“To be honest, I’m not sure what I think about BARE Cremations. I bought two prepaid cremations in 2020, one for mum and one for myself. We live in Townsville. Mum passed away on the 19th June about 10.30pm. She was in a Nursing Home. I had given them all BAREs details. When the home rang BARE to report the death, they were told that BARE didn’t service Townsville. Imagine my shock to be told that, just having lost my mum. Four frantic phone calls later, we managed to talk to a lovely lady at BARE who told us she would do what she could for us and would ring us back. About 15 minutes later she rang with the news that she had arranged for a Townsville company to pick mum up from the Nursing Home that night, then the next day BAREs people from Mackay would pick mum up and drive her down to the other side of Brisbane, where she would be cremated and then her ashes would be posted back to us, express post. Mum didn’t get to Brisbane until 23rd June. This is not what we were expecting. We thought she would be cremated in Townsville and her ashes brought to us, not sent through the post. If BARE do not service Townsville, why sell the prepaid cremations at all. If they used to but no longer do, why didn’t they inform everyone who has bought prepaid plans already that Townsville, in fact all of North Queensland are no longer serviced by BARE. Sofie the nice lady we spoke to who arranged things for us was great, very kind and sympathetic.”

“Our family sadly lost our gorgeous Dad( Husband and Pop) He was very insistent that he wanted a no-fuss- cremation as he wanted us not to get overwhelmed by all the hype of having a fancy funeral. He was right! we went to Bare as he'd seen the advertisement on TV and thought it was very funny and right up his alley. Bare's website was incredibly easy to navigate and the follow-up from the initial consult was so on point and we were given so much support and understanding. It allowed us to focus on the more important things like celebrating our dad's life and we did this with the family in our own special way- which was so lovely. My dad did, of course, join us in our celebrations in his lovely Urn -which was placed on a table with his favourite bottle of scotch and a photo of himself and mum. Thank you Bare for making our journey so much easier. Its gives us a very different perspective of how a funeral should be.”

“We felt very organized and accomplished when we organized our Prepaid Bare cremations for ourselves in 2021 because we wanted to save our children having to worry about our funerals. I didn’t however, think one of us would have to use it so soon. I felt fully supported from the very first phone call I had to make to Bare to report my Jacks passing. Bronnie became my support person in that difficult time , she made me feel as if I wasn’t alone. I was able to keep our family reassured also, because of Bronnie ringing and keeping me up to date with each and every step along the way. I definitely recommend Bare Cremations. I know when it’s my turn to use the services, the Bare team will be there to support my family though the process. Thank you Bronnie ❤️”

“Fantastic Support, Considerate and Caring. It is different for each family who has someone pass away, In my case my husband of 40 years. Devastated and almost unable to speak, I was blessed with a local contact from Bare who truly cared about what was happening in my life being that he and I were co-dependent . His passing was unexpected and with the help of Bare I was able, with assistance and lots of patience and understanding of the staff to have a Cremation for my husband and we will be able to be scattered together in the future I am very comfortable with the choice and strongly recommend the services of Bare God Bless Them.”

“So happy with how simple and easy the whole process was.. Even the online tasks could be easily completed with a mobile phone.. No complicated scanning or uploading documents.. Really took the pressure off. Although simple, still felt respectful and genuine. Thanks Bare.”
