Same as all the other reviews …. Wish I’d read this before ordering. Paid over £500 for 5 bar stools on pre order for end July. Chased and told end of August, now told Mid-Dec. Not answering phone or responding to emails so will have no choice but to do a charge back through credit card

On the day my order was due to arrive, phone call to say not in stock of which asked for a refund. 10 days later, still nothing and spoke to them saying can take up to 30 days. Joke of a 'company'.

God! Where to begin?! I made my order in July...enquired about it’s whereabouts in August...and when I EVENTUALLY got through to speak to someone, I was informed delivery would be January 2022! So, obviously, this was not an option for me, and I requested a refund...which I was informed would take 15 working days! All sorted now though...via my credit card company. End of. 👎👎👎👎👎

A sham. Bar Stool Co. is now Houzz. They took ~320usd from me and never sent my zen casa Leiden chair. Then they shut down the website and started another business identity / entity.

I also ordered barstools and when they came, they were cheap looking but expensive to buy. I called and emailed for several weeks and finally got a response and ups labels from them. I sent them back and weeks later no refund. Finally received an email saying they do not give refunds????? I guess they just take your money!! bad bad bad company which i see their website no longer up so obviously taking advantage of people is their scam.

Item on back order for over six months. My 300+ USD gone, no PayPal protection after a few months, and no zen casa chair. Now Barstoolco has disappeared with no one responding to my requests. Very bad.

I noticed a charge on my credit card from Bar Stool Company. I have never ordered anything from them, called them multiple times (voice recording only) emailed their site multiple times, then contacted my bank who looked into this and agreed it was a fraudulent charge. Interesting that this company never once returned my calls, my emails or notices from the bank! Making a police report is next.

I wish I could give them negative stars. It is a scam. I ordered 3 bar stools worth $800 two months ago and it was backordered. Now even their website is down and there is no way to reach them. Waste of money. Dont buy from them.

Placed order for 11 chairs, 1 office for 180$ and 10 dining for 385 a piece and received only 1 and the rest of the order is missing, no one answers and website is out of business please be aware it’s a scam, lost 3850$ from November of 2018 to the date- 03/11/19

We placed an order in Dec 2018 for 8 dining room chairs. We were getting emails stating separate shipments so we contacted them and stated we would like for them to all come at one time, because the first shipment would arrive while we were out of the country. They said that was no problem and they would hold first shipment till second was ready. That didn't happen. Thanks goodness for relative who happened to stop by to collect mail. After getting all chairs and assembled them, there was one chair that was defective on one leg mount. No matter what we tried, that one leg sat 5/8" off of floor and chair would wobble. On Jan 10, 2019, I called and was told to fill out online request for fastest support. I did and it states "A support person will contact you ASAP." As of today, March 8, 2019, no one has contacted us by phone or email. After a couple days, I started to call and now it puts you on hold for about one minute and then tells you to leave a message or contact them thru chat for fastest service. You will not be able to talk to anyone on phone. I left messages and chatted with several people and no help what so ever. I even filled out the online request 2 more times. They just do not care after you have made your purchase. We did a quick search before our order and the one or two sites we found rated them decent. But now when you do a broader search, you can see just how bad they are rated. I would say "Stay Away" from Bar Stool Co.!

This sham of a company took $1000 and never sent product. My story is the same story as everyone else’s - they do not answer emails or calls and now their website is down. We need better laws for consumer protection. I have been in touch with a lawyer and will be be filing a lawsuit against loser owner Dylan Bongiovanni for his reprehensible “business” practices. I’m sure he’ll claim chapter 11 and walk away from all this unscathed... which is REALLY unfortunate.

They will not respond. I feel I lost my money. I ordered three bar stools that I will never get. I ordered them in January requested updates numerous times. Now their website is non-existent. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT BUY. This company has NO integrity. SCAMMERS

I have NEVER had a more aggravating experience with any company than I've had with this one. I wish I could give them zero stars. I ordered a TV stand on December 30, 2018, with a shipping date of January 7, 2019. By January 9th, still no shipping date so cancelled order and received a cancellation e-mail on same date. Two hours after that e-mail, I received an e-mail from Fed Ex showing item was shipped and given a tracking number. Called Fed Ex and reported the order was cancelled and requested they ship item back to sender. Received confirmation from Fed Ex that item was shipped back to sender and given a name of person signing for item when received by them. Called my credit card company and disputed the charge as I had made numerous phone calls to company for a refund with no positive outcome. When Bar Stool Company responded to my credit card company, they outright lied to them and told them the item was shipped and was received by me. The credit card company therefore placed the charge back on my account. Numerous phone calls later and I was required to fax all my documentation back to credit card company showing that I NEVER received item and providing them with date of return and who signed for item. Now, I'm waiting for the credit card company to charge back the amount from Bar Stool Company and give me a refund. I received a canned letter from credit card company showing they have decided in my favor and will remove charge again from my account. I have been working on this issue for over two months and I still do not have a refund on my account. Now I find out that the credit card company is yet again contacting Bar Stool Company and giving them 90 days to reply to my dispute. They lied to the credit card company the first time, what's to stop them from lying again? Bar Stool Company no longer answers the phone on their customer service line and they have shut down the on-line chat. The only way you can get in touch with them is through e-mails, which after a month and a half, I still haven't received a reply. I have contacted my State Senator and written the Better Business Bureau to file a formal complaint against this sham company. My credit card company felt so bad about what this company is doing to me, they issued a $50.00 credit on my account to help defray the stress I have experienced with Bar Stool Company. It's really amazing and baffling that a sham company can place a charge on your account in a matter of seconds, but it can take months to process a refund even if you have signed evidence showing you never received the item. Obviously the laws in this country favor the businesses and not the consumers!

I placed an order early February and said it would be delivered by Feb 14th, however I STILL have not received my order! I Never got a confirmation email, although my payment was processed ($800+). I can't get in touch with anyone and have left several voicemails and messages the past few weeks. This is unacceptable. HIGHLY do NOT recommend!

NO RESPONSE TO MY 29 EMAILS AND NO LIVE CHATS ARE AVAILABLE AS MENTIONED ON YOUR PAGE THAT YOU TOOK DOWN! THANKFULLY WE ARE PROTECTED BY OUR BANKS! I HOPE YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE! I placed an order at the end of December for a small stool. They sent me an email on 01/04/19 that they were on back order and should be in stock in 1-2 weeks. I've emailed them twice now on 1/28 and 2/27 and NEVER received a response. When you try to call, they tell you to email, text, or chat support for a faster response time. What a scam.
