“Whilst I enjoyed the beers once I received them, I did have a few issues with my order. It was originally supposed to arrive on a Friday and I waited in for them with no joy. I then traced my delivery via the UK Mail website to see that it was "delayed" but would be delivered on the Monday - again to no avail. I then phoned Beer Hawk on the Monday afternoon to be told that upon investigation with UK Mail that the beers were damaged in transit. I eventually received my order on the Wednesday - 5 days later than I was supposed to. Sadly, this is not the first time that I have had issues with UK Mail & as sad as it makes me feel, I doubt I would ever order from Beer Hawk again given that they use UK Mail. Had I known before I placed my order that they used UK Mail, I doubt I would have placed an order with them.”

“Once in a while I like to treat myself to some foreign beer and I like to use Beer Hawk for their great overall service. Everything is straight forward and easy to order. with helpful customer reviews and various categories, even if your a novice it makes it easier to make your choice. Quick delivery and well packaged. I would definitely recommend.”

“This is my second time of using Beer Hawk, their selection is pretty good and prices are very comparable for beers that are difficult to find. I also ordered two chalice glasses, again not much more than you pay in Carefore in Belgium, and none of the worry about breaking them on the way home. The order was quickly dispatched and I was kept informed as to time and date of delivery. i would thoroughly recommend them to anyone seeking somethin a little different.”

“3 of the 12 ordered were replacements; a simple courtesy email requesting my views re replacement choices would have been helpful to allow me to decide rather than someone else who packed the order. Not the greatest first experience given that all the beers were indicated as being in stock when I placed the order.”

“Hmmmm I do not like writing negative reviews and have used Beer Hawk before and they have been great but I am left a little underwhelmed. Simply I ordered the Oktoberfest selection with great anticipation and expected 15 different beers I have never tried to arrive, (the previous box had contained 15 different beers and was a massive party hit.) The first issue was probably my excitement as after ordering I got an email telling me my beers were in the warehouse and ready for dispatch.... after 2 days I had heard nothing and contacted Beer Hawk only to be told they were still in the warehouse ready to be sent and would be shortly. They arrived 2 days later which is not bad but my excitement and an expectation of an Amazon esque delivery window meant the 4 days felt like an eternity. What would have helped was an indication of the length of time when ordering as I would have gone for the express option. The second issue is just instead of 15 different beers I got 5 different beers but 3 of each. I won't complain as they are good beers but I am surprised why there were only 5 different ones.... Thus, all in all it was just a little disappointing and underwhelming.”

Hi Garrett, Thanks for your feedback and i'm sorry we underwhelmed... I'm afraid the Oktoberfest case does only have 5 beers in it and that should be as described on the product page before your order. There's actually only 6 breweries in Munich, which means that's the maximum variety we can offer of true Oktoberfest beer, so it is a little bit different to some of our others that have 15 different ones in. With regard the delay it was partly us as we've got a backlog at the moment and partly our courier as it got misorte , so apologies for that. We're usually much much quicker than the 5 days we specify in our T&Cs. Hopefully you'll give us the chance to rectify next time? Cheers, Chris

“Although the delivery company brought the two boxes separately on different days, the selection of beer was great. It is the second year my wife and I have ordered the Oktoberfest box because we enjoy it so much. Great work !”
