They booked to replace my van windscreen month ago and text me one day before to confirm that they are coming but no one turned up and did not bother to ring me when I rang them they said they will rebook it.

The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. My insurance company directed me to use them when my windscreen cracked. It has taken me numerous phone calls and waiting hours on end to get through to them and eventually after complaining to my insurance company and asking how I go about getting my £75 back they found an appointment for me 7 days after I contacted them.

Tried to book via insurance-been told 22nd June next appointment-this means my car is off the road until then as the crack is in my sightline also means my car will be without MOT as it expires before then, customer service just state they are busy-Autoglass have it in stock and can visit this week but my insurance don't deal with them-maybe because good service isn't as cheap as this... New insurance will be soon and will make sure its Autoglass cover not these cowboys

Shame they don't have 0 stars! To cut a long story short I was put through to them via budget, I had no rear windscreen, within five minutes I had paid my £75 excess to the very lovely helpful customer service rep and that's the last I've heard from them??!! I emailed and got a reply basically saying I was looking at June for a repair??! I paid someone else to do it and they keep saying I will get a refund but I've been dobbed off for two weeks now!! Lies after lies!

Reported windscreen completely broken and asked for a replacement windscreen and paid my excess. 36 hours later have had to phone auto windscreens to see what is happening. What sort of service is this, they had my landline number, mobile number and email address, worrying.

PLEASE DON'T USE! They have said to me today that they do NOT guarantee there repair work only the workmanship. (Which wasn't great) dispite it saying otherwise on their website. Aslo they don't give 100% customer satisfaction like they state on website. The best they can do is refund my insurance company and if I'm luckly I MIGHT get my £25 excess back. My repair has gone bad 18 months after repair. It can't be re-repaired. I was also told that 18 months is a "good" period for a repair. The company that was going to repair it (the other "auto" chip repair company) said they would replace the windscreen if it was there repair job gone bad. When I checked my paperwork it was autowindscreens (sadly) Customer service very poor. Service very poor. Do Not Use them!

I just tried to get my wind screen repaired by a rival company (my insurance company chooses) they couldn't repair it as it is s previous repair gone bad but I should call office and they should rectify the issue. Sadly the previous repair was with autowindscreen. I call then and the best they can do is refund my insurance company for the repair (I'm no longer with them) if I'm lucky I MIGHT get my £25 excess refunded but they don't do that normally. Also they want it made clear: Even though the website says "we guarantee all repairs and replacements" They only "standby repairs workmanship" and do not guarantee them. The best is a money back (to insurance company) offer. So I'm left with a windscreen that is worse than before the repair and hopefully £25 returned to me if I'm lucky. Extremely poor customer service. Please don't use- Admiral insurance no longer use them. I won't and will be going to the other company with "auto" in there name that does "guarantee ALL repairs"

28 minutes on hold and still waiting as I write..... Ringing as part of my windscreen has just flown off while driving - replacement took place 2 weeks ago. Second windscreen fitted as incorrectly fitted first windscreen and now parts are flying off.

Referred to Autowindscreens mid April, appointment booked for 4th May, they cancelled. Attempted to rebook, using thier text instruction, all Phone numbers continually on hold, they would only do immediate response to e-mails or text when they passed details to their service dept, NO responce, Finaly spoke to someone on 10th May was advised that earliest home attendance , I live NW London, would be 8 or 9 June. Alternatively, for a prompt service, I could go to one of thier depots. Peterbrough, Oxford or Portsmouth. Having paid out for being kept on hold and texting they now want me to incur more cost by driving to thier distant depots. What a joke!

So far its an estimated 6 weeks to replace a cracked windscreen with Autowindscreens using my Hastings Direct policy. The crack is 2ft long and getting bigger. Appalling service and I'm still not confident it'll be fixed when they said given the initial estimate was 4-5 days

Should be NO stars not one, Shocking, deceitful appalling no existent service! Never ever use this company. Called to book an appointment, £75 excess taken only then to be told I would have to wait five weeks for the replacement windscreen (not acceptable on a fully cracked windscreen). Suggested this was not acceptable so they offered to escalate the case, which I choose to do - what a mistake as a result of this, the original booking cannot be booked. No return call for four days, then spent over four hours on one day holding in order to be able to speak to someone, tried all numbers including new inquiries - still nothing. Called Auto-glass and got an answered call within three minutes and a booked appointment four days from the call. Never ever again - this is a shocking company and I am still trying to collect my excess back from them.

On the 21st April I contacted AW as instructed by my insurance company. The day before a stone-chip from a lorry became a major crack across the screen meaning a replacement. I was told the earliest appointment was (today) 9th May some 18 days without use of my car. Worse they insisted on my card details and the £70 excess before confirming the booking. At 13:15 hrs this afternoon AW rang and said that they were not coming as "the technician is away sick" (do they only have one?) "can we arrange another date" - yes well "the first available date is the 30th May" - can you believe that? - 39 days to fix a windscreen and be without a car!!!!!!!! So after the blue clouds clear AW agree to try and get someone else to do the job - "Nationwide" ring an hour or so later and say they will do it on Wednesday and that their normal turn around is only a day or so - nice lady - but - they want £70 (excess) to do the job - they agreed though to collect it on completion which is good - but now - well I ain't talking to AW - I got on to the insurers and got them to do it and get my original money back. Message to under-writers ditch Auto-windscreen a.s.a.p.
