“The BBQ required far greater assembling than I was expecting... The guide was fairly straightforward but aspects could have been clearer i.e. where some holes were on the larger tubular pieces.
The BBQ did arrive slightly damaged, some of the pieces need some adjusting through bending back into the correct position, from looking at the box I think this was a delivery issue but perhaps better padding in the box would help.
Sounds silly... But the instructions were at the very bottom of the box but practically having to empty the whole contents of the box to find the instructions was not intuitive.
Having used the BBQ twice now - it's great. Does the job well! The ease of cleaning is a greatly improved through the design. The heat spreads across the BBQ fairly well, not perfect (but they never are), and overall the BBQ seems robust.
It would be useful if you could buy a matching cover or a cover that comes with it.”

“Haven't been able to use it as I cannot get the gas I need and if I cannot get the gas then I don't know which hose and regulator to buy. I phoned customer services several times in order to get advice and got put through to a completely different company who couldn't offer anything at all. Not impressed by the service or so cannot tell you about the product I bought.”

The past 12 months have been exceptionally unusual and challenging in relation to maintaining a seamless cylinder supply operation for Calor. With operational restrictions in place during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by a period of unprecedented demand for many of our key cylinder sizes, the resulting impact means that we are not able to deliver at our usual speed and efficiency. We are doing our very best to satisfy demand in these challenging circumstances and provide for all of our customers whilst keeping our colleagues and customers safe. However, it has not always been possible be meet demand and we apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing you. We would like to assure you that we are doing all that we can to restore the cylinder availability and delivery status back to our usual high standards. With the demand continuing to remain high, we have been working tirelessly to increase the number of cylinders in circulation by introducing extended shifts to refurbish existing cylinders as well as purchasing new cylinders to supplement the existing stock. These efforts will take time to add the significant stock into the network – but once they do this will allow us to improve our availability and once again provide you with the service you expect from Calor.

“I ordered the Calor Gas 3kW Blue Provence Portable Gas Heater, which took one week to arrive via free courier. Great service & wonderful Heater, though don't forget you need to buy the gas itself separately. Love it though, and everyone who has seen it has commented on how great it looks. Very pleased and good value for money for a heating source.
Only struggle I had was getting the large box delivered to my doorstep on a pallet into the house, as there was only me to move it, and it is quite heavy and should be lifted by two people!”

Unfortunately as these fires are over sized items they travel on a pallet. Pallet deliveries are kerb side only and these fires do require two people due to their weight.
