“argyll holiday are a great place to go but i find that the prices for locg gilped is a bit over the top ..”

“We stayed for a weekend, the pet friendly caravan was a bit posher than what we are used too, it was clean and up to date. The site was very quiet which was fine but we expected the pub just up the road to be open, no it was shut for refurbish. It would have been nice of the site to inform us of this, is it was a main reason to stay there. But otherwise it is handy for days out. I would stay again if the pub was open.”

“We enjoyed the hot tub , great space and each our own bathrooms! I have stayed all over the world at different lodges this is what would improve your facility...countertop or shelf space in bathrooms...there was nowhere to put a toilet bag not even a hook! We stayed the week...with a tiny bit of soap and ONE towel...with a hot tub!!! The fridge was not on when we arrived! But most of all we were on a walking holiday and had checked and specifically asked about laundry and was told yes it had facilities, which was a total lie the laundry had been torn down months before and the laundry at Hafton Was closed that week...due to...never did get a reason. Very disappointed so inconvenient! Also no Wi Fi, missed out on many old friends trying to reach me while I was in the area....6 messages came through after I returned to Stirling. Too late to join us on our walking! The size of the lodge .and hot tub were the saving graces but I would not recommend it to my friends without explaining the definite drawbacks”

“Personalised treatment - I had two elderly ladies with me and on the first day one of the reception staff popped by to see that everything was fine. Staff were all very helpful whenever we asked for anything. Amazing Location!”

“We had a great time at Hunters Quay with the family and dogs. The lodge was comfortable but a little dated. TV signal wasnt the best and they tried to fix it but still wasnt great. The site could do with being more dog friendly. We would loved to have went for a meal but couldn't take the dogs.”

“A lovely complex, in a beautiful very remote setting. Good facilities on site.Restaurants and activities.I Was really pleased you offered Gluten Free options on your menu too. The comfort lodge we stayed in was clean comfortably furnished. Although I feel the kitchen could have been better equipped. The location of the lodges would usually offer a view of the loch. However due to the building work happening on site, this did not disturb us.Think we should have been advised that there was building work during our stay.”

“The Jura Premier Caravan was very good with everything you could wish for. But the Holiday was somewhat spoilt by Hunters Quay allowing the caravan next to us to be hired by Workmen/Builders who when they returned from work left the caravan door open till all hours. So all you could here was LOUD Voices, there was no chance of getting to sleep till at least 11.30pm and some nights 1.30pm. It is such a shame as the site, was great, and all the staff were polite and friendly. Why cant Workmen be put away from the Holiday makers, who come to relax ! The Bar/restaurant was very nice, but the prices were a bit OTT. However, the food was tasty and well presented. Again all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was very nice. Places of interest, Try Blair-more, if you like Mackerel fishing, about half hour from the site. Also on the way there try Shirleys Diner for home cooked food at a fair price. Special thanks to the girls in reception, who were very helpful. We will visit the site again, but would try to hire the wheelchair friendly caravan with the disability aids. Or at least a quieter area of the site.”

“Caravan was very clean and comfortable and the Views to the hills were lovely. Really enjoyed the swimming pool, great kids pool and was very relaxing being able to use the sauna and Jacuzzi.”
