Sent me completely the wrong case of beer, and then when I complained by email I received no response at all. Shambles.

My last 3 orders have had missing beers or had incorrect beers and it has taken a week to hear anything back from customer services.

Order never went out for delivery, no information why or how long the delay would be. On the good side, the refund went very well and quickly. Team is very communicative. Still, I'd rather have had my delivery and not bother at all. Would not order again.

No information about delivery..e-mailed but No response. Then email about tjat your order is shipped..No order arrived..Waited and then had to call them..after that i finally got my beer. Need to step up on service

Hi, Really sorry to hear you had problems with the couriers in this instance. We ship on an express service but sometimes things can go awry once passed over to a 3rd party courier. Delivery was shocking, paying £5 for delivery and it takes 9 days .............. My husband asked me for this beer for his birthday.........he got it a week later. Ok you sent a email saying it got damaged and was returned to you therefore you had to send it out again. I got the impression that it was ok , as I was the one chasing up the order not the other way around.

Hi, Really sorry to hear you had these difficulties. With the bank holiday weekend hitting we had four days of no deliveries which had affected this order. We always aim to get our deliveries out as quickly as possible, as we had done once we were notified of the damages following this holiday. The Beer Merchants team

My package was damaged at first send but no mail to aware me of this problem. I had to contact them couple times to get informations about that problem. They send it again but 1 product missed (damaged then out of stock) and they didnt give me the tracking number 2 times in a row. Well , a huge amount of problems that they cant deal with ?

Absolutely made up that I managed to find kona brewing co beers at a decent price & delivery. Ordered 28 beers in total ahead of a party over Christmas. Order arrived 2 beers short of one variety which I ordered. Great price but poor experience for a first timer customer.

I love the range of beers you guys sell, the website is great and I so bought some Christmas beers for my girlfriend for her to open on Christmas Day! However, despite the quick and safely packaged delivery of them, most of the beers I purchased have damaged labels and are scratched, I understand that this email may read that I'm being difficult and specific. I just really wanted the present to be special and represent the special effort I made to choose exciting beers I know she will love! I'd love to get in touch with you guys to see if any of this experience can be revived or explained either way I'm sure the beer will taste great! Cheers. Alex alex@theolddog.co.uk

Hi Alex, most of the beers you have ordered are from Belgium where they use a returnable bottle scheme so the bottles you have may have been used 5-10 times before and because of that sometimes they won't look at their 100% best. The labels may not stick 100% properly but they have come from far away and from some very small breweries. Apologies they didn't come as you wanted but we do try our best to ensure all our labels are the best we can get hold of.

Poor delivery service which although not the fault of beer merchants directly, they were very slow to respond and help

I was disappointed as Beet Merchants sent me the wrong beer. They did then send out the correct one as soon as they could. I only ordered a small selection as I was unable to purchase the beers locally, however the packaging was ridiculous as a few cans came in a very large box. When Beer Merchants then sent my replacement beer the same thing happened. Very environmentally unfriendly.

At first some beers were missing (one was the most expensive!!), I must admit that they send them to me in a second parcel the day after I emailed explaining the problem but I live in Italy, this means 6 days waiting. It's not the first time, the same happened in another orther made together a friend of mine, always the most expensive and rare bottle of the order. Anyway, the worst is that most part of the beers are really close to the best before date and are beers based on hops freshness (ex. Buxton Moor Top bottled 02/16, Firestone Walker Double barrel Ale best before 11/16, Magic Rock Inhaler best before 12/16)

Your website crashes regularly when trying to pay for an order My last 2 orders have had things wrong with them. Although you corrected them both with no fuss, it was the inconvenience of having to chase you, that I don't get with other beer sites.

Ordered some beer from Beavertown as they advertised fresh stock available online, to then received old stock from Beermerchants. Also placed an order one day to then see a new product would be available the next so asked if my order could be held so I could add to it. I was told no as they didn't know when the new stock would arrive. It then arrived as I expected in the online shop the next day. Wasn't impressed with the service at all, especially as I had placed a few order and been a loyal customer.

Positives: Range of beers available, email communications (style and frequency) Negatives: 1. choice of courier. Nothing. It problems with Parcelforce - missing delivery, erroneous instructions for collection, difficulties contacting them. Cost 2. Still having to pay courier costs despite walking around my town, knocking on doors, trying to find my beer! No offer of a refund or compensation. 3. Beers on the site which aren't available.

I ordered 4 beers. This came to £20.95 with delivery (£6.75 for delivery, which is ridiculous when there is a 3-4 day wait). Only 3 of my 4 beers turned up. Cheers.
