Rubbish customer service! Rubbish products! Window latch broke while still in guarantee, was told that would send one in the post to fit ourselves! Front door lock broke so house unsecure aske d for an engineer said they couldn't say when one would be out, therefore had to get a locksmith at the cost of £150.00 reported that to Anglian, they said a Paarl from the Service Department would call us, no such call received!

Anglian were VERY EXPENSIVE (nearly £7,500 for four full size windows and one small one) but we thought it would be worth the cost having previously had a good experience with them. We were wrong - as their own fitters told us, they have gone down hill drastically in recent years, and their service was AWFUL AND STRESSFUL IN SO MANY WAYS: 1) The installation left MUD, DIRT AND DAMAGE on our walls and all over the ground floor, bits of wood and dust all over the installation sites, fingerprints all over the windows (including one that can't be reached without scaffolding) and they dropped expandable foam into our guttering and down-pipe, which would have cause an expensive blockage had I not noticed. 2) They installed THE WRONG WINDOW PANE (clear instead of frosted) in our bathroom, which left neighbours able to see in and my wife (who lives with a disability) unable to use her customised bathroom for the six weeks it took to fix it. 3) The installation left GAPS IN OUR WALL - I could see clear daylight through some holes. This let water into the walls - we now have WATER STAINS that we will need to repaint over, at our own cost. 4) SEVERAL PRODUCTS WERE FAULTY OR DAMAGED - for instance, sash windows fell open unless locked shut, and several catches and locks were chipped and damaged. This took over three months to fix. 5) It took EIGHT MONTHS and 5 visits to complete a job we were assured, even in the pandemic, would only take 3 months and one visit. 6) During this time they REPEATEDLY MISSED OR CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS - sometimes with no notice at all, even though we'd waited in for them. They claimed they'd tried to call several times for these missed appointments, but their own call register shows this wasn't true. 7) I lodged several formal complaints, which were escalated to senior management. The first one took over two months to even acknowledge. I NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE TO MY COMPLAINT when it was escalated to Regional Manager Martin Dempsey. My follow up emails were just ignored. It became apparent early on that they really didn't care about the shoddy service they were providing - they just wanted us to pay and go away. 8) For all the inconveniences we were offered a discount amounting to around 2% of the total bill. This doesn't leave much over from the cost of the parking permits we had to give them for the multiple visits and the cost of paint that we'll need to paint over the water stains and chipped walls. They tried to claim that a small plastic vent and small metal child lock they installed was worth an additional £100(!), but this was just correcting items missed on the original installation. Please save yourself the stress and effort and get your windows elsewhere.

My mum employed Anglian to build a garden room spending a considerable amount of money with them. She was unhappy with some aspects of the work and has repeatedly requested them to come back and make good. This has been going on for a couple of years and is really stressful for her and their customer service is non existent. I have now reported them to trading standards but they are not a company I would recommend. If anything goes wrong they don’t want to know. Shocking way to treat customers. I’m giving one star reluctantly as I can’t give ‘no’ stars. I’ve also tried to lodge a review on trustpilot but they have an ‘integrity’ team (LOL) who have a time limit on reviews apparently. AVOID

Avoid avoid avoid. They have damaged our home, taken 18 months and reinstalled the windows and doors to correct negligent work. Choose any other company.

Had to call them out twice within 6 weeks of front door installation. Got locked in my house for hours as the door would not open so had to take leave from work. The guy that came out eventually got door open then pointed out flaws with the installation. The door is now sticking. Complained to customer services but got fobbed off, refused compensation and told if the door lock fails out of their office hours it's down to me to pay for a locksmith, not their problem. They are coming out for a third time to hopefully to rectify the faults on this installation. As I paid thousands for this I would expect top quality workmanship and customer service but I got the opposite. Would never use them again

Ongoing issues with their door. Poor quality and appalling service. Had a cracked golden panel on the front door 6 months after they were installed. It cracked again 1.5 years later. They have been fobbing me off for 4 weeks and have now said that they will not fix it. The first excuse was that they no longer work with this supplier (even though the door was under guarantee) and when that was argued they said that we caused the damage so they won't do anything, however, they can send out a sales rep to give us a new quote for us to buy another front door - they must be having a laugh if they think we are ever spending another penny with them. Stay far away from these cowboys and take your money elsewhere. I am taking them to court.

