Faulty mattress, waited 3 weeks for a replacement, the replacement packaging was damaged ,the mattress was dirty and wet, had to wait another three weeks, low and behold they sent the same one back today the29/7/19, rejected again and told to go to the branch, got fobbed off at the store, customer service is diabolical and they never ring back, paid over £2k fora load of rubbish, will never shop here again, hoping for a complete refund, don’t waste your hard earned on this rubbish service

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I bought furniture from this company last October 2018 totalling nearly 3.5k. Initially they sent the wrong furniture we then had to wait 12 weeks for the correct furniture that we ordered and paid for to arrive. When it arrived one of the surfaces of the units was damaged, back to the store another was ordered 12 weeks later arrived, lo and behold it was damaged we eventually received the replacement last week in good order. It took Bensons nearly 9.5 months to correct their error. In all of this the store when the replacement part that was damaged delivered offered us £150 compensation on completion, by the way they still haven't sent the person who built our furniture yet to fix this, which we paid £250 for. So likely to go into 10-11 months before fully resolved. To add insult today I have been informed by Bensons they will only refund £50, if we don't like this they then encouraged us to go to the Ombudsman. This is a warning to all about thinking of shopping with these crooks, my mission will be too post this on every social media and review site possible as a warning to everyone. I will also be considering legal action against this company.

Awful customer service! Sleeping on the sofa due to fault in bed!! It wasn’t cheap either!! Get bed delivered open up the bed frame notice damage caused from packaging. I ring the shop and they inform me that I have to ring customer services - a 50 minute wait and some miserable woman answers. She tells me I have to send a photo and that the replacement would take up to 7 days. She then continues to say that the it could take up to 10 days for the email to be read - I must ring back she says. I remind her that she’s in the phone to me now so why can’t it be done over the phone? And she just said it can’t. I send an email with a picture attached and surprise surprise bensons for beds server is down!! I went into the shop today today hoping I’d get some clarification on when I’ll be getting the new piece and I was told they weren’t sure “have you rang customer services?”. I think i It’s ridiculous that stores aren’t allowef to ring customer services anthere is no direct line. I won’t be buying from Bensons or recommending to friends.

We ordered two wardrobes on line 8 weeks ago. Had to chase up for confirmation of the delivery. On arrival we signed the delivery note as "unchecked" because drivers will not wait. Then as start to unpack the boxes we find that they fittings for both along with the draws where not there. After ring customer service and having to wait for a call back...... we are told they do not believe us, that we have to send photos, that they will not accept they are missing. Have said they will be sending out two fitting packs but reading others reviews how long that will take is another long question. DO NOT BUY FROM BENSONS

purchased a 6 door sliding robe unit with 2 very large heavy drawers under the robes .The men who built the unit told us they never built one before with 2 very heavy drawers usually they would have 4 .The unit cost nearly £2000 and looked great .After approx. 11 months one of the very flimsy handles on the top drawer broke then the other one a few months later .My husband tried to purchase handles which would fit but couldn't get them anywhere so he took one of the bottom drawer and when he was screwing it onto the top the glass cracked and has gotten worse . At the time this started my father was diagnosed with cancer and my daughter was having a very tough pregnancy so I didn't have the time or energy to travel to Belfast to complain so I emailed head office but heard nothing so I filled in an online complaints form on the Belfast store but nothing ,eventually we had to drive to the store and showed the salesman photos which he asked me to email to him .Had a call today with an English accent so I presume head office who was far from helpful just kept repeating the 1 year warranty was over so they would do nothing .We had also lost our baby grandson a few months ago and I was not up to this unhelpful person and I was getting so upset I just hung up .I will never purchase from Harveys/Bensons For Beds ever again and just wish I had not also purchased my daughters bedroom unit from them .Customer Service dreadful would give them zero if I could AC

Everything was fine until the bed was delivered. There was some minor damage to the headboard caused at the packing stage, of which I sent numerous photos to the Customer Services team. After receiving no response and chasing them up a couple of times, I had a voicemail from them saying as they couldn't get hold of me they would email me instead to resolve the situation. Since the voicemail I have chased up twice more but have had zero response, and as I told them last week, I am now turning to social media to complain (a last resort for me - but I've given it long enough). Like many other reviewers I phoned to chase up, only to hear recorded messages telling me how important I was, but then to expect a 27 minute wait for my call to be answered! Seriously Benson's????? The shop staff were good and the delivery service was exceptionally efficient, but the aftercare teams really let the business down. Benson's - you need to get this sorted.

Ordered bed on Thursday pm and realised I could buy one of the same quality much cheaper so cancelled order Monday an. I was expecting a cancellation charge but £180 ? How is that justified ? just makes me glad I didn't go ahead with order to be honest .

I don’t even want to give 1 star customer service is terrible. I had 2 beds delivery & both don’t fit the mattress, 1 mattress was even bought from Bensons. When I contact customer service very rude lady Leila, not was she rude but wouldn’t pass the phone her manager or another colleague as her attitude with terrible. I have been phone customer service so many times to get the resolved & waiting time to is 1 hrs to 1:30. I had to spend more money to exchange my king size bed and know I have a damaged double bed frame. I would never want to purchase from Benson again. This was my first time and last time.

