“Delivery was prompt, the leather was nice and the holder was well made. The only down side was the metallic money clip on the holder, not as sturdy as expected and it doesn’t hold much. Overall, a pleasant experience shopping from Ashland and will be purchasing more.”

“I have purchased a Louie, Tony, and Herbie. All looked very nice. This Capone looked like a display model with dirt/stains and tooling marks on the exterior. As a patina will build and I will probably put other marks on it, the Capone just had a head start. Being a reverse leather, I know it is difficult to clean. Nevertheless, it is still a nice wallet for when the Fat Herbie is too big.”

“It is a beautiful wallet, a little stiffer than I thought, and my husband is having trouble getting his cards in and out as a result. We assume that it will get softer and more pliable over time. If you have any recommendations, let us know. Funny (sort of) story... Our dog got into our Christmas presents and tore this one open a couple days before Christmas. Luckily she only was able to put a couple teeth marks in the wallet and some claw marks. It will have its own unique character, that's for sure!”

“Bought both an iWatch band and a Shell Cordovan wallet. The watch band is made very well and is nice with very good looks. Leather is soft, has enough holes for sizing, and fits the iWatch grooves perfectly. The wallet leather is amazing....truly a work of art in every way. It's thin enough to fit the front pocket as I wanted, holds a few folded bills and all of the cards I regularly carry. However, the one issue is the stitching. I keep getting ends of the stitching that are coming loose or something and are creating little burnt nibs that dangle and get caught on things. They're rather annoying and something I wouldn't have expected on a $200 wallet. I've fixed one, but now two more have popped up. Overall, happy with everything and I'm sure the stitching will sort it's self out and the leather will patina nicely.”

“Great products and presentation. The reason I’m putting a 4 instead of 5 was due to my order received being different that what I ordered. Vertical Bugs Moran received and the standard style was ordered. I emailed Ashland about my issue and inquired how to return. They automatically created a new order and promptly issued out a new corrected order. Whether I decide to keep it I don’t know, but I know great customer service and Ashland has it. Besides Tony the Ant is doing quite well.”

“I purchased to carry it in my mini bags to give myself a nice unique break from all these designer fashion house card holders I own. I also liked the idea of developing nice patina overtime from usage. It is a really nice piece made with good leather. I like how soft it is and how simple it is. There is no worry about having to care of hardware or delicate leather. I personally would prefer the logo to be little smaller and located on the side to enjoy the view of leather fully, but it is just my personal preference. But the center compartment of my card holder has two different thickness leather which I'm slightly concerned which one side will stretch out a lot as I use it since one side has the most thin piece of leather comparing to other parts. And the center compartment leathers are a bit separating at both side top corners but it can be intentional since the stitching dont tie in two pieces together at the top. It also came with a quite noticeable scratch right in the middle but it may have more to do with the shipping box came completely torn and open. But other than these things I mentioned Im quite satisfied with the purchase. By all means it is the most rustic piece I have ever purchased and owned but it also makes me very excited to use it.”

“The all-reverse black shell cordovan Tall Tony is outstanding. The choice of thickness for the various parts of the wallet are perfect. This Tony has a thinner piece on the outside of the bill slot, making the wallet much more slender than it otherwise might be. (In contrast, my amaretto shell Fat Herbie has a much thicker piece on the outside of the bill slot, making for a thicker/stiffer wallet that can't hold many bills and "creaks" when opening and closing.) I also purchased a reverse black shell Key Vault. The leather is great---matching the Tall Tony---but the snap is glitchy and often difficult to open/close. The Horween shell cordovan looks/smells/feels great. I have other wallets made from Shinki Hikaku shell and Rocado shell. Both are equally smooth and glossy, but they don't have that fabulous Horween "veg" fragrance.”

“I really wanted to give a 5 star review, being it’s a $250 wallet I wanted my fiancé to have the very best and even though the stamping looks great and the leather its self too I open the back slot where you hold the cash and there is a big marking....I’m not sure if it’s suppose to look like that, doesn’t seem right to me though and it’s only on the one side. I sure hope my fiancé will still enjoy this wallet. However the owner has wonderful customer service and stands behind is products so if my fiancé don’t love the wallet he will make it right! That says a lot.”

Hi Hope! If for any reason your husband doesn't love the wallet just let me know and we can swap it out. My goal is to get them a wallet that they love and will last a lifetime. I'd be curious to see what marking you are seeing -- it might be the Horween shell cordovan ink stamp which most people often want in their wallets.
