A lot of interest shown by builders. They request for all the details for the project. Then you never hear back from they. Waste of time and effort.

I had a very concerning experience using Bark.com. When submitting a request, the platform asked for my email address and phone number and stated that my contact information would be safe. However, within just a few minutes of submitting my details, I received six to seven phone calls from different contractors. This made me feel that my phone number had been widely shared, and I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. More seriously, one contractor who contacted me through Bark.com later caused significant financial loss. I paid a deposit of $12,000 for roofing work that never properly proceeded. Afterward, I discovered that the business information provided by this contractor could not be verified, and the company did not appear to be properly registered. Based on this experience, I am very concerned about the level of screening and verification of service providers on this platform. I believe Bark.com needs to significantly improve how contractors are vetted before allowing them to contact customers. Due to the privacy concerns and the risks involved, I will not be using Bark.com again, and I would caution others to proceed very carefully.

I paid a high deposit to a Chef and he didn’t turn up to cook my family NewYears Eve dinner. He sent a message at 4:21 am on the day saying he was ill. I still don’t have my deposit back!

over charge for work what was done , unfortunately didn’t finish and the roof still see light coming through when u go into the loft area which was not there before they started Very poor quality job , hopefully they have the decency to come and finish bye a very unsaturated customer Mr GwAdmans Still waiting for receipt s Will find and hopefully get them to finish the job

I came to your sight looking for a local tax accountant. I asked for one close by and needed that because I had papers to present to them and so I wanted to be able to walk into their office and sit down and talk to them. ALL the replies I got were from interstate or the other side of town. Not what I asked for and completely useless to me and a complete waste of time. I had to call them up or seek them out on the web to find out WHERE they were located. As per my request they were not what I had requested. Your site proved to be completely useless and worse, a waste of my time. I would never use you again!

Very poor experience I have chased more than 56 leads and spent almost $800 to $1000 did not get a single lead. Not to recommended this platform to others .

I have been conned out of £2500. By a builder who contacted me after I went through Bark requesting a builder, a guy Derrick who claimed to work for (crown landscaping ,elite contracts)gave all the write vibes and I foolishly paid upfront.
