“Quick delivery and everything was packaged well. I ordered the German beer which had a great selection for the price. Also ordered a mystery mixed case which was good value and included beers we wouldn't normally try but enjoyed”

“Received a beer token as birthday present and got a super selection of beers. Easy to use website with fantastic selection. Fast delivery and beers came in good packaging. So far all the ones I've tried have been in perfect condition. Favourite so far probably Noire du Midi Belgian porter. Cheers”

“In general my experience with beer merchants has been very good. I value their large selection of available beer and I really enjoy their tap room. I would prefer that they improve their ordering form to allow for better consolidation into a box. I made an order recently of mixed cans and bottles and it came to me in three different parcelforce deliveries. I would have prefered that it came in one delivery that I could plan for. One of the beers was backordered or forgotten and it came in it's own box large box only one day later. I would of preferred waiting the one day or even receiving a credit for the beer over a new box.”

“I was disappointed by the way my beers were packaged. Parcel Force may be partially to blame for the state of my parcel but the initial packaging was poor. There was a large hole in the side of the box below the hand grips. Anyone could look into the box to see the contents. There was only one strip of tape holding the top of the box closed. This had not been put on straight so was barely keeping the box closed. The bottles of beer were poorly packed so were rattling around in the box. No bubble wrap of extra protection used. Poor response to compliant. No reply on twitter and no offer of compensation.”

Hi Mark, Really sorry about this, the handle has definitely been ripped in transit by the looks of it. From what we can tell this looks to have been carried by just one of the handles which has made the entire contents of the package move. The issue has already been raised with our account manager at Parcelforce. The Beer Merchants Team

“Great range of beer, the delivery charge I thought was reasonable. My ale arrived within 48hrs of ordering it which was prompt. A tad disappointed that the courier dropped it with a neighbour that I would not trust with a bag of sand let alone seriously good beer but hey ho that's a courier thing. I would use them again.”
