Auto windscreens had not ordered all of the parts. My understanding was that they never order an many rubbers as they should do because they usually get some left over from other jobs and it saves them money. However, I have a rarer car (Toyota IQ) and the gentleman that came to replace my windscreen could not do the job because he the right parts had not been ordered. He was absolutely fantastic (wish I could remember his name!) and phoned many of his colleagues before finding the part he needed, driving 40mins to fetch it and finishing the job on the day it was booked. Poor service from auto windscreens who text me the wrong date and time initially so I had to re-schedule... again! AND didn't order all the parts id paid for. Fantastic fitting staff who saved the day and made it a more positive experience.

Communications from initial contact right through to completion of the task was excellent, the windscreen replacement went smoothly and the fitter did an excellent job. I am very pleased indeed.

No complaints with service. Fitter arrived within allotted time, & was in fact able to repair the chip without the need for a new windscreen (as expected). Done in 20 mins without fuss or trouble. Thank-you.

Having had the misfortune of having our windscreen chipped on two separate occasions within a month we received exemplary customer service from Auto Windscreens on both occasions. Both fitters were professional, courteous and kept us informed throughout the process on both occasions. Thank you to both

Very impressed with the service. Wayne the fitter from Chester, was helpful and friendly and fitted the new glass promptly. He also tidied up the car which had lots of shattered glass. Kept up to date via text messages and Wayne rang up 1st thing to say what time he would arrive. Thanks for a great service!

Very easy to book an appointment and got one within 24hours. However, the woman on the phone did query whether I was the best person to speak to about my own car - in general, if someone is calling they're already the best person to speak to. Engineer arrived earlier than booked, however he did call to make us aware (and it worked out better for us). The work was very quick and the engineer was clear about the risks and costs before he began. Generally very good service.

They came to repair the windscreen... saw a leak the next day and loads of moisture collecting in the car. Turns our half of the screen was not glued at all. Thanks

Fantastic service. Awoke to a smashed rear window. My claim was passed from my insurance company to Auto Windscreens. I was contacted by AW very quickly and informed that if I like they could complete the work for less money than my insurance excess. They kept me updated through out the day and replaced the window in afternoon. The chap worked through pouring rain and gales. Was polite, reassuring and efficient. Completely cleared up all the smashed glass mess from inside and outside of the car. Left it as good as new.

Having been given an initial time and date for replacing my windscreen as between 1pm and 5pm on the 5th November. I received a phone call on that morning from the fitter saying it would be around 3.30pm, rang him at 4pm to find he was still an hour away from me. when he finally arrived, the screen was the wrong one, saying there were two for my model of car. the differences being the shading around the sensor was longer. why not ask me the customer to measure this area to confirm which one was fitted to my car and get it right first time? He made a phone call to his office where they re booked it for the 12th November. He told me it would be booked in for 1.30pm. Again received a call on that morning to find it was going to be around 4pm. luckily he mistakenly rang at 3pm to tell me he was on his way and it would be an hour, asked him where he was? knowing where he was i replied by telling him he was only 30 minutes away. He then informed me he had rung the wrong number and he was supposed to be going an hour in the wrong direction which meant he would not be with me until nearer 7pm. thankfully he had the sense to ring this customer and rearrange that booking. the fitter himself was efficient and competent in his job, my problem is with the people who organise his day. They do not seem to have any idea on the time needed to do each job and where each location is. If they did, they would be able to maximise what is achieved each day. Regards Martin Yexley.

I was very impressed with the service provided. After the call to my Insurance company I probably received the call from Auto Windscreens within 15 minutes. The Gentleman was very helpful in fitting in a time slot for repair to suit my needs. On the day of repair I was very impressed with the level of service received and I was even made a lovely cup of coffee whilst I waited in a lovely clean and tidy waiting room. So overall I am very happy with the level of service.

I wasn't actually present when windscreen fixed today but my dad was and as a man of few words he said they were bloody brilliant:)
