“After trying for a refund for months finally was recommended to get in touch with Tina King from Saltcoats branch and she sorted refund out within the week, we had been going round in circles with everything and getting different stories. So disappointed with lack of communication from Barrhead travel on the whole and don’t think we would book with them again due to that experience.”

“It was our first trip to Canada and the Barrhead team tailored their package to suit our requirements. They were very helpful and flexible, which, together with their knowledge of Canada, helped to create a superb holiday at a reasonable cost. Over the 3 weeks of our stay there were a few glitches - one of the hotels wasn't to the standard we would have expected but, other than that, overall the holiday was amazing.”

“We have frequently booked with Barrhead Travel in Clydebank. On this occasion we booked a holiday to Benidorm. The staff were very helpful as usual. It was a Thomas Cook holiday on an Easy Jet Plane. Initially I was not happy with that. We stayed at the Flash hotel, the staff in the hotel were really helpful. The flights were very good and everything went to schedule. My only complaint would be the length of time on the bus, leaving Benidorm, on our return to Alicante Airport. We were over an hour before we left Benidorm as we were touring lots of other hotels collecting other holiday makers. We were almost two hours in total! I Will definitely go back to Barrhead Travel at Clydebank but I doubt if I will ever return to Benidorm.”

“Kieran in Belfast is very helpful with a wide ranging knowledge of various destinations. However we found the web site quite awkward to navigate especially the 'log in to your account'. Having put in the correct information it is very frustrating to be repeatedly told, by a machine, that the info is wrong. If you get this made more user friendly it would be very helpful.”

“I have booked holidays with Barrhead travel a few tines and each time the service has been excellent . This time we are doing an Alaskan cruise with a trip through the rockies and hotel stays as well. My agent Laura was so helpfull in getting the best hotels and suitable flights for us . Cant wait to get there now .”

“We , my friends & I have had a few run ins with barrhead travel , but not this time , this was their last chance. We traveled to New York , and everything went like clockwork, we had a fab holiday. And we will use them again.”

“I booked a New York trip with Leanne Kerr in Dundee (online),in Feb. All my requirements were met,within budget,satisfactorily. Holiday went without a hitch..though hotel didn't acknowledge wife's birthday ...... I would use Barrhead Travel again.”

“Cruise was first class - all they said it would be. Only complaint is CDG where helpful staff and comfort are posted missing. Return flight via Amsterdam 100% better”

“Natalie kept to the budget I had set, found us good accommodation in the places I wanted to visit, was helpful in offering ideas, and was always available for comment/assistance throughout. Even whilst we were on holiday and I congratulated her on the choice of The Langham Chicago by email, she managed a reply. So my advice would be, dont give it a second thought for longhaul- go to Barrhead first!”

“The team in the Newton Mearns branch were very helpful when I was inquiring and booking a family cruise. Gordon McLaughlin went out of his way to explain every step of the booking, and the back up service was excellent.”

“I spoke to a sales person who gave me a price and information for a holiday and when I called back the following day she was off and I was passed to 3 different people who all gave me varying prices and info for the same holiday. Had I not been a previous customer of Barrhead Travel I would probably have gone elsewhere. As it was I just called back to speak to the first person when she came back to work and fortunately the holiday was still available. I didn't feel the experience was very professional. It won't stop me from using B T again though.”
