Beware if used in hot Arizona. I just removed mine from first summer season and the heat melted parts of the cover to the skylight which can't be cleaned up. I now need to replace the skylights. Would like to have known about this as a possible concern. I would recommend putting a towel, blanket, whatever to protect the skylight from the cover. Pretty disappointing to have happen.

With all the pictures and dimensions I sent, the cover does not fit or look very good. If I tuck and fold the ends in, I can get it to look somewhat acceptable. I am afraid that where I have to fold the fabric, eventually it is going to crack or tear. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the fabric seems to be good quality.

Very disappointed with my cover. Ordered ahead of the summer in March of 22. It's reasonably heavy but the bottom had already started to deteriorate where it touched the ground within a few months. I live in a windy area and was hoping this cover (which I went to a whole lot of trouble with to customize and ask the right questions) did not do the job. Unfortunately they told me that the drawstring option is only available on two sides and when you live in a windy area it needs to be on all four sides so that it really tightens up. They say this is not possible but I don't accept that. They may not have the option but of course it's possible. Anyway because of the lack of tightening ...no matter even if I tried with turtle grips, the whole thing becomes a sail and after spending $1,000 on heavy patio furniture and more than $250 on this cover, the cover had to be removed in heavy winds. Very disappointed considering how much I've spent on the whole project. I am 74 years old and did not want to drag my patio table and chairs which is actually impossible for me from the back yard to the garage at the front. I believe the next step is to get rid of my patio table and chairs and trash the cover.

Hi Roberta, I'm sorry that you are unhappy with the covers. Yes, PVC will wear out if it is constantly rubbing on the ground. That is true for almost any material. If you would like to reorder in the future please reach out to me directly and I will extend a discount. I would also recommend that if you do reorder that the cover should be slightly off of the ground so it does not rub/scrape. That should solve any wear issues. matt@alcocovers.com

It took week's to get our cover made. I send measurement's after measurements The cover arrived and it did not fit right around our tall faucet. The faucet pulls the 2 burner cover to the right so it doesn't fit. I know custom covers are not refundable...lesson learned. Customer service was great during the process.

Ordered a cover for my gas firepit. Simple dimensions - LxWxH. They claim to allow an extra inch to the L and W so the fit won't be too tight. The Length was exact (no extra inch) which was fine. It pulled over with no trouble. The Width, however, was 2 1/4" longer than the submitted measurement, hence allowing the cover to drag on the floor. Doesn't sound like a lot but it just looks sloppy. That said, if they can manage to measure properly, the 18 gauge material is of high quality and appears able to withstand the harshest weather.

Delivery was a nightmare. We paid for priority shipping and it has taken almost a month to get our cover. They refunded the priority shipping but should really make it known in large print that it could take up to a month to receive your cover. Absolutely ridiculous. We will see if the cover is worth it.

I ordered 7 covers for my patio furniture. The 4 captain chairs and love seat fit perfectly. However both sectionals they made were too long and droop onto the ground which collect a lot of debris. And one sectional they reversed the pattern completely. They did replace the one sectional that they made the mistake on but I really had to hound them about it. When they made the new sectional cover I requested that they make it shorter so that it wouldn't droop onto the ground even though I used all their measuring parameters that are on their website. I finally got the replacement cover after about 2 months and disappointingly it was too long again. They ignored my request and made it as long as the first one. I have tried contacting them via email and phone and no one has responded to my messages. Very disappointing.

Ordered a custom cover for a water softner to be installed in Arizona outside home. Took the order and communication about cover estimate and quote were good till the order is placed. After order is placed and billed to CC, no communication whatsoever. Even if you ask status, there were one liner response per week saying order is in progress. Even after expressing equipment is outside facing extreme weather conditions, there is no courtesy or response whatsoever to update customer or to ship the order. Although review are good about final product, communication is horrible and by the time you are waiting, there is more options to go to a local hardware/home store and get a decent cover

I placed an order on 8/3 where it indicate the item would be produced and shipped in 8-10 days. On 8/7 I was notified there would then be an additional 8 bus days for production, 1 day to pack and 3-4 to ship. I have followed up and gotten 1 excuse after another after being told that it was sitting there waiting for the shipper to pick up. Today is 8/23, it has been 15 Business Days and 20 Calendar Days and I haven't had a response back. Our new furniture has now completely faded in the sun...being told I cannot cancel or get a refund because they "are too busy" this summer. I'm happy business is good, but my experience has not been. Buyer beware before you order that they are not meeting their own estimates. I now ordered from another company and received those within this week.
