“As I know nothing about this sort that my son is into I was hoping for a bit more information communication the Guy I spoke to did not have very good customer skills , I live in NSW and my son drive about 45mins to your store I was just hoping for a little more help”
“The staff were friendly and helpful, but service was slow—I waited nearly half an hour, likely due to being understaffed. I bought my first compound bow and left feeling a bit overwhelmed with limited guidance. I also reached out via Instagram about a sale but didn’t get a response.
The store felt rushed, especially on busy days, and nothing was priced in-store—understandable if prices fluctuate, but having clear pricing would make shopping much easier. Despite this, the staff were very handy, and I would still recommend the store. Just be prepared for longer waits, particularly if you’re traveling from the Gold Coast like I did.”
“I was pretty stoked to spend 1600 on a decent bow, but during purchase I was told I would have someone tune the bow on arrival, and I was left with an untrained staff member who was completely unrelated to the bows or a bow tech himself.
It was actually quite a dangerous thing to have a sales and social media person have to work on my bow, as all other staff where *to busy* or completely ignorant of the situation.
We spent an hour *tuning* the bow to me, and eventually I felt unsafe and uncomfortable on this person's lack or skills and knowledge, and I had spent 1600 on a Hoyt to be tuned be a pro.
In the end a staff member reluctantly and in a mad rush helped to *tune* the bow in 3 shots then discarded me to figure it out myself.
I've had way more hands on and educational experiences shopping for bows from other places.
And I genuinely would only recommend to buy things here if it's a good price, other then that they help to sell you a bow. And don't follow up on the professional turning or help after that.”
“Please stock more Trad equipment. Compounds are fine, but a lot of archers/bowhunters prefer Trad gear. Maybe reach out to local bowyers (I could put you in touch with a few) to carry their products and take orders for custom Trad bows. I would pretty much buy all my gear from you guys if you had a wider range of Trad gear, like 100 packs of full length feathers, and Port Orford Ceder shafts. If you need a staff member who's familiar with the requirements of Trad bowhunters, I'm available. 😉😁”
“It was easy to purchase.
Having a discount option was not available on the ordering website.
The package come in a box with about (That looks like) 2 years on dust on teh plastic covering.
Its like, "yep this one" and tossed it on a box.
Plastic covering stuck onto the target.”
“The supplier's 7-Day Handling Time turned into a 14-Day Handling Time (with no update from the supplier) and when the items arrived finally, it was missing the string.
In saying that, the communication was excellent, and a string was provided quickly enough, free of charge.
Overall I would say this was an average experience.”
“HI, I love my bow but I did find the process of getting it a bit annoying. I rang before I ordered and the person told me that particular bow would take 7 days. When it hadn't arrived by 14 days I rang, to be told that it would take 3 to 6 months! However apparently there were other colours available in 7 days. So the nice person changed my order and I got the bow.
However I think if an order is going to take that long, that you should ring or email the customer and tell them what's happening. A bit of proactive customer support would be appreciated.
It's a lovely bow. Thank you”
“I was solsd string silencers, which will do nothing but slow my string down. I also paid for speed buttons on my string, these were not added.
I rated as acceptable as my string arrived early. & the service provided by Apex was acceptable, though I had to provide the same info twice as they did not check their system for string specifications and they sold me string silencers that don't do anything, nor did they check the string to make sure that the speed buttons were added before posting.”
“When you are a novice and purchasing a bow for the first time like I did I would expect assembly instructions with the bow package you buy. All I got was a parts list so it took awhile to assemble while searching online for any help I.could find”
“Parcel arrived, originally it appeared in stock when purchased online then wasn't, then was going to be sent express, and arrived as normal snail mail..”
“Service was good. Store very clean & tidy.
My only criticism is it would be better if you had more sizes in stock, and you need some random socks for trying on boots for people who walk in with thongs on and forget to bring socks.
I'm not buying a pair of $40 socks just to try on some boots.”
“I ordered a 12 inch stabiliser to shoot AHC in 3daaa, which is my maximum length. The stabiliser arrived over 14 inches in length which is illegal for me to use. I rang Apex Archery and asked if I could exchange the 12 inch for a 10 inch and was advised to refer to the returns policy, which unfortunately states that any items taken out of the packaging cannot be returned which I find a bit unfair, but I will sort a suitable solution myself.”
“This is a good basic thumb release. It has no adjustments to the release mechanism itself. It allows you to adjust the trigger angle. That's the only adjustment possible with this. So you can't set the trigger sensivity.
I like this because I've got a more sophisticated thumb trigger release which through 3 different allan keys allowing me to adjust the mechanism sensitivity of trigger and the release as well allowing me to adjust trigger placement - and it is an excellent and superior release but it also, having the complications means it's more likely to have problem and fail as it did recently and I had to send it back for repairs. That's why I bought this B3 (I've also go tthe B3 index trigger and that's pretty good I reckon).
The B3 Archery Release Exit Hunter isn't as complex and so isn't as adjustable so it's not as good that way, but it is reliable and makes a good back up and it's always good to have a plan B3 if anything fails.”
