“I ordered the Johnny the Fox cigar-colored shell cordovan wallet and it has exceeded my expectations. It's hard to put it down! I had never heard of shell cordovan leather until watching the Ashland Leather YouTube videos by Phil, but now I love them so much I don't think one wallet is enough. I have my eye on getting a Fat Herbie style next. It's just a matter of which leather to choose. I love how these wallets break in over time and develop a patina. I love the smell when they first come out of the box. Their styles are great, and I love the creative names of each of the wallets. And I haven't had to contact Ashland beyond the purchase, but I've heard from others that their customer service is top-notch, so that's a good feeling. I would highly recommend getting one of these wallets!”

“Ashland leather is fantastic. I recently got a Capone moneyclip in Cypress Brown and a natural valet tray. Both look absolutely fantastic. The money clip works great and can hold a single bill tightly without it falling out. The outer pockets for 'quick access' cards is very extremely useful. I had communicated with Ashland leather prior to my purchase and they were always quick to respond and answer my questions. I'm incredibly happy with my purchase.”

“What can I say, Ashland Leather is the # 1 leather crafter in my book, all my wallets totaling 9 Fat Herbies (custom) hand sewn & hidden pockets are just awesome, I love them all & they all get rotated every month, so clearly I need three more. I also have 5 belts or 6 I cant recall, anyways all are unique as well they are very customizable, from belt buckle upgrades to stitching or simply original, they are thick & excellent weight no discomfort best of all. I dream of visitng Chicago someday soon & my bucket list consist of eating into a 24 hr. food coma, visiting Ashalnd & having some custom Fat Herbies made while visiting Chicago, I can only hope that they allow me to enter the company & make it come true. “My only issue - and while this one is not your fault at all, you're the only one who could fix it - is all the order emails got sorted into my "promo" folder in gmail. And I ended up ordering a wallet a second time because I could not find an email receipt in my normal inbox. I only discovered it when I AGAIN could not find my order email. I am not sure how you fix that, but I know other companies their orders will show up in my inbox, even when their promo emails end up in Promo all the time. Like West Elm, for example. Your customer service dep was fine refunding it, I just thought you'd want to know. The other feedback I could give is when looking at the various versions of the blue wallet, it was not always obvious in the description what the difference was. Maybe I am just a novice when it comes to leather types, but some of the wallets looks identical in the pics, but the prices where 100+ bucks more.”
