I'd never choose to use Auto windscreens again and only did this time because it came with my insurance! I first noticed the chip on Wednesday 13th January... or it may have been 14th. This was just a small chip but was worried it might become something bigger with frosty nights. I was given Friday 22nd January but was telephoned the day before to be told a technician wouldn't be available, so REBOOKED for Wednesday 27th between 8 and 13:00. No one came so I telephoned at 14:30 to be told the computers were down so they didn't know who was supposed to have come and why they hadn't and couldn't arrange another time. No one telephoned me the next day so I phoned them and was told my technician had been off sick and it was REBOOKED for February 12th. This was cancelled the day before and REBOOKED for March 2nd! On Monday 29th I was telephoned to say it would need to be REBOOKED AGAIN and it would probably be a few weeks before another appointment was available! At this point I asked to speak to the manager. Jasmine was very apologetic and arranged for Michael to come the next day, today 1st March. Which he did, keeping me fully informed of when he'd arrive, and arriving when he said he would, was very polite and did a brilliant job! BUT, why did it necessitate me speaking to the manager, explaining this was the 4th time it had been cancelled, before I got this excellent service? Come on Auto Windscreens, you can do better than this! When the computers went down, I was told it was always happening! Well something needs to be done about it then! I have emailed my insurers to suggest they use another company.

Totally disappointed with the service I have received! Last year my window screen was replaced by yourselves and it's getting frost on the inside steaming up on the inside and the chassis number is sitting offline from where it should be. I phone your customer service team up and they said they have no idea when I would get a phone call she said it could be a week or a month if this is the case I will be going to trading standards, as this is not acceptable. Should have gone to autoglass.

Shocking customer service. I've been on hold several times for well over an hour. They finally called me to make an appointment, I was out and unsure which days I was free so they cancelled my claim and told me to submit a new one. One appointment was cancelled by them at the last minute. Catalogue of bad service, bad experience. Most frustrating thing is they never answer calls. Who has the time to sit for hours on hold? All in all very poor. If I didn't have to use them because of my insurance I would have gone elsewhere straight away. I can't believe their website promotes high levels of customer satisfaction and awards. Complete joke.

Absolutely useless - third time they've visited in two months - each time with the wrong windscreen. Near impossible to contact them by phone to rearrange. How does a company like this exist these days....

ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES My window screen was cracked on the first week of January so phoned Auto Window Screens via my insurance company .After waiting on the phone for over 30 minutes I was booked a fitting on the 3rd of February on the 2nd of February I was told they did not have a technician to do my job and booked another appointment on the 22nd February on the 21st February at 17.10pm I got a call to say they had no technician and wanted to book another appointment on the 16th March I have now taken 2 days off work(self employed) I have now lost 16hrs pay I will now be contacting Auto Glass. I would strongly recommend you Do Not use this company what a Complete Shambles!!!!!

If there was a zero rating option I would be selecting that. Having called to report a cracked windscreen in December 2015, I have twice been let down by this company. The 1st appointment was booked for January. No-one turned up and when I called was told that no technician had been booked. Appointment re-booked for today (20th Feb so some 3 weeks later) and again I am told that no technician has been booked again!! I have now booked for a 3rd time for next Saturday but have been told that they cant tell me whether it will be a morning or afternoon appointment so I feel another wasted day approaching. Feedback will also be given to M&S who are my insurers as they insist on using this company. "Total Customer Satisfaction" - I dont think so!

Now on my third appointment technician never calls to update windscreen not ordered how can this happen will renew my motor insurance with an insurer who does not use auto windscreens see what excuse thy have today very annoyed

Had a windscreen repaired, promised a life time guarantee. Couple of years down the road and the repair has failed and I have to now get a completely new windscreen. They refuse to refund the costs of the original repair or take any responsibility for it.

Terrible service. Called first on the 5th of Jan, got appointment soonest they could do 27th. Bad weather. Then made appointment for 11th of Feb. Turned up at the end of time slot[9 till 12] With wrong glass[green tint??] 18th still no glass.

Very poor service it's been two weeks so far for them to replace my windscreen supposed to be fitted last week bit someone entered my car details wrong your end so turned up with the wrong screen so rescheduled for today but I get a call from an Indian I couldn't understand telling me I have to wait another 9 day till they can do it so I'm still driving round with a nasty crack the whole length of my windscreen with my 4 and 7 year old in the car terrible service I'm now going to call my insurance company and request to use some one else

After waiting over 30 minutes before I spoke to an adviser I told that the earliest appointment was in 5 weeks time! I called autoglass up straight over and waited less than 4 minutes to speak with someone who booked my windscreen to be done 2 days later at a cheaper price and also they could go through my insurance company. Have complained to my insurance company and said for them not to use auto windscreens anymore as they are appalling!!! My advise go straight to autoglass!!

