“This is an update of my previous review. I eventually had my warranty restored to me, but only after a flurry of emails about necessary documentation, with the necessary information coming piecemeal and after, eventually, a gas engineer phoned them and got them to send me necessary handbooks and forms. The unhelpfulness was very stressful.”
“My installer, who had kept all the documentation, folded without notice. I reported a change of servicing company. Baxi seized the opportunity to ask for various proofs, knowing full well that I couldn't provide them, so that they can avoid honouring the warranty.”
“My EcoBlue boiler is now almost 9 years old and out of guarantee. It has been a nightmare. It has leaked every year since I got it. Same problem every time. The diverter valve is plastic it should be aluminium. I should have demanded a new boiler in the beginning. I now have a local firm fixing it for me. Time for a Worcester boiler I think.”
“Sudden increase in cost of annual servicing because "cleaning the filter is extra" even though it was done as standard previous years. Was told "you must've been undercharged". Really?!
Engineers are ok mostly. One did leave our filter leaking though and luckily i noticed it before he left.”
“Guy on phone said he can't send an engineer out until he speaks to the warranty company, it's 5 years old with full service history suppose to be 10 year warranty wtf?”
“Invested in a new Baxi 170L Main Direct and the off peak immersion overheated within a week and the on-peak shortly after, leading to me calling the plumber back in and then an electrician to troubleshoot at extra expense. After ruling out other issues and reporting it to Baxi, the thermostats were both replaced and configured differently to minimise overheating issues. With my previous old system the immersions lasted several years. Baxi are not taking responsibility for the inconvenience caused by their setup on a brand new product and consider a warranty fix to be sufficient. Their customer service is mostly good but I have low confidence in their products given the immediacy of issues. Use them at your own risk!”
“Useless. I have a fault with my boiler which requires a Baxi engineer. As of Thursday pm I have had no hot water or heating, Baxi "cannot" send an engineer until Tuesday. Baxi are willing to leave a home and family without hot water or heating for five days (and over a Bank Holiday weekend).”
“Mason had a high level of competence - he identified and solved a problem with the boiler, and was efficient, well organised and did not waste time.
In addition, he was friendly and explained things clearly to us.”
“Complete scam company. Give you a 10 yr warrnaty, but it starts failing after 3. They spent the last 4 years pretending they were going to fix it. Around 11 visits so far. It has been broken for the past week, despite me having major health problems. Company couldn't care less once they get your money.”
““I strongly suspect Sophia Maddison and her team are involved in fraudulent activities. Once they have your money, they start demanding huge sums to allow you to withdraw your funds. They are currently holding $120,000 of my money and are demanding over $40,000 for me to access it. Everything about them seems fake, and I want to warn others to stay away. Thankfully, Olive stepped in and helped me recover everything. If you’re in a similar situation, reach out to Olive and file a complaint immediately. Email: sophiamaddison270……@ gmail.com

“Been installed 4 year's and from first installation E133 fault constantly flagging. We've carried out every thing baxi engineers suggested work to be carried out and we've put up with resetting faulty boiler. So after 4 plus year's enough is enough of engineer visits carrying out work nothing related to the E133 fault or is there a serious electrical problem with the main board they don't want to address, now they are using health and safety issue of confined space issue working on boiler time I think to rip it out and fit another reliable brand”
