The flavor (Cuba Mia) is a bit thin compared to non-compostable pods I've tried. I've only had 2, so maybe my opinion will change after I've had more.

I'm a Nespresso owner, and yes, the pods have to be recycled so I wanted to try this option. The package came quickly and the pods are packed very well, labeled and all of that was great. But I haven't liked the coffee so much. I'm still trying out all of the different ones I chose but right now I would say I wouldn't buy again. But I will be open minded because I love the idea!

The flavor is a bit weak. I will use Artizan with our Nespresso. I like the thought of not having the metal and plastics seaping into my body, but am disappointed the flavor is compromised and not robust.

I want to find an espresso that is recyclable. I am trying to replace my fav non recyclable pod “Peets 10 intensity Ristretto” pod. Your Cuba MIA is close but still to bitter and biting. I will keep trying, but you also don’t sell a sample pack so I can try different ones without buying 5 boxes.

I purchased this brand because it is compostable but I was unaware that in order to decompose you must have an at home composter ( around 200$) unless your community composts. It can't be done at home without that. This would use electricity. The coffee itself tastes good.

Carol, Thank you again for your feedback and we’re really glad you enjoyed the coffee. There may be a small misunderstanding about composting. Our capsules are home compostable, which means they do not require a $200 electric countertop composter. In fact, electric kitchen composters are designed mainly for food scraps and typically do not break down compostable packaging properly. If you don’t already have a compost setup, you don’t need anything expensive. Many people get started with something as simple as a 27-gallon storage tote (like the black and yellow bin from Home Depot). Add food scraps, yard waste, and the used capsules, mix occasionally, and let nature do the rest. If you’d like to see how simple backyard composting can be, here’s a short video: “5 Minute Compost Bin – Composting for Beginners” https://youtu.be/B43nL_xGs5Q Under normal backyard composting conditions, the capsules will break down over time, typically within about 26 weeks. If your local curbside program accepts certified compostable packaging, that works too. We appreciate you bringing this up, as composting can be confusing and there’s a lot of misinformation out there. If you ever have questions, we’re happy to help. Stay well, Julio Abril Artizan Coffee

Coffee is just OK, not good. I like that pods are compostable

Inconsistent production and quality. Bills customer way in advance of actual hand off to delivery carrier.

When I ordered I didn't understand all they sell is expresso. I thought I was ordering some espresso and some regular coffee. When I called to tell them about my misunderstanding, I was informed there are no refunds ever unless the packaging has been damaged. Was also told there was nothing that could be done, even though I hadn't opened anything except 1 package and that their policies are on their website. Which I'm sure is true. Just be aware when ordering here to understand and read carefully the policies. It was rather a rude awakening for me. The 2 expresso pods I have tried were good.

We really wanted to love this coffee, but we don't. My wife and i have been Nespresso devotees for decades. In recent years, we have used Peet's capsules, which are great, but we thought we'd try Artizan because it's organic and the capsules are "compostable," as the company puts it. We do recycle the Peet's capsules, but not religiously, so we thought for the organic aspect and the capsules—for which we do credit Artizan—it was worth a shot. Unfortunately, though the capsules do hold up in the machine, we're disappointed. Two reasons: 1) The coffee (across the four varietals we purchased) doesn't taste anywhere near as good as Peet's, or Nespresso's own, for that matter. That alone is a deal breaker for us, though taste is obviously subjective and your mileage may vary. 2) The capsules are indistinguishable from one another, so if you like to have your capsules available in a bin of some sort, or an organizer, there is no way to tell which varietal you are choosing. This is a weird oversight on the company's part. I suppose they expect you to keep the various capsules in their boxes so you know what varietal you are choosing, but that's just impractical, at least for us. We won't be ordering again.

Like the espresso inside the capsules that fits my Nespresso Original Machine but many times the capsules get destroyed and I get no espresso out of them because the capsules break apart in my machine. So I have to throw them out and put a new capsule in, thus wasting my money. Hope you make a sturdier capsule

The decaf Nespresso compatible coffee is the best decaf I have found. So thrilled with their coffee! But my experience calling for advice and getting help has been poor, abrupt and borderline rude. Then they ran out of the decaf after I finished my first 10 pod purchase. Hopefully it will be back in stock soon.

I started purchasing your coffee because Nespresso doesn't carry decaf lungos. I was happy to learn that you have a good variety and in my first purchase, I bought each decaf lungos that you carry. However, the differences between the varieties are minimal, all the more so since all are of average intensity with the result that to me the differences are barely discernible. Furthermore, since you don't color-code the capsules, so I cannot select from the container in which I hold the capsules. Disappointing, I have to say. But not impossible to fix, don't you think?

The flavor is good, but it takes two pods to make one long espresso.

The coffee I order is sometimes substandard (Mexican Lungo Decaf) Also the company charges my credit card for subscription orders that don’t even ship within a week I would go elsewhere except I haven’t found a decaf organic suitable, yet