What a joke this company are. We moved into new house November 2020. Previous owner had windows and composite Front door from Anglian. The front door is faulty. Hinges have dropped door wont close without lifting and ramming closed which has subsequently damaged trims seats and frame. Service Manager came out in December, fiddled about with door, then said needs parts which he would order and send someone back. After chasing, Engineer turned up in January, fiddled about and said needs parts, which he would order and come back. What a surprise, no one came back. I chased and spoke to someone in customer service and guess what? I was emailed a link to place a service call! Well today 12th April Engineer turned up. Guess what, he fiddled with door and said it needs parts and is a 2 man job, its like Groundhogg Day. I asked him to call manager whilst I was there. I spoke to Service manager who conveniently could not remember coming out to me.

I placed an order for a porch in November 2020. They were suppose to fit it in January 2021. As of April 2021 I have not had the porch fitted. I asked for my deposit of almost £3000 back they told me no because I have a contract with them. What an awful company.

Rude installers who forged the paperwork on the "sign off" sheet they handed me with my bill, as they were leaving. They ticked everything to say they had gone through it with me, but they went through nothing. Furthermore, they cut through my phone line and didn't even bother to tell me. I put in a complaint and the manager was supposed to phone me back but, of course, he didn't bother. Not only will I never touch this company again, I urge you not to.

Ongoing issues with a conservatory that is in warranty. My conservatory developed a leak, I contacted Anglian on the 27th of October 2020. I was given an appointment for a technician to visit on 02 December 2020. I was told both sides of the gutters had parts that are inefficient causing leaks and need replacing to stop leaks. The next appointment booked was 15th January 2021, the technicians arrived with the wrong parts! The next appointment alleged earliest appointment given to me was the 10th of March 2021! Meanwhile, I sent several emails requesting parts to be correct and assured everything was in order, subsequently, on the 10th of March I was called on the day to be told the appointment will be cancelled due to rain! The appointment was rebooked for the 17th of March 2021, the technicians turned up and again had the incorrect parts. When told this is not the first time this has happened the technician shrugged their shoulders. For the second time the technicians blamed the office, on speaking to the office they advised they can only order parts instructed by the technicians. I made 4 calls on the day requesting a call back without any success. The issue is still ongoing. A complete lack of accountability and serious breakdown of communication to the detriment of its customers. I'm surprised Anglian has survived their inefficiencies. Do not purchase from them, their customer service seems to fail customers at every given opportunity.

They fitted defective windows and doors and were incapable of rectifying them. We will never ever use Anglian again.. the warranty they offer is literally worthless ...

We had a new front door in 2013, The Classic collection range, called the Chichester. It is underneath a large porch area so is not open to the elements. We noticed paint peeling around the lattice window area a couple of years after fitting. I telephoned them and was told that they would send me a touch up stick FOC through the post. This never arrived. My mistake, I never chased them up for it. As we had other projects on the go, the door was left alone. Nearly 8 years on, it looks a complete mess. I telephoned and e-mailed them and was eventually told that I would need to purchase a touch up paint stick for £13.65 plus P&P. I argued to no effect that this should be sent out FOC. No apology was made. They sent through on a PDF file their terms and conditions which state just a 2 year guarantee on the paint. They emblazon 10 years and 15 years on other things but the paint guarantees are hidden away and difficult to find. I certainly won't be using this company again. For a national company, who aren't cheap, the way they have treated me is shameful.

