Action Fraud Police UK, they can't operate anymore.

Delivery should have come Monday but never arrived, same again Tuesday and Wednesday, I went into their live chat and was then told my delivery was ‘4 stops away he has been delayed’ It is now Thursday morning so either the driver is lost or is walking with my order, Their customer services are shocking, you have to queue 20 minutes to get onto their ‘live’ chat, only to then be told it’s on it’s way, A suggestion for XDP would be to shut up shop and start a travelling circus as they seem to employ a bunch of clowns Worst courier service available, they can’t even lie properly, if you purchase through a company that uses these I would recommend ordering elsewhere and not giving this cowboy outfit a pound of your money

Cladding delivered from supplier to them immediately along with adhesive on Tuesday, I get note saying its on its way.Stayed in all day Wednesday nothing, thursday nothing.Tried contacting them, impossible, says there is a live chat on the bottom of their page, only there is no icon!Email supplier saying if my order is not here by Friday I want a full refund.Friday on the track and trace delivery due but it's in two deliveries! What good is cladding without adhesive and vice versa.Managed to phone supplier on Friday about this, whilst I was on the phone a van rolls up,bloke gets out with a package in his hand,i presume adhesive, but no bloody cladding!Told him to take it back I want a refund.Wasted a whole week of my time, not to mention the anger and frustration, honestly if a yellow three wheeler had rolled up I would not have batted an eyelid.Cowboys, you only have to look at other reviews. It would have been quicker by horse and cart.Pandemic has nothing to do with it,look at other reviews. Not the suppliers fault, who have promptly refunded me.

Like many of you, I didn’t choose XDP, rather I had XDP forced upon me. I’ll be doing my best to avoid this in future. I too tried to be understanding because of COVID and all the rest of it, but XDP’s service would still be shocking if we were in the middle of the bubonic plague. So far, I am only a few days passed the date that my stuff should have arrived so reading other reviews I’m settling in for the long haul. My primary complaint is with XDP’s assertion that it is in fact my fault that my parcel isn’t here. XDP have the audacity to claim I’ve been “Carded” on their tracking system since I wasn’t around to take the parcels from them. They have 100% not been here because I’ve been working from home within 4 feet of my front door, no sign of the card I was supposedly posted either. I can only assume that this is a bare-faced lie as our street has a unique postcode, there are only 6 houses on it, and we are number 1 with the street sign literally affixed to our house, so it’s not as if they could have visited the wrong address by mistake unless they are gravely incompetent. You would think that for a company that primarily spends its days locating houses, mine would not present a significant challenge. No way to contact the company at all. I can’t even sign into the app because trying to create an account involves a step with an email link to verify your address which, fittingly, never arrived either. The website invites you live chat via a link “at the bottom of the page” that isn’t there. Call centre is closed and I’ve been ghosted by their email address, although they’re probably overwhelmed by the number of complaints they are getting at the moment. Meanwhile, Amazon, Royal Mail, DPD etc perform almost as quickly as usual with regular tracking updates. I am amazed to have encountered a delivery company even worse than Yodel. I think checking with sellers to vet their delivery company in future is a good idea, XDP smacks of a company that has bitten off more than it can chew and is, frankly, flailing. A disorganised company with dishonest practices.