I can't comment on their ability to replace windscreens as they apparently failed to allocate someone to my job, I found this out after waiting for 5 hours for them to turn up in the 8-1pm slot I had booked. Their response to this (and I'd waited 2 weeks for the appointment) was that they'd need to reschedule a new appointment at the next available slot, there was no urgency from their perspective, no, I'll see if we can get someone round today/urgently as we'd made a mistake... nothing bar a slightly lame "sorry". Then they couldn't tell me when the next slot would be as their system was down, so they said they would escalated the call to the local branch, when I asked how long it would be until I heard from them the response was "I don't know, it depends on how busy they are" over 24 hours later, their 365, 24x7 service has failed to call me and I'm guessing I won't hear from them either. Time for me to call my insurance company and see if I can get another company to complete the job as these guys have no concept of customer service.

I have been messed around by these cowboys since sept 15 and still don't have the screen fixed . They turned up this Saturday but didn't bring the windscreen with then ! last visit was the same . previous to that they replaced the cracked screen with a chipped one and split black mastic over the interior trim !!! I never get a call back from them , they even hang up on you !.....AVOID AT ALL COST

This company is extremely bad and I have never had such bad customer service before. I wasted three days annual leave as they failed to turn up initially and cancelled my appointment with an hours to go of my scheduled installation time (wasting a day of my Annual Leave) They rescheduled for a week and half later and turned up with the wrong screen (even though i phoned originally and said could you bring a heated screen as well as the standard version). The Engineer was helpful and said he would order the correct screen. Turned up for a 3rd appointment and right type of screen, wrong colour. The engineer said he re-order the right colour, which he was going to do, but advised me fitting would be 4th March 2016 (nearly a month later). The company clearly can't meet any targets or customer expectation. I've escalated to my insurance company now and I have another company coming this week to fit the screen. My advise is avoid this company at all costs and ask your insurance company for an alternate fitter.

Don't touch them with a barge pole! My rear windscreen was completely shattered. I called Auto Windscreens (via my insurer) at 8.50am 4th February and today 8th February, even though my case has apparently been prioritised, I haven't received a call back. As my car was open to the aftermath of storm Henry and the pending storm Imogen I had no alternative other than to employ a local repairer (who did the job within 4 hours of my call) and take the financial hit. AVOID

Had a Cracked windscreen before Christmas 2015, Again like other people told that I could only use Auto Windscreens, the best they could do was 5 weeks 19th January 2016, the guy turned up midday, Nice bloke, he had come from Peterborough to the East of Suffolk over 100 miles away, when they say they have a depot in Norwich, 30 miles away. Fitted screen and I noticed there was a scratch on the inside, he tried to polish it out but could not do it so phoned up his depot to organise a replacement screen to be fitted, they said it would take two weeks and it got booked in again on the 8th February? Taken another day off work and low and behold no one has contacted me to say anyone is coming, and I have spent 1 hr on their 24hr 365 day contact number and all I get is that all there advisers are busy and thank you for calling, that’s at 2am on Sunday the 7th Feb, still on phone so do not hold much hope of getting anywhere ore anyone turning up tomorrow. Disgraceful service, I will get someone else to replace the screen and send the bill to them, as this is the second day I have lost a day’s pay.

Windscreen was cracked and i was advised hat i could only use Auto Windscreen by my insurer. Rang them and the best they could do is 4 WEEKS.. Contacted insurer and they managed to get the appointment changed to 2 weeks.. Today was supposed to be the day i had it repaired.. AND GUESS WHAT.. No show from Auto Windcreens.. Rang them and chased and was told that the engineer was not working today.. SO iam back to square one... They are the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to deal with..

Given job by my insurers at 9.57. No contact from them all day as a result vehicle was left unsecured overnight. Given no indication of when the job was likely to get done with the excuse that they were extremely busy and had no tech in the area. Do not use.

Absolutely awful customer service. More than 3 hour wait and still no answer when trying to rearrange windscreen replacement date. No confirmation of first appointment sent and insurance details still not validated by auto windscreens can only put this down to slack protocol or laziness. Have now give up and going to let them show up with nobody at address and waste their time after all it seems they are not actually that bothered.

Tried to book a chip repair as they are insurers recommended repairer and was given a booking in 6 days,(from a 24/7 day operation!!! , Got my broker to arrange someonelse the next day ,so tried for 2 days to phone and cancel booking , tried all 3 variations of new booking , existing booking and customer service but only got the same recorded message of "all our operators are busy" held on several occasions for 10-20 mins and once for 35min!!!! gave up and requested call back from their site link, still waiting ,so someone is going to have a wasted journey monday.
