The request for this review has been the first form of communication I have received from Beer Hunter. They have taken my money, but I have not received my purchase, and I have had no e-mails or calls, despite me trying to get in touch. Fingers crossed I actually get the purchase, otherwise this is definitely a scam,.

This invitation to write a review is the only communication I have had from this company. I've had no beer or any other contact despite numerous calls and emails. They took my money instantaneously and have not delivered anything, not even an email confirmation. I'm thinking they may have gone bust, although they're still taking orders. Avoid.

Placed an order at the weekend, money taken immediately but no email confirmation to sat order received. Have tried to contact but no one has replied to any messages, can only guess the money has been taken and it’s a fraud website

I placed an order last Thursday and did not receive a confirmation only a receipt from PayPal. I sent Beer Hunter an email asking if they are processing the order and an estimated arrival date. They did not reply.. My order has not been delivered and I am not really sure if it is coming or not.

I placed a large order with Beer Hunter. The email confirmation listed the items and said they would let me know when the order was ready for dispatch. They didn’t. I then received an email from Royal Mail saying they would deliver the order. The order arrived but when I unpacked it, it did not contain any of my order - completely the wrong beer, from the correct brewery, but not the right beer. This was on Christmas Eve. I telephoned but nobody answered. I left a message. I also complained by email - no reply. It is now 27th December- still no reply. Very unhappy.

Terrible! Do not use, complete scam of a website. Sent incorrect product and when emailed I got no response. Better off going to Honest Brew, much better service

Hi Savanna, I have looked into your review above and can see that it wasn't the whole order that was incorrect but the glass. We did rectify this as far as I am aware by sending out the corrected one, if this is not the case please let me know. Thanks Paula

I would like to say that this product is brilliant, however, I cannot say that as I have still not received the item which was ordered nearly 10 day ago. It was also meant to be a retirement gift for a colleague, but was obviously unable to give him the gift. I was told it would be delivered within 5 working days, clearly this did not happen. I rang up to enquire about the delivery details and was told at the latest I would receive the parcel by Friday 20.12.19 which is when the leaving party was. I stayed in all day to receive the parcel which was clearly wasted. Now I have to do a 50 mile round trip to drop this gift off when it finally arrives whereas it should have been given at work. I have sent Admin an email voicing my concerns/issues but have not had a reply yet.Then to top it all off, I receive an email asking me to write a review to for the product that I had purchased, which to be honest is quite comical.

Ordered 12 beers in time for a Christmas gift, was sent a dispatch notification on Tuesday, still hadn't arrived by Friday, and when I emailed they said they had problems with this supplier and that the beer was actually out of stock. So why send the email with a Royal Mail Tracking code (which didn't work on Royal Mail's website) if the beer wasn't actually shipped? And why is this beer still showing as available on the website? I have been refunded, but only after emailing to find out where the beers were, and now haven't got enough time to order a replacement gift from anywhere.

Poor Value, advertised in Christmas gift box. 3 cans and a poor glass. 18 cans of Brewdog in Sainsbury's £18! Dont waist your money with this company

I ordered a Christmas gift from Beerhunter, a gift set of four beers and a glass. Beerhunter posted this fragile and breakable item in a cardboard packet - it arrived at the delivery address in a completely unacceptable state. The glass and some bottles had smashed, leaving a soggy parcel containing liquid and broken shards of glass, and a disintegrated returns slip. As advised by Royal Mail, I refused to sign for the item (having no readable return address from the returns slip). I have contacted Beerhunter through two separate methods to resolve my issue but am yet to receive a response to either message. Incredibly disappointing; I’ve not experienced a service like it.

Hi Rachel Thank you for your review. As always our parcels leave us in perfect condition and we are at the mercy of the couriers to deliver these in the same condition. Unfortunately due to the nature of our business damages do happen but we can rectify these. I can see that your order has been refunded in full after receiving this back from the courier. I was very excited about receiving my gift for my husband, but soon very disappointed when my parcel arrived, because it was the wrong glass. Only a glass I know, but the glass was the reason for ordering my gift. Gonna just be a nightmare to return please receiving my refund in time to re-order again with the worry of receiving the wrong one again. So ordered the glass from somewhere else and I’ll put the right glass in the gift!

Ordered a cloudwater festive pack, which according to the photos contained a cloudwater glass and 4 cans of cloudwater beer. I received a beer hunter glass, 3 cans and some pretzels. On re-reading the small print it does state a beer hunter glass and 3 cans. However given the photo clearly displays a cloudwater glass, which is the main reason I made the purchase, I am very disappointed. I have also made contact through the website and had no reply. Poor advertisement, poor communication. Will not be shopping here again.

I haven’t received anything yet. I ordered it on 2nd Dec I’ve tracked it through Royal Mail and it says waiting to receive it from beer hunter

Hi Caroline, I have looked into your order, we received this at 21.07 on 02/12 so was picked up on 03/12, this was dispatched from us on 04/12 within our 5 day delivery times. Unfortunately it looks like the delay was with the courier on this occasion. Thanks Paula

Next day delivery took 4 days and no answer to my email. Very disappointing ‘gift set’ - just a box with 3 beers and a glass in so way overpriced. Cans were also sticky.

Total rubbish ordered on 24th November and no delivery, I tried emailing and got no reply, I had to ring over a week later and they dispatched my order. when it arrived it was incomplete Now waiting for a refund