We recently moved to a house which had used Anglian Windows to replace the windows. We noticed that several of the sealed units had misted but did not consider this a problem as the windows were less than 4 years old and according to the guarantee the sealed units were covered by the guarantee until 2032. We enquired about transferring the guarantee into our name and after several phone calls chasing a response we were informed that they required an inspection visit by one of their engineers to ensure that the installation had been maintained in line with their maintenance guide. The cost for this was £250. If the engineer considered that it had, we then had to pay a further £49 per contract of which there were 2 to cover the process of transferring the guarantee. The £250 was not refundable and I replied stating that this extortionate fee was unreasonable as I did not know what the previous owner had or hadn't done but I have no idea what she could have done to prevent the glass from failing in such a short period of time. Ten minutes later I received a reply saying they could not help me further. Be warned - their guarantee is worthless and their Customer Service is atrocious. If they can avoid rectifying their faulty workmanship in any way, rest assured that they will do so.

I do not recommend. Whilst I am happy with the product itself - a new front door - and the employee who came to install was efficient and highly capable, the customer service of this company was atrocious. I ordered the door in mud September and I went with AHI as a local company had told me it would not be done until January and I needed the work done far more quickly as by this stage my door had deteriorated to the pint where I could no longer lock it. Their representative said the normal wait time is 8 weeks but that it may take a little longer due to the pandemic. However he said it should be done by the end of November or shortly after. The greater speed than the local company did seem to me to largely offset their premium prices so I went with it. In fact it was not installed until 16 Feb. I went a long period with no communication giving an indication of when installation would be likely to take place and in fact I only became aware that there would be a substantial delay when I contacted them. It seems to me many companies are using the current situation to absolve themselves of inefficient, incompetence and laziness. I would not use them again and would not recommend others to do so.

As previous customers have pointed out, customer service is not a priority for this company and is in fact non existent. we paid £2020 for a new front door. All was well until it started to fall apart. This Company stalled and prevaricated throughout to such an extent we are now in the process of taking them to the Small Claims Court. No apology from them. Avoid this Company at all costs. No after sales service and only reply to emails when you send them to the CEO : Martin Rutter They promise return phone calls and visits, none of these actually happen. I can`t imagine they actually read these comments or they would change their working practices.

I am appalled at the level of customer service provided by Anglian. Absolutely speechless! Anglian made many promises when trying to obtain my signature for a contract but now the manager I spoke with has no recollection of these promises. Very convenient might I add. Crystal windows warned me at the time (as I enquired with many companies) that Anglian will go back on their word and I was naive enough to assume a company with a reputation like Anglian would do no such thing. How wrong was I?! They have no recollection that they were supposed to fit my old door to an outhouse for me- as good as called me a liar in fact. They agreed to do this as they took 1 YEAR AND 3 MONTHS to fix my faulty door that THEY installed at the wrong size in the first place. They failed to reduce my invoice to the CORRECT amount. My mother is an elderly pensioner who owns the home and Anglian are aware of this yet they are more than happy to lie, scam and cheat their way to a sale. BBC’s rogue traders springs to mind. If it wasn’t for Mario and Conrad (installation team) and their most professional attitude and outstanding work, Anglian would not be in my home right now! Please don’t make the same mistake I did. This company is merely a shadow of what they used to be. Their reputation amounts to a fraction of what it once was. Do your research and avoid this company at all costs. I can only hope my review goes some way to saving yourselves the headache and stress I can no longer save myself or my mother from. I’m even more disappointed that I don’t have the option to give 0 stars. Perhaps negative stars should be offered as an option! If Anglian are honest enough to honour their promise, I will come back and happily update this review...

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. They remove bad reviews from other sites to keep ratings high. Any complaints you have will be passed to their legal department and you will be treated like an idiot. Many many people are in dispute with the company. Search for Anglian dissatisfied customer page on FACEBOOK as a reference point for REAL REVIEWS.

Poor quality and service. Poorly fitted and designed front door still with drafts after about 6 service visits. Bifold seals pull out when opening and closing. Plus drafts through each seal on the doors. No apparent thermal break condensation on window frames. Not the product expected or customer service for the price paid.
