Please if you want to keep your hard earned money! Stay away. I sent money in dicember to Nigeria ! It never got there . They said they had a problem and the money will Be sent back! Nothing came back. It’s almost February and nothing. They are thieves . I should have read reviews before. I use Spoko now and they have higher rates and are ore reliable. It is no surprise that Azimo has so many many bad ratings .. Nigeria government has officially banned them from making transactions. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY! They are thieves just taking your money. They take one and deliver one! Please earn ur own money! I have earned my with sweat!! I am still waiting for my money!!!!!

SCAMMERS! FRAUD! I have transferred £2,100 for my family last August 1,2020. The family have not received. Despite the promise in their website of only few hours transaction to be completed. I contacted support service through email and messages and ask what had happened, they then told me to send support documents which I complied. Three days after, Nothing was received from my family. I contacted them again to cancel my transaction as the money is urgently needed. August 3, They returned in my account only £2,000. There is clear deficit of £100. Up until now, they don’t reply to my email or messages in the app. Please don’t be fooled with them. Today, August 5,2020. Still they don’t reply to me nor give me feedback what happened. There is no number that I can call. They still have not returned to my account £100 the deficit. I have kept all my evidences through screenshots and my bank statements for future reference. I will then, escalate this to FCA if I will not hear from them anytime soon. I have tried to access my account but they seemed tried to deactivate my account? Errors had been appearing. These people aren’t genuine. Can’t imagine they have been doing this scam in this pandemic times.

Not safe, avoid at all costs. Won't answer emails or telephone calls about my money. Instead of giving back what they've taken, they closed my account. Of course I insisted, only to find they have blacklisted my data. Don't lose your money, stay away from Azimo.

Absoluly NO GO ! I only wanted to transfer 50 euros, after transferring the money to Azimo they start asking me for lots of documents and asking me lots of questions .... but damn it's for only 50 euros, if it was 50,000 euros I would understand but for 50? after answering their questions and transferring documents then suddenly radio silence! no return from them, the money is still blocked at Azimo! cancellation requested but then nothing!

AZIMO ! AZIMO !! AZIMO !!!, they used to be good years back but they are now rich and their transfer rate is terrible, Transferwise is a better option for people sending money to Nigeria. Azimo blocked my account and refused to allow me to send money with there services because they think they are smarter than Nigerians. They show you a certain amount of money and deliver a lower rate to the receiver. I found this out because I was curious of some Naira missing in each transaction. After I reported this, they decided to block me from sending money. Azimo can be classified as professional criminals, Stay away from them or research yourself and believe.

I gave one Star becouse I could not give less than that. Azimo is ridiculous, I highly recommend you send money with any alternative available even though the rate could be worst. What Azimo will do is, be good at your 2 first sent, and Devil from that on, every month they will receive your money very easily, and after taking it out of your account, they will hold that for a while. Even though you already sent them your source of funds, they will ask you again, and again, and the same proof of funds sent last month (Payslip) with the income of 3500 and e Azimo outcome of 1800, they will come up after few days saying prood rejected, insufficient funds. For me never again, this is a Big Mafia, last month was a nightmare, after solving it, I asked if they will ask again this "source of funds" they return an email saying "No, you provided it, so that's enough for us" nevertheless this month another nightmare, even worst now, my payslip with the income of the numbers above, is not suffucient, they will hold that for a while, work with my money, and while they are playing around, the money I sent to support my sister with my mother in bed will not arrive.

I am writting this for the awareness of everyone. I sent 350 Euro from Germany to my sister in USA Feb 3. it was debited on my bank Feb 1. Then azimo messaged me that the transaction was cancelled. 350 euro didnt reflected on my azimo account. i mssged them back why? since they cancelled the transaction. after that, to my surprise transaction was completed FEb 3. But until now FEb 17 my recipient didnt receive the money. I tried to email and call the customer service but they put me in circles. They will reply my email after 3 days. poor customer service. Dont be fooled by azimo.

I made a USD transfer advertised as fee-free by Azimo and the money arrived $20 short. They blamed intermediary fees but were unable to state which intermediary was used, nor why the transfer fee was quoted as $0. Repeated complaints have yielded dismissive responses each time. Absolutely woeful and dishonest service. You're much better off with Transferwise or even your bank.

Azimo's processes are a joke, you will spend hours on the phone to support (useless) and wait days for any responses. They told me to make a transfer, then mysteriously had a "technical issue" once I had made the payment, saying all they could do was to refund to money (+5days) or make a new transfer for a WORSE exchange rate. Go with transferwise instead...

I tried to send money last week and I realized 5 days later that the money didn't get through(usually it only takes 5 mins to 1 hr.) Money has already been taken out from my bank but the recipient never received it. I would understand if Azimo is experiencing difficulty at this time of crisis and I would appreciate it if at least they can send an autamated message saying whatever excuse they can make. I don't mind as long as I get my money back or atleast the money will get through.

I am really disappointed, I sent some money to support my family during the corona virus lock down....it didn't go through, i don't know why because everything is in order with the account. i email them and tried to talk with them for 5 days... and no answer. I asked to cancel the transfer before they took the money, and no....they did take my money. My family is waiting for that support....I do understand the crisis but honestly, I am a key worker I have to swap with my colleague to resolve the issue all the morning trying to get in touch with them and no luck. I am just trying to get in touch with them by any means, no phone no answer back and my family waiting for the money..... I hope they don't have elderly parent waiting for support. every time you are close to speak with someone they just close the chat or sent you stupid meessage

DISAPPOINTMENT IS NOT THE WORD I attempted to transfer a considerable sum from the UK to Australia. I've just relocated and did not want to use my British credit/debit card to make purchases (including Christmas presents!) due to the obvious financial drawbacks. I was heartened by the statement on Azimo's website; "most of our foreign transfers take one working day". Dear reader, do not be fooled! I created an account and completed all the necessary steps to action the transfer. This took ten minutes. Two days of obsessively checking my Australian bank account later, I eventually received an email from Azimo advising that my Australian bank had declined the transfer as my postcode was missing from the beneficiary profile (bearing in mind that the foreign transfer 'experts' Azimo do not request a beneficiary postcode when setting up the transfer). I was then asked to set up a new transfer (with postcode details included), and advised that Azimo would relocate the funds for a second transfer attempt. I did not have to pay a second time, however Azimo did see fit to deduct a further £2.99 for a re-processing 'admin fee'. What exactly these admin fees are funding I do not know, but it certainly isn't staff training - all correspondence I received seemed to be a copy-and-paste job. Well the staff can copy and paste away if I receive my funds in a timely manner, I thought. My hopes were to be dashed. Over 24 hours later, I received another email entitled: "your transfer has been cancelled". Once my heart had finished sinking I managed to read that "your transfer was declined again"; and also that "we are currently working on fixing this issue that is affecting transfers to Australia (and other countries) and we should expect it during the month of January". This begs a few questions: did my bank refuse the transfer, or is there a technical issue on Azimo's end? If the latter, why was this information not readily available on their website? At the very least why was I not made aware of this when Azimo requested that I set up a second transfer? My helpful friend signed off with "Meanwhile have a nice day!", choosing to forget that people who don't buy their partners Christmas presents do not have a nice day, or indeed a nice week. Moral of the story: don't bother. Azimo suck ASS-imo. So ends this Yuletide tale of woe. Off to a better provider I go.
