“I traveled up from NSW to purchase a new recurve bow. I was very impressed with everything I saw. The shop is well set out, the service was great and the guy I spoke with was very knowledgeable and set up the bow I was looking at so I could play with it and make sure it was what I wanted. “Very happy with the speed of dispatch. Very happy with the quality of and contents of this kit. There are many extra bits and pieces to do with rests and sights, but no clear instructions how to fit them , what they are etc. The suggested Youtube clip is not helpful there either.
This is a starter kit, for beginners, so this lack of basic info is puzzling.
i.e. the simple spring clip rest, recommended for 'accuracy' but no info or diagram to show where it sits and which way up.”
“I've made two online purchases from Apex, one in 2015 and one at the end of 2022. Both times I've been sent the wrong items. Most recently I've really struggled to get any assistance from their support team and haven't been able to swap items for what I ordered. Unless it was the only retailer of a specific item domestically to Australia, I'd prefer to shop elsewhere.”
