Product was as expected and did enjoy ! However I was hoping it would arrive for my sisters Wedding on the Saturday ! However it was Monday before it arrived

Bought a "Premium" Mystery box and was fairly disappointed. I have regularly bought the standard mystery box and recommended it to everyone as the best beer deal on the market, this was when it was still 24 beers for £24. Now understandably, due to the rising cost of living, this has gone to £34.99 and so has become less of a bargain. When they released the "Premium Mystery Box" I immediately jumped at the chance to buy as I thought it would contain an even more premium selection of beers than the standard box due to the high price of £49.99. The selection of beers was much the same… When I look through their online shop they have some absolutely amazing +£10 beers so I was expecting to see maybe one or two of these in my box but nothing particularly amazing and many duplicates whereas the standard box used to be all unique beers. When I contacted them to complain about this I was told that the price was this high as "many of these beers are still in date" and there were "2 snack to enjoy" (sic) though these were some of the most mediocre snacks I've ever had the pleasure of trying. They finished by saying they would try to improve any further packages they may do rather than offering any remediation. It's unlikely I will be recommending this service to anyone anymore.

Forgot to dispatch a mini keg in my order. Contacted shop.and they dispatched it next day. However the beer needed for the weekend and only arrived Monday due to their error not dispatching it with original order. Said sorry in email and that's it. Very poor rectification of their error. Will I buy again from them? No thanks.

Beer merchants used to be a great company however if something goes wrong they lack compassion and they don't fix the issue. They really need to sort out their customer service. I've had two issues with them very recently which made me leave their premium subscriptions service. The main issue I've had was that I've received my premium subscription service and my order clearly was tampered with....someone had opened the box and it was delivered to my doorstep clearly damaged with the cans all dented. The delivery driver was none the wiser and said that is how he had received the package. I reached out to beer merchants thinking they would look into this or further somekind of action and all I got was a one sentence apology and a statement saying that it wasn't them... I couldn't help but feel cheated in some way shape of form as I was a customer with them for a year and this is the response I get.

Hi, I emailed the following feedback to your info@ email on 1st May and received no response: The beers taste great but seem very flat. Even the lager is completely flat in the glass after about one minute. I have tried each of the beers ordered now. Have you had any similar reports from other customers?

The beer case was poor: ten beers, and four of them were duplicated. The choices were also very pedestrian and available in Sainsbury’s.

Disappointed as product didn’t arrive as described. Beers should have had a glass with it. When contacted the options were to return beer & have a refund or keep beers without glass. Neither option involved having the glass! Pricing & delivery good.

My order arrived without four of the beers I'd ordered. Unfortunately I had still been charged for the missing beers and they showed up on the packing slip as being present. Although disappointed that I didn't receive my full order I can accept that stock levels change all the time. My issue is that there was no acknowledgement that the order was incomplete, and it was left to me to phone customer services to request a refund. I'd like to see Beer Merchants being proactive in informing customers when orders are incomplete and issuing refunds automatically in such circumstances. I'm sure that this was an innocent mistake but lessons have to be learned to improve the system.

I love Beer Merchants. However, with this order, they didn't include one of the beers that I ordered and didn't tell me via email or anything. They refunded me for a beer, but not the right one. I'm still down a couple of quid because the beer they refunded me for was cheaper than the beer I actually didn't get. I appreciate this might be human error, but when you wait over a week and pay postage for a 3-5 day delivery only to be disappointed on the day, it's frustrating. I tried calling up a few times but every call went straight to voicemail. As I said, I love Beer Merchants and have been to their bars etc, but this was disappointing. I can deal with wait time as I understand they're busy given the situation, but to swap out a beer and not inform a customer about it until it arrives is really annoying. The beer was still on the invoice, if they didn't have it in stock then that's fine but then I should have been refunded the right amount. Also, to complete the orderz I was on the website for a solid 45 minutes to an hour just to order 9 beers. It was extremely slow and poorly designed so that you couldn't go back to the page you were previously at. If you scrolled through the breweries, it wouldn't go back to where you were, but you'd have to scroll though all of them again (and wait for them to load). A fan of Beer Merchants, but thoroughly disappointed on this occasion.

I bought a case of ten bottles of beer. The delivery requested confirmation of my safe place and then ignored my response leaving the package at an inconvenient place. The packaging was poor, providing insufficient protection. One bottle suffered a pressure leak and was half full on receipt. There has been no response to my email about this. Overall, not good.
