The contracts registered with Bark are not vetted and often customers could be trapped into contracting with salespeople that over promise and underdeliver. While contracts and quotes are taken that match the work and effort - there is a tendency that these contractors are just trying to get a contract and promise additional work to be done along with the main work. This often results in customer having to pay more than the quoted and contracted amount to get all the work disussed done and on time... There should be better vetting to ensure salespeople are able to deliver what they promose to do and not leave the customer unhappy and helpless due to guilt of trying to save some money but ending up paying more..

Had 3 reply's 2came one had no pictures said he would send some never got them,other one came measured up was there for about 5 minutes said I would get estimate never came,and third said they would phone to make an estimate but never phoned.

The matching process is good, but I found that companies didnt contact me as they had to pay by credits. This is a shame as it limited the reposnses i got

he turn up at 10,,then said i only work till 4,,put up 4 poster bed,,,ad said to put up cctv and pictures,,NOT DONE,said he would take old sette away like base of bed both items put around the side of my bungalow first quote was £150 then £20 to take stuff to tip not done,,,,he said he would come back tomorrow and hang pictures up DIDNT TURN UP,,,also took £170 cash in hand.just for putting up 4 poster bed. £20 rubbish tip money.

I booked Silvy Creative as a wedding photographer. He said deposit was refundable. After I paid his deposit he stopped responding so I canceled the booking and now he won’t reply about refunding me or respond at all.
