“We have just spent 4 nights in a Ben Lomond 3 lodge. The setting is beautiful. We had a fantastic view and it was lovely to sit with a glass of wine on the decking and watch the Loch Lomond ferry cruises go by. When we opened the lodge doors we were met by a fresh aroma and lovely clean rooms. The 3 bedrooms were very tastefully decorated and above average in size. All had ample storage facilities. There was a lovely shower room with toilet and washbasin and lots of shelf space and an additional wc with toilet and small wash basin. The kitchen area was well-equipped with all the necessary crockery and cutlery etc. The sitting area was large and airy. The heating was a slight problem as we could not quite regulate it properly but as the weather was mainly warm it was not much of an issue. The staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. We just had two small niggles - our lodge was on a corner and so we probably had more car noise than most lodges and we were disturbed more than we would have liked by barking dogs!! All in all our stay was very chilled out and extremely enjoyable.”

“Check in was smooth. All staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent facilities and premier caravan was fantastic much more than we hoped for. Value for money and excellent parking next to caravan. To top it all of we had fabulous sunny weather, couldn't have asked for more. Looking forward to returning in November.”

“Great place for a family break. Visited Drimsynie often over the last 30 years, mostly November time, (not booked in our name) Perfect distance from our home in Lochwinnoch. We will be either with the family or friends again this year.”

“We're just back from a 4 night stay at Hunters Quay, and already looking to book our next visit. We were a multi generation group of grandparents, parents and children aged 4 and 7, we stayed in one of the 3 bedroom Oak Premier Lodges with a hot tub. The Argyll holidays team demonstrated a high level of customer service from the initial call to book, through to check in and for the duration of our stay. The lodge was bright, clean, modern and well appointed - the whole family loved having the hot tub on the decking, we were in it morning noon and night :-) The views throughout the holiday village were stunning, (please note the village location is quite hilly and may not be suited to someone with limited mobility/ walking difficulties) The village centre was just a short 5 minutes walk away from our lodge, the children enjoyed unlimited access to the soft play and swimming pool as well as wide range of bookable activities. Meeting Rosie at the children's disco was a highlight for them both. We ate at Hunters Bar & Grill on one evening, the staff were cheery and attentive, the menu was typical pub grub - we would recommend the fish & chips or the chicken burger, both were really delicious. Important to mention we visited Hunters Quay outwith the Scottish school holidays which meant the park was quite quiet which was ideal, think there is potential for the village centre to get over crowded during peak season. Thank you to the Argyll Holidays team for a great family week away - we hope to be back at some point in the not too distant future.”