Terrible customer service in store but I wanted the wardrobes, then equally bad customer service when trying to schedule delivery and after 12 weeks of waiting I had the wardrobe delivered with a part missing and it has taken a further 6 weeks before my first update to say the order for the spare part is being processed which was by text message. Not only that but the company they get to assemble left my wardrobe in pieces, spread across 2 rooms in a bit of a mess! Awful company! The only reason I’ve given them 1 star is that it wasn’t an option to give them 0!!

Sorry I can’t give less then one star. I had a wardrobe delivered on the 24/6/2019 which had damaged plinths. I immediately contacted Benson’s customer service and I was told that the plinths would be replaced and fitted free of charge and that I would be contacted to let me know when. It has now been nearly four weeks and after three E mails and a number of calls to the service department I have not have any response from them. Today I called customer service and I was told there would be a 58 minute wait (ridiculous) so I opted for call back. It has not been an hour and a half and I have still not received a call. I started a chat with their on line representative to be told he couldn’t help and to contact customer services. This is appalling service and I will never buy from Bensons again.

Bad bed experience 2019. Gladly paid the money for what appeared to be a good product. This expensive opulence bed sagged badly after just a few months. Our weight is normal. The customer care response; send FIRA technician to write a report. He said it was a good case to exchange, sagging was over tolerance. But guess what, Bensons disagreed implying no problem, ignoring the fact that plastic tufts dig into your hips and destroy just what you wanted; a good-nights sleep. Avoid or suffer extremely poor after sales service. Don't say you weren't warned!

For goodness sake do not go anywhere near Bensons for Beds. I took my elderly mother to purchase new bedroom furniture at the beginning of June. On delivery day in July the fitting box for the larger wardrobe was not delivered and connecting screws for the second wardrobe were missing. After a 45 minute phone call, they really need more people to answer their phones, we were informed the missing parts would be delivered in 7-10 days. We have indeed received the connecting screws for the second wardrobe, twice. Subsequent phone calls, usually answered after 20-30 minutes of waiting time, have yet to reveal when the fixing box for the larger wardrobe is going to arrive, if ever. My mother, aged 86, is at her wits end struggling in a one bedroomed flat with a large flat packed wardrobe taking up a lot of space. This bedroom furniture cost an awful lot of money. Shame on you Benson for Beds!

We were sold a faulty bed not a visible fault but a terrible odour that kept you awake and feeling sick. This was confirmed by the person sent out to inspect it. After expecting a big apology we were met with heated phone calls made by us I might add after waiting for them to ring us. We were willing to pay more money another 200 pounds. To get a decent nights sleep. They said they would have to charge us to change the design!!After Another heated conversation they said they would wave that policy! Today our new mattress arrived we are hoping we can have a long awaited good nights sleep!! Our advise do not walk into Bensons for Beds the sales people are polite . The Products We were sold a Faulty Mattress and were made to think they were doing us a favour to put it right. Bensons our Nightmare. We are 80 82 yrs of age.

Same as a lot of people on here, purchase a king size mattress from the Cheltenham store. After 3 months we noticed dips in the mattress, despite the fact it was flipped and turned every 2 weeks. We contacted the customer service and they sent their Technician out and, like previous reviewers, lots of blah blah then he tells us the dips are happening because the bedframe is too small for the mattress, by 6-7cm according to him. We were gobsmacked by this as we have had the bedframe 18 years and it has always had a kingsize mattress on it. We received a letter explaining all of this so we asked their customer service for a photograph of this mysterious 6/7cm overhang, no response apart from get your own technician. We then sent a letter to them with photographs that clearly show that the frame is 150cm wide and the slats are near the top of the frame, no response. We then sent an email and copied in the MD, Alan Williams, no response. I then sent another email to Mr Alan Williams Direct, no response. They have to be the worst company we have ever bought anything from, avoid them at all costs

Would rate it 0 the customer service is absolutely disgusting they not intrested that the lie to you, we made a order in april to be given 4 different delivery dates, then told bed base is missing, then mattress was damaged finally 4 months later we get our delivery different to what we ordered due to our base been out of stock, trying to sort the complaints out is like talking to a brick wall, this company is disgusting and customer service is none existent. Save your money and buy else where. Never again

Isn’t it interesting how Trust Pilot gives a score of 9.2 and yet “Reviews” score it at 1.27. My personal experience with a large purchase last year would go with the latter score as I scored them 1 and actually reported them to the Health & Safety Executive in Luton for a flagrant breach of manual handling regulations. Like many others it would seem, the majority of my order was delivered in a damaged condition, and in my case, I waited almost 4 months for replacement items. Customer service is virtually non existent and management appear not to care. Will never buy from them again ever!!!!!!!!

This is the Manager of Snipe retail park bensons for beds, it seems she’s been using the beds in her store to commit adultery, and also the toilets, and also a hotel in Hyde on a Thursday when both her and the manager of Harvey’s were suppose to be working - nice job Adrianne your a credit to your family I’m sure everyone is proud of you - home wrecking tramp !

Went to Scarboro store today and lady at work did not seem as though she needed to deal with customers, we are looking for a kingsize pocket sprung mattress in a firm feel and as they only had 1 to show us which had a topper that we did not like the feel of she said that was all they did !. There was no attempt to show us one in a double size that would be available in the larger size if it suited out requirements. Have now been somewhere else and had a really helpful person deal with us and mattress now ordered. Hope staff in Bensons work on commission but probably not.

Bought a wardrobe and bed drawer units, still paying for it, wardrobe door fell off hinges , unfortunately only 12 months guarantee, had loads of problems with purchase in the beginning with this company ...... NEVER AGAIN !
