“Highly recommended! I have purchased several items for myself and family members: 1) Bugs in natural shell, 2) Herbie in amaretto shell, 3) Frank in marbled black shell, 4) one shot in reverse black shell, 5) key vault in natural shell, 6) Capone in tan dublin, 7) Herbie in tan dublin, 8) vertical Bugs in blue dublin, 9) Lexington key case in tan dublin. The leather is fabulous. The workmanship is superb. The Youtube videos are informative and entertaining. Ashland (with Oniracom?) has done a terrific job of cross-promoting Horween into a recognizable consumer-facing brand. The all leather wallet construction---with no nylon---is the sort of durable quality one associates with Horween leather regardless of whether the cutting and stitching takes place in Chicago (Ashland) or overseas (Grant Stone, Meermin, etc.) Finally, the Horween leather, particularly the shell cordovan, has a wonderful natural smell to it. In contrast, my Shinki Hikaku shell cordovan wallet has a more chemical smell to it.”

“I own several things from Ashland. Most are small: Machine Gun Jack and Little Louise and a couple of Vault Key Holders. All in cordovan and one more Machine Gun Jack in a CXL or Dublin. I saw a video promoting the Fat Herbie, which I've had my eyes on for several years. The video shows the Herbie fitting into a jeans back pocket. That erased my concerns about the size. I ordered a Fat Herbie in Natural Cordovan (and a One Shot Card Case to accompany it). A couple of days later, I got my card case and a Fat Herbie in Natural CXL. As I told Phil and Matt, the wallet in Natural CXL is a beautiful wallet. But when you've decided on cordovan, you want cordovan. They were wonderful about correcting the error as fast as possible. I am a very happy repeat customer.”

“The workmanship is exceptional. My boyfriend loved the wallet and he was actually the one who hinted at your company when I decided to buy him a new wallet. The only down side was that I had asked for his initials to be inscribed on the wallet via email but it was not. The request had been done after the purchase so I understand how it got lost in the details. Other than that we could not be happier and I’m actually looking into buying my boyfriend a belt from your company to match. Great job!”
