“Bad communication. After filling out the necessary forms outlining who to contact about
Mum's funeral, on two occasions the contact was made to the wrong person. I found out the day after my mother was cremated that the cremation had already taken place. This was only because I contacted Bare about what was going on. They had contacted the wrong person re mum's cremation date. So I missed the opportunity to reflect on my Mum that day. The second time was when my mum's ashes were being delivered to me. Once again they contacted the wrong person. I feel like it was a waste of my time even filling out the paperwork. There seems to be a lack of communication in the Bare environment. Even though apologies were offered it was still very upsetting to be notified AFTER my Mum was cremated.”

After making initial enquiry i received a phone call explaining the process
I agreed to accept their cremation only offer
A few days later my brother died and i contacted Bare around 7am Sunday morning and they emailed me a couple of forms to complete and sign and Bare went to Aged care facility later that day after receiving approval from UAW that my brother was ready for collection
Received a phone call advising me that my brother was booked to be cremated on Thursday morning
On Friday i received a draft copy of death registration with Births Deaths and Marriages that i had completed earlier
I read through the document and made a couple of amendments and forwarded back to Bare for official registration
On Monday Morning received invoice for cremation and confirmation of updated amendments to document for registration document
on Wednesday i received notification that my brothers ashes were ready for collection
Unfortunately due to Covid 19 lockdown i am unable to collect ashes for now
Very fast efficient and professional staff who kept me informed of every step of the process
Would definitely recommend everyone to use Bare
