“Base makes nice shoes but their sizing is crazy big, I don't understand why someone doesn't just measure them, they are way off from standard sizeing charts ( 2 CM on the pair i measured!! ) For the last 40 years i've been between a 6.5 to 7, oredered these in a six and they were huge, reordered in a 5 and still too big!! I'm sure there are many men sized 6-7 that would like to buy shoes from Base but can't, If they got their sizing right i'm sure they would sell a lot more!!”

“I am very disappointed with the level of service. I placed an order nearly 10 days ago and have yet to receive any response or update. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, there has been no communication from the team. This lack of support is unacceptable, and based on my experience, I am rating the service one star”

“Unfortunately on the 2 occasions I have placed an order with Base they have not provided the experience I had hoped for. My first order with Base ended with me having to return 2 of the 3 pairs of shoes ordered. 1 pair was damaged and the other pair didn't fit. The second time the order wasn't even the pair of shoes I ordered.”

“I ordered a pair of shoes on 17th December. Some time later I received what I thought was Tracking information - but sadly no - it was a link to another shopping platform. When no shoes arrived last week I contacted Base London and was told: "I have raised an investigation with Global-E, as soon as I have confirmation I will let you know. Please allow up to a week for further answers.' I have no idea what Global E means and they said it may take a week to get me further information!. Instead of just sending me another pair of shoes - they want me to wait another week - for further information. Very poor service from a well known brand I have purchased many times.”
