“As the POA for my brother, I ordered an Alert1 for him because he living by himself after his wife died of Covid.. When I phoned to order it I was "sold" on paying a year up front to get the extra month "free". I then I asked about a refund should I cancel before the year was up and I was told it was prorated for the unused months used. My brother ended up in the hospital within 10 days of receiving the equipment and by the time I got him out of the hospital and into rehab I went to his apartment to return the equipment. At the that it was one month and 3 days. When I phoned I was told there was no refund for canceling the years service. This company is a fraud and will lie to you to get you to pay for a year's service up front. Don't do it! You will not receive a refund.”
