“Prompt reply to my telephone call, followed by helpful advice. The only issue is the link between the carriers and the retailers............it dosen't exist. You cannot discern when the carriers are going to arrive with your delivery until the actual date when they specify the 2-hour timeslot. If your in, great, if not, tough luck. As it happens I was in when the carriers arrived with my order. So from the point of order to the delivery.........2 days. Excellent service! Tim.”

“I ordered a case of beer and a couple of glasses as a present. The beer arrived quickly, however when I came to open the box the glasses had not arrived. After contacted customer service they informed me that the glasses were out of stock and offered me a refund, which was processed the same day. I must say I was a little disappointed that the glasses were out of stock as it did not say this at any time whilst I was ordering, on my email confirmation or on the shipping manifest included in my parcel (which gave the impression they were in the box). This was annoying and is why they only get a normal rating as it is not difficult to monitor stock and avoid such situations arising and indeed to initiate contact when it was clear that the glasses would not be shipped in the original consignment - I generally don't think I should have to follow up with to get an explanation in such circumstances. That said I will definitely be ordering some beer from them again... and have half and eye on the beer club.”

Andrew, yes huge apologies for this, the warehouse gremlins had been shuffling our glasses and we thought we had more than we did. There should also have been a notification in the box that there was something out of stock. Glad you liked the beer though and hopefully we can tempt you with our beer club!

“Good speedy delivery. Got a selection of 30 beers in the big beery box. Selection looks good, no duplicates and I look forward to trying my first lambic. However, no stouts and a few too many pilsners for my liking. Partly my fault for not researching the long list of beers or going for something more specific. But would be nice if they listed how many of each type you are likely to receive and perhaps the bottle size (330 ml vs 500 ml). Only other complain is that a lot of the bottles have scuff marks on them, presumably from storage.”

“I'm a bit apprehensive about shopping online at places i haven't heard of or bought from before, i usually just stick to the stuff i know, but the beer i wanted wasn't available anywhere else, Beer Hawk seem to be the only ones to have it listed and in stock. I found the beer i wanted straight away, and at the best price i had seen anywhere online!! Also the service was outstanding and i was shocked at how fast my beer arrived, and how well packaged it was. I will definitely be using them for all my beer needs, and I've even got my dad into using them now! Thanks Beer Hawk!!! :)”
