Do you seriously forget how you treated punters in the pandemic! Closed doors! No refunds! Your company was a disgrace and still is I wouldn't use you if you were the last travel agents on the planet

Arrived in Rome for a holiday which was gifted to me. Private transfer didnt arrive. Contacted Barrhead Travel told to take a taxi to hotel which was 60 Euros and this would be refunded. Spoke to 3 different people and was actually told not our fault we dont drive the taxis. My return transfer was cancelled without my knowledge. I have found there customer service to be appalling at best. All paperwork provided in person to staff at Braehead and surprise surprise still awaiting a refund. I have found them to be rude and dismissive and i wouldnt recommend having any dealings with this company

Shambolic company. Barrhead travel port Glasgow. Holiday was a disaster, accommodation awful. Barrhead travel didn’t care. Been giving me the run around for months. Still not compensation. They washed their hands if all the problems. I will never use them again. Advice to anyone would Be to contact rip off Britain.

We would highly recommend Barrhead Travel, Victoria Square, Belfast. Kelly and her team were so helpful to us when our travel arrangements were disrupted at Marco Polo Airport 21st October 2022 and Munich Airport 22nd October. We will be using Barrhead Travel for future holidays knowing we will receive a first-class service.

Booked a cruise great. Good price. But the after sales care is shocking I'll never book with them again. Once they have your money they not interested . Trying to speak with someone is hopeless. Waiting on calls back hopeless chasing people up not good never return calls or e mails. Told nothing about tickets etc .

AVOID AVOID AVOID They are lovely and helpful till something goes wrong. I have been chasing a refund for over £11,000 for a cruise since end of May. My phone calls and emails have been ignored Would never use them again---you have been warned

Worst travel company ever, the store at the Glasgow Fort has caused massive problems with not delivering holiday that was ordered, they try and blame the customer, they certainly don't care about customer care, as long as they have your money, will not be using again and will be taking legal action to recover costs

We found out from a third party our holiday hotel had been changed which we considered to be very important information and further more allocated to a room with a terrible view

Advice for anyone looking to find flight deals - do it yourself online direct with airline! ended up paying £350 more for ticket booked with Barrhead, would have been cheaper booking direct with BA and would have included checked in bag, which wasn’t included with Barrhead.

Been waiting since the 1st of March for a refund! I have booked a further holiday with them but they couldn't transfer the money to that holiday! This is originally from a holiday that was booked in Sept 2019 that had to be rearranged, so they've had my money nearly 2 years! The money is due soon for the next holiday which I can't pay til I've been refunded! Let's see if they'll wait several months for their money?! I have rang numerous times regarding the refund & I'm still no further & now I'm being ignored! Do not use this company just book direct with a decent travel agent!

Was advised to pay outstanding amount so we could claim a refund which we did at beginning of year. Holiday got cancelled and refund was granted March. It's now nearly June and still no sign if refund only to be told it had been refunded by TUI in credit note so now they have to get it swapped over. No customer service department to speak to all complaints have to go through branch manager. What company doesn't have a customer service department

Tried to get help but was a waste of time then new CEO is as blindsided and uncaring as her predecessor took 800 pound from a disabled man got his mother to pay even though they knew her name house been removed disgusting company by the way this is for 6 says bed breakfast in the Scottish highlands be carefully not a trustworthy family orientaited company

After booking our trip on the Rocky Mountaineer train trip in Canada for Oct. 2020 it had to be postponed, not once but twice. Since then Anne MacAldowie, at Barrhead Travel, has bent over backwards to fulfil all our travel requirements. She has worked tirelessly, in the most enthusiastic and friendly way possible, to deliver a first class itinerary, including a couple of unexpected little extras. I would thoroughly recommend Barrhead Travel to deal with any holiday plans you may have. Excellent

Well to say I am shocked is an understatement! A holiday from 2020 was rebooked for 2021 meaning that Barrhead Travel had our £3,500 for now 2 years. Trying to support a local travel company during this pandemic we didnt mind this. However, it looks like this years is not going ahead either. Although the team have been pleasant, they wanted us to move it to next year again. NO - we are not doing this now so decided to cancel ourselves knowing that we will lose £180 deposit. BUT.......... only to be told by Barrhead travel that we can expect to wait 16 weeks!!!! to get our money back! NOT ACCEPTABLE

Had holiday booked for September 2020, holiday paid in full in June, think it was in the region of £8600, still no signs of any payment. Had a good experience with Paul booking the holiday and told him we understood it was out of everyone’s control and we’d be straight back to rebook with him when things settled again. 9 months since the final payment, 14 months since the first instalment payment. Don’t think I’ll be so keen to use again, even Ryan air reimbursed quicker for our other holiday.

Holiday to Krakow was cancelled due to covid, although this was bought and paid for last year Barrhead travel are still holding on to our money even though the carrier who were jet2 are refunding within 2 days, no ones interested just getting usual brush off that its 90 days to refund after departure date, this takes us into end of June, its a disgrace in these current times that they can effectively hold on to your money till they can be bothered to pay out. oh and still waiting on returned call from Chris in Liverpool branch, avoid this SCAM company

The booking process is relatively easy and painless instore at their Bearsden outlet. But oh my their refund process is horrendous. Despite many public assurances that "your money is safe" why is it that they cannot refund you? I guess they just ignore the consumer laws and do as they please. They keep saying that they are only agents and that they have to wait for the money from their tour operators. Eh, no my contract was with you. You are the company that took my money. Please avoid this scam company like the plague, or Covid19 because they simply ignore you and refuse to pay up. Avoid them. If there was a no star review I would do that.

Asked me to pay the full balance of the holiday then advised me it was cancelled a few days later. No refund from them, despite promising one and I ended up getting my credit card to refund me. No communication or explanation from the whatsoever. Disgusting service. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
