“Rated a 4, but the selection can be hit or miss. They have some really good selection at times, but it is not consistent. Also, they seem to have a lot of IPAs that are well past their prime and it's always disappointing to receive those after paying some fairly high shipping costs. IPAs older than 5-6 months should be discounted.”

“I ordered a 'Fridge Thriller' pack of 20 beers for £20. Never having dealt with Beer Merchants before, all I can say is WOW......THE SERVICE WAS SUPERB value for money amazing....clearance lines they may be, but just a wonderful selection of eclectic beers.....so highly recommended....just fantastic ...thanks very much...”

“Package was damaged in transit so didn't arrive on time for my brothers birthday and I had to chase it up. Response I got was just a generic email, nothing personal. When the items were resent the courier didn't even call to my brothers address yet said he wasn't at home and obviously no calling card was left. It was another 2 days before he got the delivery. Bad first experience with beer merchants......”

“Very fast and efficient service. I love the fact that they are able to source beers from literally the other side of the world! I bought the Kona gift box with a variety of beers and a glass for my hubby's birthday which he absolutely loved! Thanks beer merchants for helping me make my husbands birthday that bit more special!”

“Prompt service, kept me up to speed with my order, delicious beer - and at a great January sale price! Can't fault them. I've been a customer for a couple of years now, and remain completely satisfied with every order. Telephone enquiries are answered quickly and knowledgeably, too. “Selection of beers excellent. My only gripe is slowish delivery in view of high delivery charge. Delivery charge is £6.95. This is on the high side by comparison with other online companies, so it is reasonable to expect quick delivery. My order actually took four days to arrive - not overlong, but for £6.95 would expect quicker than this.”

“Good for Belgian beers, and quick delivery etc., but website is annoying because it shows you a picture of every bottle, and as we have pretty poor broad band this takes ages. A written list would do for me, and be much quicker. Also its great that you can recall your previous order to re-order, but not very good when the site just says 'out of stock' without telling you which beer is out of stock - in fact so frustrating that I have given up trying to re-order, which is a shame.”

“The selection of beers was pretty good and the packaging should have been decent enough but there was the tiniest amount of parcel tape on the box, as a result it had come open in transit. The Postal Force delivery driver was not happy with the packing quality and expressed this to me the customer.”

“Beermerchants have a great range of beer. That is delivered quickly without any fuss. The website is really easy to browse and use too e.g. keep saved items that you can come back and order. Their mailouts are interesting - with new beers and stuff. I like Beermerchants. I like beer.”

“Have used Beermerchants a few times now and will always use in future. They forgot to pack my free glass on this occasion but having contacted through Twitter it was with me the next day however royal mail decided to throw my fragile marked package over a six foot fence chipping the glass inside. I tweeted them again not expecting them to be able to do anything however I have today received another glass. Amazing customer service would always recommend :-D PS. The beers are some of if not the best value for money online”
